I wanted to ask how's the romance so far? Is it mutual with both of them being as in love and caring for each other or the ml being in love by himself and being ready to do anything and everything for fl while she's just there which is the dynamic in a lot of kdramas lately and it doesn't feel like love or romance.

Why does he love her though? He just met her... It's all about her choosing but why is he choosing her? This is fiction so it has to actually make sense beyond "love at first sight"...

I would've preferred if she broke it off herself, because wow their relationship is so insanely one sided so far, he's crazy about her and she's just like... whatever. Would've been great to see her as in love with him as he is with her but that looks like it's never happening since we're more than halfway through and everyone is talking about how obsessed he is and the most we can muster up about her feeling is "oh she's starting to realize maybe she likes him"...

Your comment made me interested in this, but a question if you please, is she really as supportive and caring towards him as he is her though? Because the impression I got from the other comments is that he's way more in love with her and even the way you phrased it emphasizing his support and I prefer couples where they're both as supportive and in love.

I don't think it's that, MDL changed the way it calculates ratings a while back where popularity plays a role in it, it's not just the numbers people are actually rating it but also how much engagement there is, watchers, commenters etc so you can notice that most airing dramas ratings tend to fluctuate at the same time because of that.

Most likely, since s1 they gave the spotlight to 3 of the characters backgrounds/stories (ml, fl and Dong gil), this time it's going to be her, the chief and his deceased wife and the new team member. Her mother is obviously their new boss so it'll be interesting to see how they handle it.

Agreed, we are off to a good start, love between lines and this one had great relationships where the fls by the end had given just as much as the mls in terms of effort and love. Let's hope it's a sign of good things to come and we don't go back to "ml does literally everything while fl sits on her hands" kind of dynamic that made up 80% of dramas last year. I haven't loved a family kdrama in a long time, I want to watch this but I have a question how's the rlsp between the fl and ml so far? Because usually it takes a long time for feelings to develop between them in 50 ep dramas but I've seen people call the ml a greenflag, has he already fallen for the fl? What are her feelings towards him? I prefer dramas where it's a slowburn and the rlsp is built slowly and they fall for each other just as deeply not just the ml by himself doing everything.

You're right that it should be the case for every drama but for some reason it almost never happens, only in very few dramas like LBFAD, Fated Hearts, Blossom etc. I was hoping it would happen here too but it's looking like that's not the case.

She is his lifeline and I love that but I hope in the drama they truly show she loves him as much as he does, not only because that's the best kind of love story but also because he's been through more than hell, he deserves someone who loves him that much not just enough.

That's so late, I hope it's more explicit in the drama. If this was the other way around in any drama and the fl was SA'd the ml would find out and lose it and make them pay. I wish we'd get something similar here even if it's just her finding out about his suffering in general and being ready to burn the world for him.

I'm confused, what are these kdramas where the fl falls first and then chases the ml for episodes while treats her coldly? That hasn't been a trend in years, now we get the exact opposite for most dramas. The mls almost always fall first and not only that but they do 90% of the work in the relationship right until the end even when the fl herself falls.

A lot of people seem to like it in general, they get second lead syndrome, they love the ml getting jealous. It plays right into the fantasies of 2 hot men fighting over them and a man losing his mind bc he's so jealous over them and that's the majority of people it seems.

I think that's part of it, it's an easy narrative device to add conflict without really adding conflict, plus it adds to the fantasy they're trying to sell, 2 guys fighting over the fl, the ml getting jealous etc

I'm a woman and I'm tired of it. I don't need to pretend 2 guys are fighting over me through the FL, they're fictional characters so just give me a good story and dynamic.

We're doing the love triangle for the millionth time it seems and why is it always a triangle with a 2ML, at least change it up a bit. Also you only have 12 episodes we don't have time for this nonsense. Just give us heartwarming family dynamics and romance.

Can I ask what you mean by greenflag in this context? That he's a good person or that he already likes FL and is doing things for her?
