9.0/10 - Pretty fabulous.

Darn it! Soo Jin is trying to be a good person. She made up with Joo Kyung. Letting her know she's had a crush on Soo Ho in the past, but it's a passing thing. It wasn't like Soo Jin didn't know. She just started to go down the darker road to jealousy and needing to prove that she can get Soo Ho. The darkness of competing for number one has gotten for her. With Joo Kyung's old friend spying on her and Soo Jin putting the pieces together it's gonna be the ultimate test for Soo Jin. My girl is really gonna have to decide. I hope she will choose the right. Cause I'm worried about her. It's the only thing holding this episode back. Oh, and I know that Ahn Hyun Kyu realized that Soo Ho had a girl in the room. What a good friend. I wonder if he knows who it is though?I like that Joo Kyung made up with Soo Ho. Also, that she was brave enough to tell Soo Jin the truth. Not to mention to tell her that she doesn't want to loose they're Womance!!! There was some serious stuff here. Some truths and plenty of deep drama! It's so great how the writers were able to not drag the whole episode down under the heavy wieght of it all and to keep the humor going. Especially with Seo Joon. He may have lost the leading leady, but he's a bright spot in this drama. Seo Joon and Soo Ho had such adorable scenes!!! So cute!!! Seo Joon was adorable with his sister, family, and friends. It's so cruel that I am team Joo Kyung and Soo Ho all the way, but I have such horrid second lead syndrome too!!!! I give props to Soo Ho's dad stepping up and taking responsibility. Though Soo Jin steals some of the sweetnes from Soo Ho and Joo Kyung's kiss as she looks like she's got some dark ideas brewing in her mind.

8.0/10 - Awesome

Holy dramas that cliffhanger!!!!!! That's just cruel!!!!! It's madness.I felt like this episode was madness. It had such cute and funny moments, but was going down some plots that I am so sad about!Backing up first. Let's address that Joo Kyung was the one to run and grab a weapon. She was ready to protect her man with the cooking pot of power! Go girl!!!!!!!! I love how angry her dad was, but her dad was so easily bought later on. Not to mention that Soo Ho and Seo Joon duke it out in front of Joo Kyung's parents. The look on her parents face when they realize that both men are fighting for her. Then that whole toe nail cutting scene after the fight! Wow! But then . . . Soo Jin is weaponizing Joo Kyung's friendship. Soo Jin came in swinging. First tossing out that her dad hits her to Joo Kyung. As if the fear of losing a friend isn't terrifying enough for Joo Kyung. I don't want Soo Jin to be so dastardly. She more than doubled down though!!! It was so calculating it broke my heart. The final step is for Soo Jin to spill the beans about Joo Kyung's looks. Or maybe it will turn out positive and she'll remember that they're friends. One can hope. This episode struck a sweet balance as the Lim siblings struggle with love and other factors in their lives. I Just adore how much this drama keeps the side characters and stories going. So sweet. But boy is it digging in. Soo Jin is turning into a horrible person. Soo Ho's dad . . . . is a slime. Which we knew, but apparently it's way scarier than I thought it was. AND THEN!!!! Both Soo Ho and Seo Joon are in peril. OMG. I'm afraid!!! So afraid. Because I think Joo Kyung just broke up with Soo Ho!!!!!!!!! I'm so glad she's sticking up for herself, but it's all because of a miscommunication!!!!!

8.0/10 - Awesome.

This drama has turned out to be so much fun and I just love the characters. I'm finding as I become a more seasoned Drama fan that the dramas that are more substantial flesh out their characters. Both ML, side characters, and relationships that all of those characters have too. How they connect to each others' lives and so on. True Beauty is doing such a great job with that. I mean this drama already has such an adorable couple! Choi Soo Ah and Yoo Tae Hoon are such an adorable character. I just love them. But I love the friendships they have with the Leads. Yoo Tae Hoon giving advice to Lee Soo Ho! It's adorable how upset Yoo Tae Hoon is at Lee Soo Ho. He's so angry that his best buddy didn't make the moves and is now gonna suffer. Kang Soo Jin is clearly an amazing person. She loves her friends and her care for Lim Joo Kyung is so sweet. Which is gonna make things so heartbreaking when she cracks under the pressure. It's coming. She's only human.I just love all the characters and how they're interacting. Not to mention everyone's romances. Lim Joo Kyung's siblings are having their own romances, though they're in the slumps right now. It's almost painful to watch the brother, Lim Joo Young, romance. To me his crush has it wrong. Lim Joo Young isn't boring. He's self absorbed. I love that the sister, Lim Hee Kyung, has been in the more manly role with her relationship with teacher dearest. Though she did go to far when she was trying to stake her claim. Overall this episode was another fabulous entry into what is a very solid show. The character development and growth is so amazing! I'm in heaven!~!!! Lim Jae Pil is such a weird papa. It's interesting seeing Joo Kyung's parents favorite children. Parents have favorites. Jae Pil sees the struggles of his daughter and sympathizes with her more. While mommy dearest spoils her good looking children. I'm so proud of Joo Kyung for going out and saving for her dream. It made me so happy for her to realize what she wanted to do, and to go for it. Never thinking to burden her parents, or to even take Soo Ho up on his offer to simply give her the money. Ahhhh. Though I am super annoyed with papa Lim Jae Pil. That man ruined what could have been another awesome kiss. Can I address how bad I have second lead syndrome here? Poor Han Seo Joon. The problem is that no matter how much I feel for him and his plight. Lee Soo Ho is that rare first lead. He's not a jerk, he's not cold, and instead he is sweet and has so much depth to him. Even papa Lim Jae Pil tells him that hes "actually really sweet". So it makes it even more brutal for Han Seo Joon because I am very much behind Lee Soo Ho. Wow. I hope that the story will let Han Seo Joon and Kang Soo Jin develop into something. I think they have something there. Or at least could if things were to go that way. I hope they do. Anywho. I am so enamored by this drama!

7.0/10 - Very good.

I mean it! If this ends up all to be just a dream I am not going to be pleases! I want this do over to be real!!!!! First off let us address how adorable it is that Lu Xun has clearly fallen for Qian Wei, but she's clueless! Honestly I think he liked her in the original timeline, but she didn't know and he is too rude. So they're both clueless. This episode was a blast! I had so much fun! The entire cast is awesome! Not to mention that I'm getting that female friendship in full force right now. It's magic. Pure magic. I love Qian Wei's brother and that the romance their could not escape fate. Qian Wei's endless jabber was hilarious, but went a bit too far. I got a wee bit annoyed. It's really fun seeing how the past went and how much she's changing. Not focusing on romance is apparently key. Legally Romance has just entered a bingeable state. I want to keep going!!!!

6.0/10 - Promising.

Okay, I couldn't figure out what was really bothering me about that first episode. Then it hit me: No female friends. So I'm happy that there's some female friendship introduced. Though it doesn't seem like poor Qian Wei had any time for anything except basically kissing Lu Xun bum. I will say when Qian Wei gets her second chance it's fun seeing what she would change about the past. I like that she wanted to save that girl from the embarrassment of the wet white dress. It also breaks my heart to think that all those kids would take photos and post it. Also, why didn't some on try to offer her something to cover up?The quirky humor is wonderful. I also love seeing Qian Wei just letting everyone have it. Her second time around she ain't having it. It also seems that coma-dreamland versions of both ML like her that way. What I don't like about the idea that this is a coma-dreamland is that if Lu Xun redeems himself there and becomes desirable, that's all fake. So if Qian Wei wakes up and has had this whole fake relationship with Lu Xun it's gonna suck. Though I'm getting the vibe that Lu Xun has had his sights set on Qian Wie and who wants to guess what's on his paper in the little bottle? Hmmmmmm? The biggest thing for me was watching Qian Wie save her father. I feel that. I feel it so much.Overall I think the writing and the story is really coming along in this epsidoe. So many laugh out loud moments and I really like the cast of college friends. Not to mention the hairline jokes. I know mine has thinned with age!!! Very promising so far!

5.0/10 - Average.

As first episodes go this was a pretty easy one. A lot of setup, and a few too many time lines. We get to see the past a bit with Qian Wei and each ML. There's some good "otherly" filter going on. So that we know that the past is happening. Where Li Chong Wen makes sweet promises to Qian Wei and where Lu Xun is a jerk and watches Qian Wei, literally, falls as he upstages her. And he does it again and again.Which than shows later on that when Qian Wei yet again literally falls that Lu Xun doesn't stop her from falling. Instead Li Chong Wen is reaching for her. Even after his harsh betrayal. It makes me so sad that both ML kind of suck at this point. Lu Xun is 100% unlikable. Not to mention that hair. Just. No. Oh, and let's talk about this phone tracking. Is Qian Wei even aware it's happening? Did she give consent to this? Hmmmm? I guess he treats everyone terrible and talks terrible to his other partner at the firm, but still. Yikes! While Li Chong Wen looks so suave with his hair, his betrayal is cold. It makes me so said for Qian Wei. So far neither ML is worthy. The synopsis that she is gonna end up in a coma where she's in a dream reality, instead of actually having an alternative time change makes me sad. I want it to be real. Or maybe it will be and the synopsis is wrong. So far a solid, if boring, start. Which isn't anything to be worried about.

8.0/10 - Awesome.

Basically went in blind with this one. All I truly knew was that my beloved Kim Yoo Jung is the lead. I love Kim Yoo Jung so much that I suffered through episodes of Golden Rainbow for. In the past I will follow Kim Yoo Jung. Sadly not all her dramas are for me. My Demon starts of really great. The introduction of our demon, Jung Koo Won, is super fun. What I didn't expect was that Do Do Hee (Kim Yoo Jung) is basically a corporate demon. So a demon of hell and a demon of earth are soon tossed up against each other. Jung Koo Won has no idea what is happening to him when Do Do Hee mistakes him for her blind date. Let me tell you, it's glorious. Jung Koo Won is actually shaken by her. Do Do Hee is actually made to blush. So things are off to a great start. Visually this episode is top notch. The cast so far is pretty amazing and the character introduced so far are fun. The stereotypical Grandma not so much, but all the side characters are awesome. The setup is intriguing. I'm already trying to figure out how this is all gonna work. Clearly a rule has been broken by Jung Koo Won saving Do Do Hee without getting a contract. I'm sure Hell is not pleased.

Well this was interesting. Officer Min Woo Won's father clearly played a role in his Father-in-Law's shame. Thus leading to his wife taking her life. She even clearly begged Officer Min Woo Won's father to help. Goodness that was hard to watch. But everything felt very off. Rushed. Incomplete. Odd. One hand Goo Hae Ryung and Prince Dowon just did this silly little non-confession. By not saying much they've confirmed to each other that they like one another. It's adorable. But frustrating. It's sweet that Officer Min Woo Won could not say Goo Hae Ryung first name. However, that didn't confirm that she was going to help him. Or what? Min Woo Won clearly is gonna start catching the feels for Goo Hae Ryung. But for her to suddenly be spying on the Emperor and Min Woo Won's father seems very . . . . off. So choppy. I mean a killer cliffhanger. Off though.

This picks up right in the adorable rain scene. Everything is adorable!!! Until Master of Yes, Song Sa Hee's father, does something naughty again. Like forging where people he has appointed to positions are from. Like a true self centered greedy person deflect the drama to someone else. Officer Min Woo Won is tossed under the bus. His tragic past brought up again. Boy, it's a shocker. And I wonder how much HIS father had to do with it. If that's why he hates his dad so much?

6.0/10 - Puts a smile on my face.

Oh, dear lord. First off that is the funniest thing watching these historians get so excited to read a lovers fight and then freak out about what to do with the record. Brilliant. Secondly WTF Crown Prince!!!! To want to protect her by having it stricken from the record so "this version" isn't on display for others of the future to see. When I think it's a valid point. It's a woman saying because of these stupid men in my life making choices I have to way burdens that are not my doing. LISTEN!!!! Get that woman impregnated. Or at least give her friendship and explain why you don't want to put a bun in that oven! Ah, the obligatory rain scene. Of course, lovely.Overall a fun and cute episode. It sucks constantly wishing there was more, but I like that it puts a smile on my face.

5.0/10 - Back to the checklist.

Crap, we're back the the checklist of boring this that drama viewers NEED to watch. *sighs* After the last episode I was just expecting so much MORE! I wanted more. Instead all the plots are on a back burner and it's just. Just. Back to watching the pretty scenery and the cuteness of out two leads. *sighs* It's just . . . not what I thought this drama would be. Points need to be given for the book date. Darn Prince Dowon knows the way to a bookworms heart!! "Need to stay up late? I've got books sexy lady." *wink* Now I'm going to be waiting for a man who doesn't exist to give me a book date of my dreams. The only other thing of note is Crown Prince Yi Jin wife popping up. Boy is she awesome and she's taking names! Or at least letting him know his actions have negativily affected her and she needs a baby in the oven years ago. I'm very curious to her character and what's going to happen. Especially since Song Sa Hee [Historian] and Crown Prince have kind of been eyeing each other. Hmmmmmmm.

8.0/10 - Best episode yet.

This is the best episode yet! It reminds me of the promise of the first 4. This brings back the epicness of the story and the power of knowledge. Gosh!!!!! I wish the story could be more like this.

Prince Dowon is so enchanted with Goo Hae Ryung! Ha-ha!!! So adorbs. It was very interesting seeing the Prince Dowon's fear of the treatment. I loved the way he learned and changed his mind. It's a very interesting idea how it's okay to believe i the heavens, but not other "absurd" things. Reminds me a lot of Claire from Outlander (a TV show from a series of books) that has her medical stuff was so crazy and it seems so practical and smart to us. I'm convinced that Officer Min Woo Won's hate of Historian's mucking with things is because of his father. The job he singed up for isn't to mess with affairs and be self serving. However, I think he should see as historians they can see the history of actions. Help the people in their own way. It broke my heart the way he talked to Goo Hae Ryung! I hope he has an arc that helps him out of that negative mindset. I really feel like this drama can go places. It's just needs a little push. Though clearly we'll be introduced with secret pasts for both out main leads. Oh, it's coming.

All right we got into things a bit more. So proud of the Prince! Going from not even knowing to tell the officials to sits to finding out the truth about the epidemic and making them go to ground zero. Also, Goo Hae Ryung is smart. Phew! He is doing what he can to work his position. Instead of telling Min Ik Pyung [Second state Councillor] where Mo Hwa [Female physician] truly lives. He doesn't lie, but says she's in the province that the epidemic is. Which she is. What an ending! Not to mention that Song Sa Hee, the spy historian, might actually be in A REAL SIDE STORY ROMANCE! With Crown Prince Yi Jin! It was so creepy before with this hand thing she did, but now I might be ready to by it. If it's her redemption story. Clearly we're up for the obligatory sick episodes were all the leads are gonna get small pox. Prince Dowon, Goo Hae Ryung, and Officer Min Woo Won. The writers made it clear they all have not had small pox. Even cleverly making a joke about Officer Min Woo Won not having it yet. Good one. Overall I feel like this drama is on the cusp of being really good. It's just pacing and the fact that it wants to be more, but clearly is only reaching for pretty to look at and cute.

6.0/10 - Very cute, but no depth.

Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung is visually stunning, and adorable. It throws in dashes of serious topics and intrigue, but lacks any depth. The slow pace and basic trope is not where I thought the first 8 episodes were taking us (first 4 episodes if you're lumping them in hours like I think Netflix does) . Which is beyond disappointing. I thought this drama was gonna bring in some serious conversations about IMPORTANT topics. And give us a female lead we the viewers deserve. Yet again she's watered down to make her . . . the same. Just enough "what a woman shouldn't be" flavored by drama writing that takes it all away so she's . . . subservient . . . or at least cowed and put in her place when she needs her proper reminders. This episode does well better to show that she understands what the men in her life expect of her. Though she's clueless about the Prince's feelings. Who knew we'd get some beach frolicking and hand holding. Still bored though.
