To me Jun's wig looks like those butterfly hairstyle that girls have. They could've done it like Kiyoka in MHMLA, Ren looked pretty while still very manly. The fringe and long hair moved nicely and wasn't a hindrance during fight scenes.

Same, hopefully nothing else will be as bad as Jun's wig, because I really want this to be good.

The dark tournament happened to be my fave part but I also enjoyed the other arcs, it won't be my fave anime if I didn't like it overall. The reason I thought it will be covered is because its short compared to other animes.

Adapting something from one medium to another won't be exactly the same, but if they made changes I hope it'll work well just like OPLA.

Ah guess I forgot, I was a kid when it aired and in the few times I rewatched I usually start at dark tournament part.

So since its netflix I guess I should hope it'll be a success for a renewal.

I know about those arcs but iirc cmiiw Toguro bros didn't show up until the dark tournament, but here they're already shown fighting all 4 not in an arena setting. So I assumed they changed and scrapped the dark tournament part.

The ratings disagree, Koreans love their saeguk and My Dearest is doing really well. The heavy part could apply to makjang and crime ones that were a lot in the last few years, its probably why light/fluff are preferred lately.

True, but c-ent also produce hundreds of same plot, badly written, low quality and liuliang dramas. So maybe thats why those well written ones are valued.

Its not like k-ent completely don't give importance to good scripts, and they also cast veteran actors as leads, not just popular idols. Maybe its many factors combined into one why Arthdal 2 did so poorly, or it could just be the timing.

The rating is so low for a big budget drama with well known casts. Even Strong Girl Namsoon is triple Arthdal 2's rating.

It could be the lead change or competition of weekend dramas. Because I don't think its the genre or the plot since Alchemy 2 reached double digits ratings.

Sounds like KSY and KJH's love story in Mother of Mine. They were the only one that I enjoyed among the 3 cps in that drama. So I might check this out when it airs.

The amount of times a fl gets kidnapped is not surprising to me anymore, but the amount of times a dna test gets swapped/done was a first.

The whole drama I kept trying to remember where I've seen ml before because he looked familiar. While fl looks like Kim Yoojung & Tzuyu depending on the angle.

Now that I'm done and rating it, turns out ml is 2ml's sidekick in TTEOTM.
Overall, a typical mini but watchable.

The important parts of the story are there but the pacing felt rushed. I get the limited time but I think showing certain parts would make some scenes make more sense.

Good thing I have the background of both the manga and anime.
Overall, it was still a good watch.
Ren is a long haired bishounen that is pretty but still manly.
