Agree. Dissecting Wichai's character makes me wonder, what is the screenwriter trying to make Wichai out to be. If this version of Wichai is the screenwriter's definition of perfect, idk what to say. All I can say atm is I need character development from him, but there's a chance this might get brush under the rug. Wichai needs a slight mindset change regarding Anong and how he deals with his emotions towards her.
I actually like the drama haha but I have a feeling the next few eps will be quite frustrating. I like internal…
Finally finished the last few minutes that I missed. It is definitely setting up problem in their ways. The BGM isn't helping. Everyone is looking down on Anong's lifestyle. Can I still believe in Khun pra? lol

Saying he doesn't understood her at all is on point. It really seem like he doesn't. This, like you said, may put internal conflict in their relationship. But it all depend on how good the writing is as we have passed the novel. Everything now is up to screenwriter and production. But Anong is so understanding toward Wichai though. She may end up being the one keeping this relationship together.
That's my same exact reaction: huhhh
--- edit --- Just as I posted this, I remembered someone said she was happy with the ending in the novel but wasn't fully convinced he's in love, in love with her. It's giving off the similar vibe: she loves him more.
“you are like a display window” ??? “When you were sad you had to decorate it like you were happy because…
Once again bring in the novel as comparison. It was said Wichai bought her lipstick as a gift because he saw that she likes it. Here, the drama is taking it a bit too far. He is criticizing her for it.... and in the novel, he didn't like her until the end. Here, he likes her but made those judgement about her.
I felt betrayed when he asked "aren't you waiting for Chat?" like aren't we over this conversation already????????
Chat is such a man child and I low key am annoyed with khun pra when he lectured anong as if she was some vengeful…
From what I got from the novel, Wichai is mr-perfect-who-never-loses-his-temper. What I have been seeing in the drama, he is not like that at all. He does some lecturing, preaching, venting, etc. Ig we can say he is more human this way...? At first I kind of like that; but as it continues, I start to feel that it pulls him away from being "1 in 100". If the screenwriter is smart enough, adding some character development for the new flaws she added to him would be great.
Anong once said, like a judge, Wichai doesn't like to make quick judgement. He just did that today. He lectured her before he confirmed the truth. Another human side??? But that goes against what he have said earlier, he must put reasons before his emotions.....
Not only that, everyone (only two guys) seems to be pointing fingers at Anong, even that guy who seems to be the other sister's husband. Like how much did he know about her? He just got introduced recently and is already adding onto the drama.
I have said this drama writing is not perfect. The screenwriter knows how to write sweet scenes (or maybe credit should be given to the director), but I will have to see what she have for the rest of the story to make judgement on her writing. (And slightly give her benefit of the doubt due to the cut down.)
I actually like the drama haha but I have a feeling the next few eps will be quite frustrating. I like internal…
That will depend on how good of a screenwriter this writer is. If the writer can tackle those internal conflict, this may end up climbing my list of good thai lakorn. As of now, I'm just enjoying what's given and criticizing what I don't like.

I'm quite the opposite. I like external conflict because it's the test of their love and bond. But that's just me. I'm all in for stable love which I don't think a lot of people are in for. But it depend on how annoying the external conflict is too.
Watched it live today. So good. Totally redeemed yesterday's episode. I was smiling throughout the episode. Minus the drama, but it got me excited. Sucks the live died on me in the last 2-3 minutes.
There are a number of viewers asking for the uncut version. They should do it like GMMTV. They aired the cut version…
The changed happened during early covid cuz it put a halt on filming productions. They don't have a lot of drama on shelf, so they made them shorter to last longer. I remembered skimming a lakorn during that time and it was so boring. Like you said, they are long and full of fillers. Making it short showed the flaws of bad pacing and script writing.
I like that drama are now shorter in duration because it forces writer to write better script. At the same time, what they need to bring in viewers is good production and script writing, not cutting down a drama that add details into each scene like this one. It was said that this is the first drama to have that implemented (the cut down). I don't mind if they cut out fillers but if they cut down on important part of a story, it doesn't make the transition smooth. 😞 Such a bummer.
I dont believe that the mum will continue to be so nice and understanding through out the series. I think in the…
Yes, with that line, I hope there will be more development. She need to do some self-redeeming and self-reflection. Still can't imagine what she will be like once Wichai get together with Anong as he is now the new "beloved" son.
This drama truly dragged me out of the lakorn grave. I’ve not watched one in years and damnnnn honestly I wasn’t…
There are a number of viewers asking for the uncut version. They should do it like GMMTV. They aired the cut version on TV and released the uncut version on Youtube, even one31 does something similar. Ch3 need to step up their game a bit.
Ironic how they implemented this plan because they want to call back viewers to watch TV; but they are cutting down drama that viewers enjoy.
Ep 9 and 10 took me so long to finish because I keep pausing. I'm glad I decided not to catch it live. Not a lot happen but a lot to process and the development isn't up to par. What's saving this episode is Wichai reading Anong's "love letters" and partially Chat "growing up" and saying he will repay Wichai so Wichai won't feel that his life is wasted. And yes at this point, Wichai is deluding himself to believe that Anong likes Chat.
Funny how someone joked that "kiss scene" that everyone is waiting for might not be this week but rather next week and another joked that it might be Thursday instead of today. They are correct it is not today.

This is not what I want to hear from a mother who never cared for him. If you think he's overworking, if you think he isn't taking care of himself, you should have been the one to take care of him.

Mother is acknowledging that Wichai is too kind????!!! FR???? Like have she ever noticed that????? If she have why haven't she treat him nicely????? 🙄🙄 The writing. I am trying to understand this writing.
One thing I don't like about Thai drama is that they are too force on turning a bad character good in a blink…
Trains of thought breaking in. I was generalizing a bit. Tailah and Hiran getting over their hurdle was also well done. Not perfect but simple and nicely done. At the end, all we need may be an apology and letting it go.
--- edit--- Though, Hiran also went through a turbulence before we get there. Ig that's what make acceptable. Wichai's mother went through no turbulence. She didn't even apologize. We barely get to see her inner emotion and whatnot. I can't accept this. Issue like this stop me in track and makes it hard for me to continue watching.
