Title The Fire Raven Spoiler
Got interest in this because of tidbits of Fang Tianyang. For those watching for Fang Tianyang, it is best to stop…
The movie would have end with a bang (slight cliffhanger). The story was stolen from him in that last 10 min. That was most likely part of the reshoot done because A Place Called Silent was a massive success. It would have been fine with me had Fang Tianyang not been the main character. I rarely like when a supposedly protagonist get sidelined.

To think he's a side character from one tidbit to finding out he's the main character to find out he was sidelined at the end. Can say that was a ride for me.

Title No Tail to Tell Spoiler
I love the cinematography. Keep noticing throughout the episode. As expected from director of Love to Hate You.I…
That intro had me thinking they might follow the little mermaid where she has to kill the man she love to return to a gumiho. There has been a lot of misleading intro just to hook viewers so leaving that open for now like how Eunho made the writer change the ending because she hate the sad ending.

I watched half an episode of Best Chicken and the dialogue was bad, acting was bad, so I have low expectation for this one; but it turned out pretty good. Unsure if it was the actors or the director who elevated this or the two screenwriters got better, or someone behind the scene helped with advising. That was a good start.

Department store girl is our second female lead from Dynamite Kiss! No wonder, I was like who's this pretty lady? She's only here as a guest so hope to see her in more roles in the future.

i dare you to drop it and not watch the rest of the episodes. Istg most people who complain about a drama early…
If you think I want attention, then don't give me the attention. This is a 4 days old comment, but you still give me a reply. If I'm looking for attention, I definitely succeeded. Go focus on something else. There are a lot of things for you to focus you energy on than complaining about another stranger complaining on the internet.

the soul swap is written in the synopsis
I did not say, I hate spoilers. You must have mistaken it from the person below. Body swap is the plot, not a spoiler. As the person below pointed out, it was on all the articles. Therefore, what I got was only half the information and that was on myself.

And not everyone come here to read drama synopsis. They can come here for drama discussion, after or while watching. People can say, let me give this drama a shot and it didn't turned out as expected because the story could have worked without the gimmick.

I'll add that, there are dramas that one can start watching without knowing anything and it turned out to be amazing. This one is just not one of those.

i also didnt realise there was a soul-swap in this plotline. I wish there was not any cuz i feel like the story…
The drama would have been fine without it, but it need something more than what was given in the first 3.5 episodes. Body swap was what they gave us. They could have gone a different route, but oh well.

Every single article about the show mentioned it. I didn’t know about the soul swapping until someone mentioned…
You're right, they did. I can't find the one I saw when it was announced, so I must have seen character description instead; since the one I saw was of hers alone but every articles was of both leads.

the soul swap is written in the synopsis
Synopsis. Not everyone read synopsis. And isn't teaser a part of marketing? Not telling viewers from that is...
---Addition:
Take Judge Returns for example, title Judge Returns hint he's returning. How? Making a comeback? Becoming a good guy? From the first teaser/trailer it showed main character returned to 10 years earlier and that happened in the second episode. The story idea is right upfront for everyone. And not just that, when casting news came out, it was already stated that the story is of main character dying and returning, which is the same with Moonriver; sageuk of Secret Garden.
On To My Beloved Thief Jan 12, 2026
The soul-swap caught many off-guard, not in a good way. I'm one of them too. I saw one teaser and the soul swap was not a part of it. They should have been straightforward about this so it doesn't take viewers by surprise. Moonriver was advertised as a sageuk Secret Garden from the get-go. This one, I was so not up-to-date with besides the fact that it was a female Hong Gildong. Even the title is My Beloved Thief. Nothing related to its fantasy hidden genre.

This drama doesn't seem to have a plot. Nothing interesting happened yet and we're already 4 episodes in. I started for Nam Jihyun, since it has been so long since I watched her drama. High chance I might dropped since the leads aren't doing much thus plot isn't progressing. Female lead only does petty theft and male lead is relatively passive. Maybe I'll give it another episode or week.
And where's the comedy? Good comedy can save weak plot and slow pacing.

Also what's the point of calling this a female Hong Gildong, if they're going to switch body? Doesn't that defeats the whole purpose of a "female" x and x?

I feel like there's no point in discussing this anymore. I'm over this drama. The writing sucks. There are other ways to deal with the mirror and the spring, yet the writer chose not to do that. The voice was literally right there with them and instead of asking for ways to deal with the mirror, the writer make the character seal himself for dramatic effect. mmm, yea, no thank you.

Peace was NOT achieved because the mirror was sealed. Peace was achieved because the king who was greedy for immortality died and the demon slay team was disbanded with possible influences from Bing Zhu. The new king has no greed for immortality, as of yet. Also the only human in the drama who want the spring was the king and it was because Dreamshard immortal told him so. Demons has become so weak not many can match up to Hong Ye, so there are ways to work around.
You also said the mirror pieces showed up to anyone who experienced the suffering. But if he can sealed within him, why can't it be sealed within something powerful outside of him???

Title The Unclouded Soul Spoiler
Xiao Yao was left practically alone, having to deal with the deep pain of loss and guilt. She was struggling to…
So I missed the part that she's reliving the memory without being able to change it, and what you just explained made it worse. Why relive it??? Makes no sense. A better ending would be trying to find ways to break his seal and bring him back. War is over. There's no need to punish himself. He's also so strong, he can be the guardian of the Kunlun Mirror.

Also there's an end to the array, so there's no need to show us of her going back to relive her memory. She will always have to return to reality. Why not face the truth head on? = Finding ways to bring him back.

Title The Unclouded Soul Spoiler
This whole drama makes no sense. What do you mean she goes back in time so she can see/be with him again? He chose to sacrifice himself so no one can have access to the Kunlun Mirror and now you're going back in time as if there wasn't war back then? Everything has settled already. The demon hunting sect was disbanded. Peace took place. Why do you want to go back all the way over there? Why not go back just enough to stop Hong Ye from sacrificing himself? Tell him a better future is waiting and that he doesn't have to sacrifice himself.
Someday or One Day already have the solution for you. Go back just enough to change the final outcome. Someday or One Day is great writing and this is WTF.

Why did the rating dropped so drastically?
Anyway rating aside, so far this is a good watch. Like everyone else, begging this not to take a nosedive later like Dynamite Kiss. This has an original source to follow, so there's hope.

I've read a few chapters of the webtoon, it was more straight to the point. Reckless but has its own fun. Here, they're already dragging out the future plot and first case. Not sure if I would like how this goes. Maybe I'll come back after a few episodes or if people start raving it.

My attention is elsewhere now, sorry Ji Sung.

Which drama of hou min ho is better Glory or unclouded soul Which should i watch ?
Seemed like people asked this question every now and then.
I'll give you a similar answer I give someone else.
This one had a slower start and then picked up pace while the other one had a pretty good start than staggered. The other one is an easier watch, but I have more complaint than compliment and have already started ffw the past few episodes. The slow pace made this slightly harder to watch and stay focused, I had to paused a few times throughout the earlier episodes, but as it is picked up pace around ep7 and the plot finally started moving, it got better. If the drama can maintain good pacing for the rest of the drama, this will come out as the better one.
I'll also say, if you're watching for an actor and can sit through 10-20 episodes (7-12 hrs) of slow plot then you can watch TUS; but if you're not then this might be the better choice.
But then also depend on how picky are you with your drama and storytelling. I'm on the pickier side.

How is this drama is it worth to watch? And im also confused which of neo hou's drama i should watch and which…
It will depend on what you like, but that other one seemed to have wasted the first half. The more interesting stuff seemed to be saved for the second half or even last third. While for this one, the first 5-6 didn't really work too well for me but it got better and hooked me by ep 12.

I personally like action-forward/plot-driven (with good written characters), so it will depend on what you like.

Ep12 was insane. I was wondering why I'm watching uninteresting dramas and need to find better drama to watch, but ep12 cliffhanger got my full attention. I'm in for the ride!
