I have worked in the same industry for thirty years to build a career I am proud of. I have worked hard for everything that I have. My favorite dramas are enemies to lovers dramas. I’m a huge fan of office romance. This has the makings of everything I like but these first two episodes are brutal. I’m just so uncomfortable watching this…. I feel so horrible for the ML. Basically he gets demoted without any explanation or chance to defend himself. I’m seriously having second hand stress for him. The FL is a shrew that speaks to him with in dripping sarcasm. She is savage.
Where is HR? He fainted and the entire company is unsympathetic, instead they photographed it and left it so everyone can make fun of him. These people seem like bad people.

It gets better, right? I hope they are building to a redemption arch, right? I’m going to continue on watching in hopes that it gets better.

I just finished episode 1 & 2 and I’m not enjoying this. Watching it is uncomfortable. It has potential. I can see that it has potential and I will try a few more episodes. I’ll continue my rant in comment below with spoilers…

So I’m making the assumption that the partially burnt abdication edict from the safe with the copy of the contract marriage paperwork is gone too. “I didn’t see that one coming,” said nobody. Ugh. I have seen it enough times already, so I’m making it official… The “leaked to the press marriage contract” is officially a K-Drama trope.

Please tell me he had hidden cameras on that safe setting a trap or something. I hope he was smart about it. Seems he could have used that to set a trap.

Regardless I love this drama so very much!!!

I loved this drama. I loved the ending with the kiss in the snow. The epilogue with the dog gave me second hand embarrassment for Yoo Yeon Seok. Still I think he will be remembered for his acting in this drama. He did so good playing all the different ghosts. I’m going to miss not having new episodes. Just one more thing…. This made me MISS MY DAD!!!!!

I’ll give it a watch. You are right, most of the Japanese stuff barely gets an 8. With Japanese, I usually really really really like it or don’t like it at all. It seems there is little in between. I do love so many of the Japanese BL dramas.

I prefer Japanese BL over all others. Basically for the emotional depth and character development the pack into each series. I have seen over 100 Japanese BL and not all of them are winners, but the ones that are good are genuinely my favorite BL dramas. Here is my list with rankings…

Yes, as Littlelola said. IQIYI has had a few. I highly recommend “I Hear the Sunspot.” It is amazingly good.

Episode 1 - I’m hooked. Seriously think it has potential to be a favorite .

My favorite scene in the entire series is the part when FL, her friends, Bom, and her parents are at the chicken restaurant. The three thugs come into the restaurant to kidnap the FL. I’m thinking “here comes the K-trauma,” but no, they flipped it. To my absolute delight her parents can fight. Chaos ensued. The good guys win. Awesome! This scene was done so well and it was genuinely funny in parts and heartwarming in others. Bom comforting the chairman’s daughter because she is terrified. The dad slowly taking off his chef’s coat to reveal the martial arts shirt. The FL protecting her friends and family. It was just a really great.

For sure! I find that part the hardest as well and usually save if after everything else is done. I had one person comment that the latest drama is usually the right answer to my quizzes. 😂 I’m like, “yep, that’s the smart choice.” They have figured me out. 😂
