Sheng Ming isn't listed in the cast credits. He's the computer programmer that Yi Yi likes. At this point, I'm on episode 11 so may not be at the reveal moment for his character yet. I thought he might be listed as another character too, but suppose I'll wait and see.
Xing Zhao Lin and the cats are the only thing I liked in this show. I understand it's a comedy but so much of it was bad including the acting. I dropped it halfway through episode two.

The book is so much more intense, of course. The characters are so much more in the book also. Don't even get me started on the nsfw scenes. However, I like the bromance version of it well enough. It's a pity and shame they didn't finish the show though.
This is done in manga style. From the dialogue to the reactions and the randomness, it is 99% ridiculous. The disclaimer that this is a work of fiction isn't really needed, because there is no way anyone is that crazy and not under psychiatric treatment. I laughed my way through all ten brief episodes. The acting is right on the money for a manga story. The cast was well chosen for their comedic timing as straight and whacky go hand in hand. For a rom-com, this is heavy on the com. Enjoy this with an open mind and light heart.
This is a fantastic pick-me-up show. I loved it. The characters are wonderful and complete but still experiencing their stories. The costumes are amazing. The OST is sensational.
Edit-1: I just finished episode 19. Now I'm tempted to drop it, but I have to see if they can explain the mashugana I just watched.
