im ngl im 20 episodes in and i love the premise of the plot, lusi and her character but ever since that episode, i've been hella resenting the ML lmao like i need this man GROVELING bad, and these two imo don't have enough chemistry for me to forgive his shitty actions
the main couple have so much potential for me chemistry-wise and as a power couple but i'm on episode 12 and i just cannot get into the plot at all... and i don't care about any of the side characters either so this was a definite struggle. not sure if i should keep going and hope i'll like the plot direction later on or cut my losses and drop this... :(
im in love with the FL, she literally takes no shit from anyone and has an actual personality omg
also the styling in this drama is A+++ and love how they keep commenting on Xu Kai's visuals like it's a running joke LOLLLL they take one look at him and everyone's like yeah i get why she likes him
LOVED the first episode so far. it's so refreshing to see a FL with doesn't give af, is carefree, and most importantly IS RICH and higher in status than the ML. love the role reversal and the production quality so far is A+
i also haven't seen many supernatural related cdramas so this was nice :D the effects for everything look super cool
only on second ep but i'm loving it so far lol. love how the FL is so smart and doesn't give af about anyone or anything else when she's doing her job haha. love how it's focused on cases but you can still see the chemistry between the leads through small glances or actions.
I mean… ppl can like and dislike what they want but calling ppl vanilla and snowflake cuz they can’t handle…
i’m sorry, was this directed at me? nowhere have i called someone vanilla and a snowflake for not liking a particular scene. people are 100% free to like and dislike any piece of media, but i also don’t think it’s right to rate a whole series based on your impression on one episode or one scene.
also, this is fiction. scenes are shown to display what kind of character that person is. not every character in any media will be morally upright. nobody is saying that what these characters did are right, but are we also judging the same way towards other shows that depict murder, gangs, etc? warnings for shows exist for a reason. just because a certain show has certain warnings is not an indicator of whether a show is good or not.
it is your prerogative to drop or dislike a show for any reason but comments like these rly irritate me bc they have such a judgemental quality to it as if ppl who do enjoy these types of shows are “weird” or off. please get off your moral high horse.
people rating this a 1 or 2 already have a negative preconception of this drama tbh or came into this drama expecting a green forest. they're rating just to be a hater atp LOL. i don't think i've ever rated a drama after having only watched a 1-2 eps, i simply just dropped it if i didn't enjoy it. RL suffering from success looool.
i don't think i mentioned this yet but this show is honestly SO freaking funny, like it's the kind of ridiculous that makes you literally laugh out loud. can't believe how many times i was just cackling to myself after each episode lolol. i gotta give kudos to ziyu whose comedic timing is so good and he's just so cute and natural at it that it's never even cringy haha
also if you're not a fan of the second couple, you won't like the later half as much because they get a LOT of screentime
