Im Han Tae! ❤️ I freaking love characters like him. The music! Episode 8 was like watching kittens play for 30 minutes straight. My face hurts from smiling.
Can we please chill with the chiseled bone structure and out of this world facial features! Mizuki's cheekbones and Yoh's lips are distracting as hell. 95% living in his head+ bad communicator + overcomplicating things. Yoh created his own recipe for disaster, and now he's simmering in the stew. I like him. I'm pleased by how quickly we "solved" this mystery. 2 episodes in and I already have some progress. 👏
I'm tired of the gossiping office dudes taking up minutes of the limited running time in every episode. There's the door. Bye! Also, what is even the deal with the US constantly being painted as the land of light debauchery? Chill. The plot (or lack thereof) is a mess now. Stick to the one main ingredient, that works and dial down the office (non)-drama. I'm still finding Lee Jun cutely goofy/funny. That internal dialogue and his expressions (both peaking at "how?!"), when Choi Jun was at his door took me out.
Oh, this looks so good, dark and gritty! How long until I can get my heart ripped wide open by this movie? I'm deliberately not reading any reviews, until it's available, because I want to go in blind. I'm so looking forward to watching Hong Sa Bin in a leading role opposite Song Joong Ki.
I'm so excited for this drama. Only 4½ days to go now. Lee Sang Yeob had me at "Lee Sang Yeob", but also at "he is the coldest character I've portrayed so far, but also the most intense and suffering one." Yes, please.
Not me warming up to Shu and thinking Takayuki is suddenly the wisest person around. Also, snapping pictures at every moment is not cute. I'd snatch that camera right out of his hands. Oh god, I'm finding one of Minato's overreactions valid now. What is happening?! Who am I?! How is it even possible to love Asuka more with every episode?! Minato, is that you or did hell just freeze over? Compared to the last episodes, I've been snoozing my way through, episode 7 was like someone decided to shift from autopilot to manual.
I feel like Kang Do Ha will be a good addition (I'm still working on not seeing him as the brother from Crash…
How in the world did Do-Jin get up and start walking out of the building after sitting in his corner and basically being blown up/burned? And what's with the lack of emotional response from the other fire fighters? Even if he wasn't from their station, it's clearly a fellow colleague, seeing as he was wearing his gear (pants). He walked out of there, collapsed, died and then, when Hoe-Gae arrives, they all notice his pants? Why didn't he take back his jacket from the kid, when he lifted him out of the window?
I thought the send-off was satisfying. They handled it well, showing individual grief/responses, but it didn't stop everyone from taking action. I'm glad Chen's "Heaven For You" didn't decide to visit from season 1 during the funeral scene, because I would've drowned in my tears. It was a ballsy move to kill him off. I'll give the show that. Do-Jin was my favourite character and I'll miss his bickering with Hoe-Gae the most.
I'm not really that into the romance part of this show, but I find it silly, if this is the end of a possible love line for Hoe-Gae and Seol. Take some time to grieve, yes, but then be together. Do-Jin would've wanted that too. Also, I hope we're done with Seol being the damsel in distress now. She's a trained professional. Girl should be able to hold her own.
I need some new friendship/bromance for Hoe-Gae. So either Kang Do Ha is taking over from Do-Jin or Myung Pil needs to dial it up a notch. Shout-out to Kang Gi Doong. He's been in so many shows, and I really like him here. Especially how worried he is for Hoe-Gae.
I feel like Kang Do Ha will be a good addition (I'm still working on not seeing him as the brother from Crash Course), but there's still a few things from what went down in episode 3+4, I'm not too happy with....
Dramas have been breaking my heart left and right recently, so I'm a bit apprehensive, now we're moving into the home stretch. I have a finale in mind, I'd be OK with, and I'm really hoping, I get to watch at least some of it happen. I've also been thinking for some episodes now, how sort of low-key, Kang San's abilities have been handled and used for most of the series. But I actually like that. Lee Ki Woo's character is underused, and I keep wondering, what he's even there for, but at least he's moving now, although I find it to be too little, too late.
If the story sticks the landing in these remaining two episodes, this has definitely been a very satisfying watch from beginning to end. Fingers crossed.
It's three years since the proposal (yes, the proposal), but Yoh just moved in for a few months. He offered the…
Oh, I only now got the "proposal" part, and why you emphasized it in your previous comment. I just rewatched the episode, and this puts a whole other spin on this story and their interactions for me. Thank you for being so active in the comment field for this show, btw.
Just...wow! I'd kept myself away from any hints or spoilers, so even though I figured out, what was coming, the last episode tore me apart. I kept stealing glances at the running time, thinking there was time. There was still time, until there wasn't. But I'm OK with this ending.
What a beautiful, well-crafted, finely acted series. So much heart from beginning to end. Everyone part of the making of this did so well. Now I'll need to shake my tinge of sadness from having to say temporarily goodbye to these characters, then I'll bury myself in the Reddit commentaries and before long, I'll be ready for a full rewatch.
The on-air posts on reddit are a great source of all the details you may have missed, from wall posters to wall…
I was actually focusing on the posters at one point, when I saw the Philadelphia poster in one episode, but then I forgot about it again. And their color coordinated outfits too. But I know, I've missed so much. Definitely just found the place on Reddit, where I'll spend some life hours reading up on the commentaries for each episode, once this season ends tomorrow. 😊
Ahhhhhh….That was a tube of lubricant not a lip balm😏A lot of innuendos….This version has more innuendos…
I'm sure, I've missed a bunch of them, since apparently they have to be flashing across my screen in neon letters, if I'm to get it. But thanks for reminding me of "The Untamed". I really should get around to watching that one.
What did the lip balm mean? it went right over my head 😭😭
Thank you. It wasn't just me then. 😊But yeah, it was lube. I don't know, where my mind was at. Even if you don't buy into the BL part, it's still a guy in high school.
The fact is, I'm rewatching this, and still I had to go on Reddit searching for "why did he have a lip balm in his bed, and why the comment about the English brand?", before someone cleared it up for me. I'm too thrown by this to even care about, how completely dense I am. Now, I'm wondering what else, I've missed in the past...oh, around 22 episodes. 🤯🤣

Superior acting , but I'm completely destroyed.
I'm nervous going into the final episode now. 🥺
