sexually inappropriate scene in 'It's Okay to Not Be Okay' episode 3 ??? I watched IOTNBO n number of times didn't…
The locker room scene where KMY touches MGT abs without his consent, and for the patient scene whose genitals were covered by a drawing of an elephant.
The period for signing the ongoing petition will end on January 19, 2022. The Blue House will respond to the petition by 6 February – 10 February. By that time 'Snowdrop' will complete its broadcast.
I also found that generally in the case of anything related to television, their answer includes that Korea Communications Standards Commission (KCSC, the broadcast regulator and censorship body in South Korea) would review this. For example, in 2018, a petition was signed to cancel the license of TV Chosun and the Blue House shifted everything to the KCSC. (https://www.donga.com/news/article/all/20180614/90582406/2)
KCSC also takes the actions when it recieves formal complaints directly from the viewers. For example, atleast 50 people sent formal complaints to KCSC against a sexually inappropriate scene in 'It's Okay to Not Be Okay' episode 3. The KCSC issued a legal sanction against tvN after 2 months from the broadcast of episode 3, that is after 17 days from the completion of the series. A warning as a legal sanction is considered a heavy penalty here, as it affects the broadcaster unfavorably during the KCSC’s annual broadcast evaluation for license renewal. Also according to the Blue House response in March 2021, it said the broadcasts that undermine the public responsibility of broadcasts or violate regulations, such as by excessive distortion of history, requires deliberation by the KCSC. So, it is clear that again this time the final decision would be in the hands of KCSC. But by the time it would take any action the broadcast of the series would be complete. And I think, if there is anything which KCSC would find as inappropriate, it would issue a legal sanction against JTBC just like in the case of tvN.
'Snowdrop' production staff member says "We made the project bearing in mind NSA agents were ordinary people too"'Snowdrop'…
As as responsible person, you should add a disclaimer that this is not the official position of 'The Production Team Of Snowdrop' but is an opinion of 'An Anonymous Staff'.
Gang Moo, and his team ignoring the Chief of ANSP kind of defeats the purpose. I think people wanted a completely…
He is an ANSP agent.
But unlike the reality he is a little different from the general image of the ANSP.
His head says to Kang Moo that you are shame in the name of ANSP.
That is how the writer wants to show the real image of ANSP.
And according to the statement realeased by JTBC in March "he is a secret agent who turns down the chance to be appointed to a powerful position in his country and instead works overseas after he is disheartened to see his colleagues “creating” spies instead of “catching” them. He is also portrayed as a man of principle who turns his back on the corrupt organization and does what he thinks is right."
I can tell my opinions are going to be of the unpopular one, but that has never stopped me when commenting on…
I'll try to answer a few.
1. The person Hye-roung called is not in military but a cadet (student) in a military university. (This info is from the character description at JTBC's official website.)
4. Because they need a invitation card to enter which only girls of dorm can give to only one person.
It's actually interesting in that all the complaints against this drama distorting history I haven't seen any…
I was not very sure till episode 2, but after episode 3, I am hundred and ten percent sure that the writer is actually criticizing the North Korean dictatorship, South Korean authoritarian government and the ANSP through the power of her writing. I went to watch the show without any prejudice so it was easier for me to grasp it.
I mean... it's 3 episodes in. The NSA isn't really depicted as anything?
The scene between Lee Kang-moo and his head has a very strong meaning and speaks a lot.
Lee Kang-moo said that why higher ups don't allow us to catch the spies when there is a real one. We have made so many spies without any evidence then why higher ups don't allow us to catch when there is a real one. Then his head said that people like you who are just and righteous are a shame on ANSP, we only need to follow the orders.
We also found Secretary-General of the Party who was the former director of ANSP, and Young-ro's father who is the current director of ANSP, are directly involved in bringing those spies to South.
If you think the way writer wants and not what snowflakes are shouting then you'll understand that how in such a subtle way ''Snowdrop'' is actually criticizing ANSP.
Right:"people doing their job"
In no way they have been represented as "good". And Lee Kang Moo, who is the ANSP agent, himself admitted that they frame innocent people as spies.
I would say they have been presented in "neutral" way.

The writer is using the character of Kang Moo to make critical viewpoint on the ANSP.
He doesn't represent the organization.

Every people have there own way to watch.
Some just watch for enjoyment and don't add real life logic in it.
But some people like to critic while watching.
They are from the later one.
You should never stop anyone from writing what they want unless some snowflakes who are just known for hatred.
Time to ponder.
Snowflakes cannot relate.
