I was shocked at the rating after watching the series...in fact you won't believe I put off watching it for such a long time becoz of this rating but then I watched some video explaining why this show gets so much hate..so I thought of giving it a try and deciding on my own ...Han Ji Pyo was a very well written character and I loved him too especially his dynamic with Grandma...actually I thought the show did a very good job of balancing the relations with Do San and Dal Mi's romantic relation taking centre stage at some points and HJP and Grandmas familial love taking the spot in others ...in fact bash me but I think HJP became a much more likeable character becoz of the fact that you could sympathize with him for not getting what he wanted which also gave a chance for his and grandmas beautiful supportive relation to shine !!!

Okay at no point did I find Do Sans character unlikable ..in fact he slowly grew on me with the show and came off as a very likeable character..this coming from a person who started d drama for Kim Seon Ho!!!

Exactly my point !! Yes those letters meant a lot to her ..but it was more of a teenage girl's fantasy love ..like imagine how idiotic it would be if you start feeling for someone and one day you get to know okay so this other person whom you don't have any romantic feelings for wrote letters to you 15 years back so the solution? let me re-incline my feelings to like him now even though I don't feel that way about him after meeting and spending time with him on several occasions in the past ...😂...

it's the loser BL dramas for me !! 😂😂...I'm a recent Asian shows fan precisely from last year ...was obsessed with BLs but also a big fan of Kdramas !! would recommend A tale of a thousand stars ...but I feel you would have watched it already

I actually found him quite well suited for the role!! I mean he made me hate him at times which is all the signs of a good actor 🤣..but I can see why you would feel that way as he might not be everyone's cup of tea!!!
