I'm so moved by Chi Chen's love that I cried, and so beautiful that XL came to pay respects to the parents of…
Yes Chichen's love is beautiful, you should read the novel if you can... the novel version is way better than this ...farce that the drama team is pushing to us... a cheap version of what it should have been 😭 seriously I feel they should have left it as her parents died in the war and not give us this awful version ...
Xiangliu reacting to Tushan Jing's kiss was way longer than what we got to see of yaojing's kiss...
We get it! XL is lovesick over his one-sided love! Stop shoving that into our faces!! LYF team really loves to sacrifice our yaojing screen time for other character moments... 🙄
So who else is disturbed that Xiangliu can sense it when yaojing was making out?? UURRGGH what a violation of Xiaoyao's privacy why did they have to add that, now XL seems so creepy!!
I see some people so ready to push blame on Jing fans... so the fandom is too small to matter and cannot 'carry…
yesssss thats why everyone is complaining about whiplash from the scenes... Xiaoyao took a season to 'seduce' Hou to get him to gift her the fish core... S2 made him look so dumb and gave to her on the second date LOOOOL Hou be like: I am not that stupid!!
I actually read the leaked script so I know what is coming LOL I kind of envy you that you know nothing because there is at least that anticipation and hope *sad face*
After this week will only have like six or seven episodes left and I wonder what the schedule is going to be like?…
In theory they should want it to finish before the Olympics start on July 26... so they either give 2 eps from Mon-Wed again and it will wrap for SVIP or they will be greedy and come up with some SSVIP express package for us to finish this weekend hahahahah
I see some people so ready to push blame on Jing fans... so the fandom is too small to matter and cannot 'carry…
I am surprised not more of his women guessed he loved Xiaoyao 'that' way but maybe the other women just didn't care either lol Xinyue's problem was she actually really had feelings for him and she wanted more than what he was offering to her...
In the novel, it seemed that Lirong Chang's sister married Cangxuan for her clan, and she had a lover who had already passed away... it was too bad the drama wouldn't even see this since they removed that entire part as well..
Seeing how they barely made the death maze scene work in S1, where the flames are already out by the time the…
Absolutely... why keep her away from Xiaoyao for this long?? Xiaoyao has been back for decades already... uuurrrgh... they really... ruining all our iconic scenes!!
Dang it, now look who is the stalker!! 🤣🤪Looks like CX has joined the stalker ranks as well😂🤣🔭
Cangxuan is lurker... he lurks in the dark areas hahahaha I am counting... at least 3-4 such scenes... who thinks he is good for Xiaoyao pls re-evaluate..
I see some people so ready to push blame on Jing fans... so the fandom is too small to matter and cannot 'carry…
Xinyue is actually a pretty complex character given that she was also a hostage like Cangxuan was, but she seemed to have a more traumatic experience overall... Cangxuan had a good and kind mentor, and even though people looked down at him in Haoling, his Master was still good to him... I look back at the friendship she had with Xiaoyao and really feel bad that they have come to this... seriously I blame the man... If he wanted the power that came with marrying her, at least do the minimum and be nice... but no, he also just indulge himself and slowly became the one to poison Xinyue's heart regarding to Xiaoyao...
TH story has many moments of characters creating hate because of their actions... Jing's mother created Hou... Cangxuan created this Xinyue..
Seeing how they barely made the death maze scene work in S1, where the flames are already out by the time the…
If it is the case, that will be even more lame I cannot 😭
The whole idea was even the King of Haoling didn't know if Ah Heng was still alive in that burning desert, and he finally decided to risk it all by taking Xiaoyao in there to get closure... but now... its just a cheap scene, making the actors cry so they can get some sympathy points?
In case you guys wanted to know, but the series opened with a 6.6 rating on DB. Whether that’ll go up or down…
I see some people so ready to push blame on Jing fans... so the fandom is too small to matter and cannot 'carry the drama', but suddenly so impactful that Jing fans alone can pull the score down?
Just face it, S2 is a hot mess for everyone involved... and the production team knows it. They adapted S1 closely to the novel but S2 was just chopping, rushing... without the proper emotional payoff they have started in S1... Maybe thats why they delayed airing S2 for a whole year just to let S1 get all the accolades it can get before finally sinking over the horizon in flames lol
Xinyue was a sorry character and S2 really did her dirty. Cangxuan ruined her life to consolidate his power, Xiaoyao had to pay the price, but Xinyue gets all the blame...
This is really sad. I wish they could have just released a better final product. The scene cutting is horrible!
I don't know how you are interpreting my reply... I am just sharing my observation that most Cdrama productions these days do not exceed 6 months of filming ... And naturally the drama adaptation should have been locked down in the pre-production stage... so all I am saying is, its a pity they didn't manage to finish the drama the way we all hoped for, but we should at least appreciate this was the best they could do, with that budget and that amount of time...
I know he killed his brothers but don't know about his father. Besides his brothers were all planning to kill…
Glad I could help a little! 😊 There are just so many characters in the novel and also it was confusing because the names in the drama and the novel are different ... its no wonder you cannot remember them heeheee
Exactly, when you read the novel, that scene made more sense and created an emotional stirred. I felt it’s hard…
Novel can supplement what the drama had to cut out...
For eg they removed Fenglong's already limited screen time when he was supposed to have been summoned to Haoling to keep Xiaoyao company, after Xiaoyao went there when Cangxuan got married to Xinyue.
To get to that point, King of Haoling had caught Xiaoyao sitting by herself by the lake, and he offered to snatch the 'Tushan's little fox' for her. He made this offer at an earlier chapter as well.
We didn't see those scenes in the drama but we suddenly saw the Haoling King allude to it in S2 E8... this shows that as long as the novel arc wasn't written out in S2, the events in the novel did happen and can be supplemented to the drama watching .... what a weird way for us to enjoy a piece of content though, but there you have it... haha

CGI is expensive lol Look at where all the CG budget went in the drama... Jing didn't even get to show off his flying mount....
@Winner_is_King
The burning desert would have been a set that needed to look like Dune + Constantine ( the movies ) combined lol I really don't think they got that expertise to make it happen... and they would also need prosthetics for Ah Heng... I shuddered at what they achieved for Sang Tian'er...
Its just sad that drama Xiaoyao won't get her proper closure over her parents... I cried buckets when I read that chapter...
This is really sad. I wish they could have just released a better final product. The scene cutting is horrible!
Well since I don't know how they spent their budget...we can only speculate...
A 6 month long shoot seems to be the maximum these days... For big names like Yangzi, taking half a year from her schedule is a big deal already... I don't think production can ask for a few months more from her...
As for quality, to be honest, LYF did their best to look polished...I have seen so many other sloppy xianxia dramas just full of flashy scenes but lacking heart... LYF doesn't lack that.. In fact, they cut down so many CG scenes and made sure the ones they do execute, looks relatively good.
Its just sad that they fell in the last few laps and can't end on a high note due to production decisions..
I really love this..❤️..Agree with all those men reaction. But yep XL fans here will never accept to any negative…
Xiangliu got in, but because Xiaoyao didn't see his efforts to get in, even though he later did alot without her knowing, he will not be acknowledged. To me that is what TH wants to show.
OMG live vicariously hahahahahaha
Fenglong just doesn't care where Xiaoyao is, he is dreaming about Rushou LOL
seriously I feel they should have left it as her parents died in the war and not give us this awful version ...
XL feels what Xiaoyao is feeling get it?

They actually had to walk in the burning sea of flames... no ship could have survived there... everything burns away...
