It started so well but towards the middle it felt like the writers suddenly switched genre and I was watching a different kdrama. When Muhee started seeing Do Ra Mi, I thought it might be due to her sudden rise to stardom and people kept calling her Do Ra Mi. I did not expect it to be linked to her traumatic childhood. Though Do Ra Mi was quite entertaining, I didn't like that she was taking over. I also didn't like how Mu Hee's uncle and aunt hated her so much when she's also a victim and then at the end they tell us that her parents are alive?? I mean, what?? It also felt like the leads were pushing and pulling each other a lot. I got so tired of them at the end.
Can this love be translated?? The answer is NO!
I'm sorry, even Go Yeon Jung and Kim Seon Ho can't make me like it.
It's my first time watching a Japanese drama that is not set in the 21st century and tbh ep 1 almost made me drop it because I thought the ML was weird and it's going to be boring. I am so so happy that I gave it a chance because it was such a beautiful and heart warming love story. The couple was so awkward and cute and it was really fun to see them break down each other's walls and fall in love (tho they were still awkward until the last episode, it's their charm as a couple haha). Aaaahhh I was smiling the entire time 😭❤️ They were like the type of couple who would be so in love and happy with each other's company even after 50 years of marriage. ❤️ I need more series with Kyoya in it haha
Yall every second I kept checking the amount of time left in the episode
Same lol. Every character from the joseon era kept appearing in the present time except for the king so I kept looking at the remaining time 😭 No dating era 😭
Omg because of that ending, I NEED season 2 😭 or atleast a special episode where we'll see them dating in the modern world 😭 I'm soooo curious how he ended up in the present time. It would be so fun to have another season and it will be about him adjusting to 😭
The ending of episode 11 traumatized me 😭 I thought I was ready to get my heart broken but I did not expect everyone to die 😭 wth!! Based on the preview, it seems like the king will go though hardships. How will they fit all of that in 1 episode?? And Chef Yeon will still have to go back to the future?? It feels like Alchemy of Souls season 1 ending 😭
That's what I understood too from that scene! He was supposed to confess to the HS president but got scared so he just said he's practicing his confession to Miji. Maybe that's also why it isn't a big deal for Miji to book a hotel with Gyeonggu. He's gay
I think this is the 4th or 5th CDrama that I watched and the only CDrama that I didn't struggle to complete. I'm used to KDramas with only 16 episodes for me if a drama has more than 20 episodes, it's too long 😂 but this one? I enjoyed every episode and it brought back the feels when I used to watch KDramas back in early 2000's to 2010's haha.
Can you guys recommend more CDramas for a newbie like me? I'm still watching The First Frost tho 😅
This drama holds a special place in my heart. I haven't cried this much since Hi Bye Mama. This kdrama is a masterpiece. Watching this drama made me wonder about the life of my grandparents and parents and if I'm living my life well. When I grow old, will I be able to say to myself that I lived a good life like Ae Sun and Gwan Sik? Have I shown appreciation to my parents for raising me well? We're growing old but sometimes we tend to forget that our parents are growing old too. Time flies really fast. I think I haven't really looked so closely at my parents and when I did and I saw their wrinkles and gray hair and now I'm sad and scared. Time, please slow down.
I'm at episode 20 and I'm having a hard time finishing it. I might drop it already because I find Gang Ju immature and it seems like Da Rim will not get together with Gang Ju anytime soon. Ugh.
This drama is making me crazy - smiling and crying just a few minutes later. It is sooo heart-warming and heartbreaking at the same time. San Ha's mom and Hae Jun's parents make my blood boil. The audacity to return and attempt to take them after after abandoning them? They don't deserve San Ha and Hae Jun. Only Ju Won's dad and San Ha's dad are worthy of being called parents. Goshh I wish San Ha would tell his mom what really happened when they were kids. His mom deserves to suffer.
Love the ending of episode 5! Both Seok Ryu and Seung Hyo realized something 🥰 Ahh I wish I have something to talk about for hours and with sparkling eyes just like Seok Ryu! ❤️
Lovely Runner is a masterpiece. It got me hooked from episode 1 and managed to keep interested (invested actually!) until episode 16 which is THE BEST EPISODE and ENDING. The other episodes were already so good but episode 16 is sooo beautiful 😭 I thought they pull a "Queen of Tears" card (the memories are lost forever and we will be stressed out until the last episode) but I'm glad that the evil driver is gone in the first few minutes of episode 16 so we only had good things the rest of the episode 🥰 I'm a big kdrama fan and i honestly think that Lovely Runner is the best kdrama this year so far. If it was a netflix kdrama, it would have taken the spot of Queen of Tears. No offense, I loved Queen of Tears too.
I have watched Woo Seok and Hye Yoon's dramas before but this is their best kdrama so far! It's like they are meant to be Sun Jae and Sol. 😭❤️ Please pair them up again in another kdrama!
Did I understand it correctly? Sun Jae's watch from that college timeline became another time machine for Sol? All of the memories of Sun Jae and Sol were so precious 😭 It hurts knowing that Sun Jae can't remember any of them anymore 😭 I hope we're done with psycho killer plot tho.
