As slow enemies → friends → lovers stories go, this is a good one. There were a few things only investment people would understand, but it doesn't bog down the dialogue or flow of the story.
This is so bad, it's good. The manga/anime style acting is over the top but works for most of the scenes. The dialogue is choppy and wanders all over the place before getting to the point. The visuals are great with the costumes, hair and props. The moral of this story is... something something family. The cringe is strong with this movie sequel to the drama, but it's classic live action anime style B.C. (Before COVID)
This show is better than the first couple episodes implies. I enjoy the weather administration office setting. I find how they determine weather forecasts interesting. The couples are all interesting in their own way, with their own stories. The visuals are scenic. The music fits but isn't especially memorable. There are some slow moments with a lot of talking but little emotion in maybe half the episodes. Communication or a lack thereof is the primary problem throughout, which is part of the plot both professionally and personally.
watched this drama to support song kang but i finished the 16 episodes waiting for the FL and ML romance 😪…
I'm not even halfway through episode two, and am hoping that the second leads get hit by a random white truck of Doom and die horribly and on opposite sides of the road.
I found this show entertaining, slow at times, once or twice even heartbreaking to the point of tears, and overall an excellent production. I don't usually like historical settings, but this is one of the few I'll add to my top list.
I couldn't find the main characters the least bit likeable. Bullying without consequences used as a primary plot device bothers me. I dropped this midway through the second episode.
The characters are interesting enough, but I can’t like the story. The FL actress looks so old and out of place between the two ML of younger (but the same) age; her 27, them 20 at the time of filming. The pacing drags and seems to rely on flashbacks that have little context. This will be one I drop.
I watched two episodes. Aside from the attractiveness of the leads, I can’t get into the story nor how it’s told here. I feel like I’m missing something but not especially willing to keep watching it. I usually don’t mind flashbacks and always love a romcom. I dunno.
I started this tonight. I like the trope in most cases. However I dislike the issue of her needing money because her uncle is a bad businessman, her parents are useless and irresponsible and she’s afraid stress will kill here grandmother. I also love this smooshy faced cat. 💗
