I would love to watch an entire series of him watering his plants, working out on his treadmill, eating noodles,…
that would be a DREAM!! if it could only happen :( i swear seeing him surrounded by positivity and love is the only thing that'd rescue us from all this mess

"5. [+880][-18] Jipyeong-ie doesn't have a family... When Jipyeong was wearing Go Kildong's clothes, he looked like Kildong... While Go Kildong may seem like a villain who tortures Dooly when you are a kid, in reality, he actually opened up his house for Dooly, whom he doesn't know, and cared for him as if he was his child and shared his belongs with him... He's sensitive as Dooly uses Kildong's possessions without care but when you grow up, you realise that you feel bad for Kildong. It's the same thing here - Jipyung is like Kildong and Dosan is like Dooly, enjoying all the benefits such as borrowing a car and fame from Jipyeong, whom he doesn't actually know...
(T/N: Go Kildong and Dooly are characters from the cartoon series, 'Dooly the Little Dinosaur')"

The writer really needs to play back/reveal to Dalmi some of Jipyeong's scenes to better showcase his character.…
for real tho.. it's kinda frustrating that they didn't get to even have a single proper conversation other than those where he's mentoring her for more than half of the show. like how is she supposed to have any insight into his personal traits off work?

oh to have a hjp spin-off where we can just see 16 episodes of him having friends he can talk to and have fun with, having someone to eat dinner with (and i don't mean... yongshil), being respected and appreciated for all of his hard work and efforts, and seeing someone love and care for him without him feeling burdened or indebted to them.... i'd honestly watch that even without any actual storylines going on

I can understand it. It's not just about Dal Mi, but that Do San doesn't want HJP to be their investor, because…
i really don't mean to be negative by saying this but do you think the company would have any chance of succeeding if hjp wasn't as direct as he was. nds and sdm had two completely different approaches to hjp's feedback and if it wasn't for dalmi taking his criticism seriously, it's unlikely they'd make it this far. do u really think any other mentor would be willing to respond to 400+ messages, write personal notes, explaining the very basics of starting a business (but he.. apparently.. doesn't believe in them). samsan tech had the skills but it didn't have the knowledge. if hjp really didn't believe in them, do you think he'd be this invested in making sure they don't get off track? he warns them about even the slightest possibility of things going wrong. yes he was harsh but the reality is also harsh, and if they didn't apply his advice they'd be screwed

It's not a messed up drama for people who are not full of bias. Many people have written in their head what they…
to be fair, this drama still didn't provide anything new or exciting except for a more intense love triangle than the usual. i'd get if the rating was this high after the first few episodes which were super promising and refreshing but the last few are just all over the place. it's more of a makjang at this point. i respect that people have different preferences but to say to see that it has the same rating as dramas like stranger and life on mars is just... a bit off. people tend to be biased in their ratings only because their favorite actors are in it so i don't really think this rating accurately represent the actual quality -- this drama has relied a lot on lazy and inconsistent writing. to each their own tho

100% Sneaky Grandma will feed HJP some cheesy line, and tell him to let SDM and NDS be happy as a final favor…

i just don't understand how was this drama directed by the same man behind hotel del luna and you who came from the stars... while you were sleeping also (tho sls was pretty bad there too). but seriously how can you mess up THIS BAD? at this point a 13yo fanfic writer could overtake the directing and writing and we'd be probably having a better time

When did they remember that she's Main?
that's a fair point.. but at least i hoped that her story would develop over time when the drama first started, but it just vanished instead

this!! also his older videos on yt are also filled with recent comments from new fans and his vlive had a large audience so it does seem like his domestic fanbase grew a lot. at least one good thing came out of this drama

so i haven't seen ep 9 yet because i'm scared of getting hurt after reading the comments but also i'd like to ask before i do watch it.. does injae have any scenes in today's ep?? any... meaningful scenes... at all? did the writers forget she's one of the leads again? will i be setting myself for disappointment twice after reading what happened to hjp? the only reason i started watching this was bc of ksh and khn so i'm not exactly having a great time rn

The writers are terrible. NDS has so much to be thankful for. SO MUCH. His parents, his friends. So much support…
based on this comment i'm afraid that my prediction from one of the comments below came true.... i'm so not looking forward to watching this episode

Agreed, one of the things that kept me watching in the beginning was the relationship between the two sisters.…
right?! they could've made a great storyline with this but half of the drama has passed and it's really going nowhere

also i just want to express slight disappointment about the fact that injae could've had such an inspiring, powerful storyline but she was just pushed to the side over time and her character is mainly one-dimensional at this point. the writers are not even trying and in a way, it's a waste of kang hanna's skills and her potrayal of the character. injae also experienced a lot of losses as a child, she chose mom over dad after the divorce because all she obviously ever wanted was to be loved and cared for by her mom; the same woman who remained shallow and materialistic all her life, unable to express any affection for the child who chose her. it seems like injae sought validation in wealth and success because that really is all she had (while dalmi had grandma who loved her dearly). and her story in sandbox could've been a story of self-growth. while she didn't experience much love in her life it would be nice to see her find meaning and purpose in what she does, fall in love with what she does and learn how to respect herself without making comparisons to other people. but writers have been so.... lazy. to the point where it's really disappointing. she's getting less and less screentime and when she does, it's mostly her being bitter and provoking dalmi. she'll probably experience some sort of awakening before the end bc that's how kdramas roll but i'm afraid it'll be poorly and lazily done which kinda makes me sad. all i can hope for is that kang hanna gets more attention and a well-written main role after this but she deserved more tbh

i'm curious to see how tomorrow's episode will unfold. i felt kinda weird after nds said that something (or someone) is the only thing he has. from my perspective, there is a lot of positivity and love in his life which he might not always be aware of. he has parents who (despite the strict dad) are still genuinely rooting for him, investing in his business and especially his mom who stands up to his dad whenever the dad is being too harsh on him. he has two incredibly supportive best friends, who stayed loyal and trusted him even though things were not going well for years; who understand his feelings. he also has his passion and skills, though he doesn't always know the means of how to achieve his goals, which is where he needs the back up. but he's young and starting a company is not a thing someone can do over night. and to be fair, i don't think he genuinely tried that hard before sandbox. he doesn't even know the basics but only the work that he does and he's good at. hell it takes people years and decades to establish a business and they might still fail (dalmi dad's storyline is a good example of that though success came too late). i understand why he'd fall for dalmi who is determined, compassionate and overall has qualities that he'd be lacking as a ceo. but i also think he has a lot to be thankful for in his life. so the credit being given to dalmi is a bit overbearing to me. i hope he doesn't mean that SHE is the only thing he has. i also hope he won't "steal" grandma from hjp because let's be real... grandma's the only person he could ever truly rely on and be honest with his feelings. yes, he's super successful but he doesn't have any people he's particularly close to other than his co-workers, which might explain the lack of ability to express himself well and understand his feelings. i mean the guy talks to yeongshil for advice. a device, not even a real person!!? i just hope his relations with grandma won't be troubled bc of nds, that's all. i care about it more than dalmi's feelings at this point

haven't started watching this one yet but how can y'all have SML syndrome when Nam joo hyuk is the main lead?…
it's almost as if people have different likes and preferences lol. both actors are great but kim seonho is definitely not to be underestimated. aside from being charming off screen, he really carries all of his roles well. from his tone and diction, to his understanding of the roles he plays... he's really doing an amazing job. years of experience as a theatre actor definitely show
