I'm stuck halfway through episode 5, because spoiled, screechy woman just joined the investigation team. Seriously, does she take up a lot of screen time from now on? Because I don't think, I can deal. 🥺

It's the Steamy & Squishy show, and I finally got them back front and center.
Had the show only utilized this to the fullest, instead of wasting episode after episode on hot for Squishy green flag dude and teeth dude, while letting an inflated supporting cast of cardboard cutouts roll by on my screen babbling their boring as hell office drama lines. Oh well, one episode to go.
Take it home, Steamy & Squishy!

How nice of Akira not blocking the "attack". If he just flinched immediately and not a millisecond before impact, that would eliminate 65% of my irritation while watching this show.
The episode 9 ending didn't even affect me. Other than: oh, we have an attempted plot line.
Shoutout to Aloha for showing up out of nowhere looking so damn fine.

You're right her character isn't that interesting . Even if she shows up more it will seem forced.
Exactly. I had to think back on season 1, and what her purpose was compared to now. Even though she had more "to do" in season 1, I'm still left with the impression, that she was and is mostly a love interest. And yes, this is a huge waste of an actress and character. Especially now, when season 2 has introduced Woo Sam Soon, who gets way more screen time and is allowed to flex her professional skills and personality, while interacting with the rest of the cast. They could have done this for Seol. I was honestly expecting this due to how this season 2 kicked off. The love triangle in season 1 was fine, but personally I don't need a love line in this kind of show. The kind of banter Myung Pil has with Woo Sam Soon would suffice for me. With this season I feel like the show is juggling too many teams and characters. If they plan for a season 3, I'd prefer it, if they cut out some teams/characters. I'd be surprised if Seol was part of a season 3.

Whenever Song Seol isn't present.....well....I don't miss her.
I liked her in season 1, but in this one, I keep forgetting about her. As a main(?) character, she's faded completely into the background, and multiple supporting characters are more interesting.

😂🤣😂 I am SO glad I'm not the only person that was distracted by Simeon's and Baby Jun's top teeth, because…
😂 I thought I was alone on this Island, and now I see the comment section is overflowing with teeth.

Simeon has some serious chompers .I’m sorry. It’s the only thing I can think of when he is on screen.
Haha! Seriously, I did NOT notice the teeth until this episode. I’m afraid (= don’t care) to go back and check an earlier episode, but he’d just become my sexy dude in the show, but now the teeth made him into another Squishy man. Now all I see is teeth and goofiness.

What show are you talking about?
Oh, I've been over it for awhile. He mainly made me laugh in season 1. The only constant in this series for me is, that I love Asuka. I've been clinging to him the entire series. But yes, he's very handsome, Akira. 🙂

Haha. No, I just can’t. He did not have those teeth in previous episodes.

Why am I suddenly spending half an episode hitting the "rewind 10 seconds" button because of....teeth? Lee Jun & Simeon eating a salad took me forever to get through, because as soon as their upper lips started moving, I zoned out.

I don't care, if he's goofy & clueless. I like Lee Jun. Somewhere between the teeth, the squishy face and the making me laugh, he got in a little. I believe, there's more to him, than this facade, that helps him get through certain situations more easily, lets on. End of episode 6 - there he is. That little whimper and how he said the last line? Aww, squishy Jun. 🫶🥺

What show are you talking about?
I know, you are. I’m just playing around with you. 😊 Everyone here is struggling with this show, but I would just drop it, if I hated a show that much. I’m only still here, because I find things to enjoy. So let me sit alone on my island and appreciate Shu doing, what Minato has failed to do for 1½ seasons. I’m sure, I’ll be back to 85% frustration next week.

What show are you talking about?
Really? That’s strange. Maybe there’s an error on the site. I hope, you’ll find the show, you were looking for.

No, but seriously, what happened to Shu?
I've been groaning under the weight of his sheer presence for 1½ seasons, but everything suddenly shifted around episode 6-7. Even his whole appearance has changed.
He looks softer, warmer, more expressive. He went from black and white to color.
I wanted Asuka to run for his life (and soul), but now this couple is the reason, I'm still hanging on.
The power of character growth.

Well, well, well. We're definitely not in the office or at the dentist anymore.
I went in completely blind and I'm shook. Action scenes? Gangsters? Tension everywhere? An interesting story right off the bat? This setup was so unexpected I literally thought Zong Yi walked out of some rich dude's mansion at the beginning of episode 1.
Talk about hitting the ground running. I'm here for this!

OK, episode 6 was the last one, right? And then we've said our farewells to Dojin. I need to let him go, and I can't be sitting here crying from getting the bandage ripped off, if he keeps appearing. 🥺
Anyway, Hogae and the little girl were really cute together.
I know, he's a cop, but I found it awkward and sort of uncomfortable, that Myung Pil attended the autopsy of Spring Lady. And then afterwards Hogae dismisses him, because he was "too close" to the victim. She was literally opened op on the table in front of him. Maybe he should've been sent away at little bit sooner. 🤔

Episodes 8 & 9 were SO absorbing. And added some nice insight to Bong Seok as a character. Who he is now, what he might become in the future. Great acting too. I think, I momentarily forgot to breathe during the last minutes of episode 9.
