This was a very well done first episode. I already have a feel for the main leads! I already feel like they're my friends and I understand how they tick. Yoon Hye Jin says she doesn't want to help or deal with people's problems, but she does want to help. She loves it and she doesn't want her patients to have to deal with huge bills they can't afford. She also can't abide a bully. And so much more. I adore her, even if she screams at a cricket. Hong Doo Shik clearly takes care of everyone in his town as Chief Hong. He's a jack of all trades it seems and I wonder if he's more . . . like the towns official mayor or something? Yoon Hye Jin lost her mom young and I think is looking for that family connection. It broke my heart hearing her dad's new wife tell him he's cold. Then once he realized that she was calling on her mother's birthday he didn't reach back. Hong Doo Shik lost his dad young, and I'm assuming his mom wasn't in the picture. There's more there. The town and it's residents are clearly going to be major characters and I already love what we're shown. It feels a lot like the setup for the gown and people in Gilmore Girls. I'm super excited to get to know everyone better. Not to mention the town is so beautiful. The scenery!!! I will say I was super disappointed in Yoon Hye Jin for leaving her super expensive shoes alone on the beach. Hong Do Shik might be on to something. She is a bit clueless. Or maybe doesn't always think things through. Like the fact that her phone had already started working! Well I'm in! I can't wait!

So I had a slip of the brain and thought there was 5 more episodes to go!!! LOL! My mind was racing and thinking that this drama was gonna lose steam. Oops. I have noticed quite a few more dramas going for 12 episodes instead of 16 or 20. Which is good. So the most important question did it end well? Yes!Every character was addressed and I think karma was served. I love a tight ending. Better yet an HEA one. One that lets us see full circle how much the FL and ML have fallen for each other. So good!!!! I enjoyed this drama so much for what it was and appreciated the intense ending, laughs, and all the sweet and beautiful moments. Yeah, it was a bit choppy, but that's okay. I didn't want to compare use my episode reviews to compare this to Marry My Husband. But honestly Marry My Husband story and plot wise is superior. (Which I'll probably break down more in my official overall review.) However, I loved Perfect Marriage Revenge for what it was and what it brought to the table. Skinship! JK. Kind of.

Finally!!! Finally Xing Yun knows about it all! This is why Xia Ke should have just told Xing Yun the truth!!! Keeping secrets to protect her was the stupidest thing ever. Chu Nan was even more despicable than I had imagined!!! Honestly I don't think I could ever cheer him on. Yao Qing and her son deserve better. So much better. To seriously hurt an innocent girl. Especially someone as innocent as Xing Yun. I don't care that he said he was having some thoughts. The fact that he just kept leading her on, while stalking another woman! Not to mention having her try on wedding dresses while saying he wasn't pressuring her. This was a pretty cute episode where Xia Ke actually did a lot of good things. Adorable and sweet things! Things that were softening me to this man child. Just sadly he ruined it all by not telling Xing Yun the truth. I get that they are both super inexperienced. Props to Xing Yun for helping out her fellow woman on her period! Bravo.

Okay. Wow things are really moving!! I was so surprised how things went down with Jung Hye. Like she was defeated so easily. I mean she wasn't, but it wrapped up swiftly. Yoo Ra's arc is definitely something. Bravo. Though towards the end of the episode I was so surprised with the jump and where they're were at. I'm happy that Do Guk finally has to admit that he time traveled as well, but it felt so forced and anticlimactic. It was also interesting that Yi Joo finally decided to take them both to the fortunateller to see what they need to do about the time travel. So there was that. It felt weird how it went down with Jung Hye, but also Jung Wook. It's odd. Especially now that Jung Wook may have kidnapped Yi Joo. I'm worried that this is episode 11 and there's still 5 left. I'm really confused how the story is gonna go forward. I'm nervous!!! That said: Skinship!!!!! Kissing! Yah!

I'm still very much enjoying this drama. I'll say that Marry My Husband is definitely the better of the two, but only because I feel like Perfect Marriage Revenge drops characters and plots. Like we're done with Se Hyeok and his family. They're gone! Not to mention that we're not getting any info on the time travel. Like Yi Joo is kind of worried about it, but not enough. I guess though this time travel is just easy breezy. Overall a lot happens and the plots are piling up. I just can't believe that Yi Joo makes herself such an easy target! Eyeroll!

It must of been in the back of Yi Joo's mind that Jung Hye, EVIL MOTHER, couldn't have been that evil. However, realizing that Jung Hye attempted to kill her 2 times was a reality destroyer. To also realize the extent of it was crazy. Not to mention my over plotting in the last episode was 100% right! Dang I'm good. ^_-This episode kept it coming. The battles. The constant jockeying for position. This is a battle between Yi Joo and Jung Hye is serious business. It's intense and I'm here for it! I'm very proud of Grandfather Han Woon Jae! Not to mention that Kim Jae Won must truly be on Yi Joo's side. I feel like there's a reveal there. Or should be. Now can I have a moment of awe and appreciation for Kim Jae Won. The man is fine and I feel like he's going to be getting ML in another drama soon. That end of the episode walk in was life. Things are really coming to a head. With this much plotting a drama can easily lose itself. I'm so happy that the pacing has been perfect and the writers don't forget to give us little perfect moments with Yi Joo and Do Guk. I'm so happy with this drama. And now I'm super curious what came first. Perfect Marriage Revenge or Marry My Husband. Just because I've enjoyed both so much.

This episode was a bit more sluggish for me. Simply because there's a lot to cover, but I thought Yi Joo got to cocky. Which seemed odd because the baddies got in some good punches. I'm happy that she seems to accept that she's falling in love with Do Guk. Though I can't believe she doesn't believe that he loves her, but I guess I can. Everyone who should have loved her unconditionally has betrayed her. But even she can't deny being able to eat Do Guk cooking with complete faith and trust. The evil mom did get the upper hand where Yi Joo was trying to gain control of the company it's odd that Kim Jae Won [Jung Hye's secretary] is still firmly on her side. I thought Jae Won would go straight to evil mom or at least be pretending to help Yi Joo. Then surprise betray her. Either way this episode had a lot to unpack. I also think the chef has a bigger connection than all this. I'm wondering if I missed out on who Yi Joo's real mom is. I feel like it's gonna be the cook. However, I wonder if the cook is just the woman who supposedly died in the fire and that the EVIL MOTHER had a hand in that and was gunning for Yi Joo's dad from the get go. Imagine all of this as one gaint scheme are something. Though I think I'm going way too far. Just me seeing a huge big plot cause I like it crazy like that. To the EVIL MOTHER. Well played. Though poor Yoo Ra is just a silly little fool. Her plans backfired fast! I have to give props to Se Hyeok for stepping up. Though sadly only when he realized that Yoo Ra used and betrayed him, not to mention she showed him her true colors but he still had to see that nail in the coffin. I think Yoo Ra burned herself good.

Huh, Se Hyeok is . . . interesting. Honestly I thought he wouldn't be in this drama this much after she dumped him. Then I realized he was a ML! Top cast listing. The boy is clearly shaken. He's realizing that Yoo Ra might be coo-coo. He's clearly never seen the crazy side of her before, but of course Yoo Ra's life was perfect before. It's interesting that he chose to break into Do Guk and Yi Joo's house. As if Yoo Ra's insanity prompted him to do something crazy, something he kept telling himself was wrong, but kept going through with it. I'm wondering what was in the envelope? It didn't show him sharing it with in anyone, but clearly Yoo Ra and Jung Wook had it. I mean the contract couldn't have suddenly changed Se Hyeok's mind and swayed him like this. Could it? I feel like there's more! I thought it was the paternity test. Overall the progression of this episode had some very key points. Yi Joo ate without thinking!!!! I was so happy! she also says out loud that she loves Do Guk! She can't really lie, or isn't good at it! I loved them being playful too. She is falling in love and I wanted it to be noted she ate food Do Guk made! This episode ends with the Queen's of the family meeting up and it gives me chills that Do Guk's mom is firmly on Yi Joo's side. Though it was a twist to see that Do Guk's parents fight over having favorite children. I truly want to know what happened in the past with Jung Wook. Man this drama just keeps amping things up!!! Brilliant. It was also cool to see Kim Jae Won [Jung Hye's secretary] being swayed to Yi Joo's side. Maybe her even noticing the painting he liked helped. Not to mention that she's the real blood daughter. I hope he doesn't toss her under the bus. I think he's realizing that Yi Joo won't destroy him.

All right. The gush:
The skinship!!! Not to mention a big reveal with it. DRAMAS! It was so freaking good. Do Guk revels that he is in and that he doesn't care if Yi Joo can't love him. He doesn't mind being the one all in and being at a "disadvantage". That moment and when he then confessed being unable to wait anymore. Phew!!!!!That being said it was all tempered by sadness. Yi Joo is not happy. It hurts because that loser, Se Hyeok, was right. He's winning because Yi Joo is miserable. Also, he slept with Yoo Ra. That lucky dog. It also revealed Yoo Ra character. Going to her sister's wedding pictures in white. Than sleeping with a man she didn't want, but soon after keeps with her plans to get Jung Wook. Whom she imediately shows her weak hand to and it's true, the girl can't maneuver with out other people helping her. Yi Joo is really making moves her. Finding out her evil mom is selling her work over seas, but clever girl not only finds out but two prong weaponizes it!! Woot! She even makes a brilliant movie with her Grandfather. I'm glad she's decided to confirm the big reveal of whom her father is with a paternity test. But you can see this whole episode it was kind of the final blow. Where she realizes that she doesn't want to let anyone in. She doesn't want to be hurt ever again. Wow! this dramas is really turning out to be so awesome!!!!!

Powerful episode. I was starting to really wonder about that TWIST that was finally revealed at the end of the episode. I kept wondering who the the real child was or that there would be some kind of twist surrounding it. Boy, didn't expect that and there's still more to be revealed. This is also a powerful episode in revealing that Yi Joo is so freaking miserable and unhappy. I almost deducted a star just for that! Especially when Se Hyeok gets on his high horse and says he's the one who should be upset. Dick, however he wasn't wrong in being so happy in her misery. This was a huge episode! So much going on. More importantly it might be that Do Guk remembers the car crash. There was no way that he wasn't the one in the car she hit, but I've been wondering if he remembers it and was reborn to? This episode was HUGE!! Too much going on to put all down. New allies are happening!!!! Holy Drama!

I knew it!!!! Seo Do Guk is out to wifey up Han Yi Joo for real-zies! It broke my heart to have Han Yi Joo putting up a line again. Even though Seo Do Guk keeps showing that he cares. Not to mention that he wants more! He even asked her "what if I want this to be a real marriage?" Holy drama! The cruelty of it all! I know she's worried about what will happen when the 1 year is up, but dang!!!! Not to mention that all of the family dramas and ulterior motives are coming out. Jae Won is an interesting character. I thought in the first episode that he had feelings for Yi Joo, but then he was tossing her under the bus. However, he's been liking the new Yi Joo. Espeically after she said she can change and be whomever she wants. And that now he's thinking about changing to Yi Joo's side.Crazy!!!! I really want to know what happened in the past with Seo Do Guk's brother. It seems like it's gonna be dark. Like older brother did something and is now making his younger brother pay. All family members of both families are scheming! Not to mention I'm disappointed that Yi Joo keeps going behind Do Guk's back. Making deals to get him back into the family business and such. Anywho! That ending. Line crossed and all.

The important things! That "I love you" from Seo Do Guk was real. He wants her. Whatever it is that she can't remember he's wanted her since. I need that flashback now!!!!! Because that "staged kiss" was not staged. I mean it served his purposes too. But he meant it. This fast just diving in there's no way he'd just commit like that. He wants Han Yi Joo. I loved that he wanted an assertive woman and how much he's listening. How much is is seriously taking care of her. I suppose it's Han Yi Joo's naïvety from before. She can't see that he's seriuos. That it's more than business. She couldn't even fathom actually talking to him to get to know him, but she dated! She almost got married . . . makes me wonder how that all went. The flashback was just mainly about her putting her own wants out there and projecting on to her ex. So I give her props for noticing that Yoo Se Hyeok (I think that's her exe)'s mom was up to something, but I can't believe it didn't register to her that filming is probably what the show was for. I was so heartbroken for her when she didn't say "you're son lied to me he loves my sister and you were all using me! You all lied to me!!!" Han Yi Joo will get there. I believe in my girl! Okay, the cooking class echoed Marry My Husband, but I wonder if this is an actual trope? Or something I've missed out on. Either way that's funny. I am appreciating how much this is separate from Marry My Husband. Not to mention that it clearly does not follow the same time travel rules and that is very much a mystery. Speaking of . . . what happened to Han Yi Joo' s grandfather and why did he want forgiviness? OOOOOOOOOOOO. Han Yi Joo handled herself so well meeting Soe Do Guk's mom! I feel like she's off to a good start, especially with Seo Do Guk being able to sleep with her around. There's drama in the that family to that we need the dirt on. It was very interesting at the end that it's the two mothers who are the real power and their husbands just role their eyes at each other. It's like they both realized they're wives had the bigger dicks and they were not dealing with anyone but the mom's of power.

9.0/10 - Bringing the fire!!!!

This drama is bringing it!!! Already I can see it's ready to stand on it's own! Han Yi Joo isn't gonna take what happened lightly. She's not blind and she's seeing all the wrongs! REVENGE!!! Yes, girl. I mean her mother literally pulled the plug, not to mention that we learn she was poisoned in her own home. I was thinking from episode 1 that Seo Do Guk knows Yi Joo. Though now it's super clear as she approaches him for her plans. I just couldn't believe the chemistry the two have and how their stories are already progressing. OMG! That kiss and how he is clearly in to her. She thinks it's just about the money and partnership. He's in though. He is in. I want this reveal to happen now!Man! This was such an amazing second episode! I'm in!! Normally I don't say that until episode 4. However, I have to see how it all goes down. Getting to meet all the player is interesting. Not only to see more and more how abusive Yi Joo's family is. The thing is when you're being abused it's hard to see. Especially if that's all you've known. It was so interesting seeing evil mother's POV. Like she couldn't understand someone who cared. To see her daughter afraid to eat food, and to find out later she was poisoned and that's probably why. I'm also wondering what they were medicating her with!!! Dang this drama is bringing it!

6.0/10 - Solid start.

So this sounds a lot like a certain other drama, Marry My Husband. However, all of the instagram scenes are telling me a different story and it looks absolutely amazing! It's not the most intense first episode, it's setting things up. Or maybe it's just I know that her family are evil. So everything that happens just feels like a check list. however, as things keep going you fully realize that her adopted family are probably are narcissists. Especially that mother! It's a solid start and that ending man!!! Phew!!!!!!!

Comas are not something I like, but it was good seeing that Sakura was even more determined. But still it's awesome! to watch them fall even more in love.
