Title Heart Signal Season 6 Spoiler
I figured that I should write some of the cnetz reactions from Weibo, spoilers ahead...
601
Kaizhi (William) and Yilan (or Yiyi): The most popular cp, seem to be very loved by everyone. Everyone is definitely rooting for a happy ending for these two. William received a lot of positive attention for his EQ (how he rejected Zhang Jin and also for the advice he offers to other guys).
Zhang Jin: Her cp with Da Qi is also pretty popular, a lot of people are asking her to pay attention to him. There were a few negative comments about the fact that she talked about William even when Da Qi was giving the girls a ride to the supermarket. I haven't seen anyone who actually ships her with William lol.
Zeng Zhaohao: A lot of people found it funny that he and Hou-ge always give each other bad advice based on gossip. Some people didn't like his comments to Jojo and consider him partly responsible that she left. Other than that, he's not too popular.
Hou Siyi: Probably the most polarizing figure as she's the center of this season's love triangle. She has a lot of fans. But she also receives a lot of negative comments, some are about her physical appearance and some are related to her personality/actions. Most viewers (who don't like her) complain that she is the laziest member of the house and she never offers to cook or clean up after a meal. She's also received criticism for insensitive comments. The two I've seen the most were when she told Hou-ge that her dad is more handsome than his dad. Some cnetz say that it was clear that he wanted to open up more but stopped after she said that and compared it with the fact that she always brings up if others can eat spicier food than she can. The other one is when she told Jojo about the lunch boxes, so some also consider her partly responsible that she left.
Hou Zhuocheng: Jingjun's cp with Siyi is far more popular. HZC wasn't very well-liked at first, there were some rumors from his ex too and people found his behavior very arrogant but now his image seems to be much better. People are complimenting him for his good manners (helping Jojo with her suitcase and being the only one to respond to her during post-date meet up).
The guys: Overall, they received some criticism for taking the ingredients Da Qi bought and then didn't invite 601 guys over for dinner.
The girls: Praised for their beauty, there are some negative comments over the fact they don't do any of the cooking or cleaning.

602
Sung Jingjun: Super popular, his post where he commented on the Jojo issue got a lot of attention. Comments were divided but Jojo responded and it seems like they're on good terms. He also had some weird rumors from his ex at first but they died pretty quickly. Some people criticize him for not being able to cook. But he's very very popular.
Lu Ke: seems to be on the least popular side, but people have complimented him for being kind and considerate before.
Cheng Jingqi: He's so well-liked and his cp with ZJ is popular. But some viewers do want him to move on and just focus on finding a person who likes him back. A lot of people said that they didn't know his personality would be this friendly and warm because he's a national athlete.
Jojo and Momo: A lot of viewers like the twins, they receive a lot of compliments for being very successful (academically) and being pretty. They're not that popular around the guys so they find it unfortunate but believe the twins would be/are super popular outside the house. Some believe it was difficult for them because they lived in the same house and there were no other girls in 602 so it was difficult for them to stand out.

It's still too early to comment on the two new girls but cnetz find them very pretty.

When Sooa's mom said that it's unfair that Haeyi got the study materials because "Sooa studied hard" to get into All Care program... oh sweet irony. Let's pretend she wasn't kicked out after getting in for her test results. Her mom really gets on my last nerve.

Title Crash Course in Romance Spoiler
I am only two episodes in, but I think it's Chiyeol's assistant attacking everyone because there are many subtle clues around it. When his co-workers were talking about him, they called him Royal Consort Ji, saying that he's always right next to Chiyeol and that he doesn't let anyone else approach him. He knows his every day schedule and likely knows his medical history because he asked him if he's still seeing the girl. When you think about it, he's the only one Chiyeol has been paying any attention to and he plays a huge part in Chiyeol's every day life. He refuses Chiyeol's offers to get him a car and instead decides to drive him every day and take a taxi back. He's the only one who Chiyeol treats with respect (to a certain degree), and whose name he doesn't mess up. After the stalker girl came back to his class, he apologized and considered himself responsible because they didn't blacklist her. That same day, someone hit her on the street. Similarly, it seemed like Haengseon was causing Chiyeol trouble in the restaurant which the attacker then interrupted. Whether it is jealousy (because he's the only important person in Chiyeol's life) or being overly protective (because he cares about Chiyeol and doesn't want anyone to mess his life up), it'd make sense for the assistant to be the attacker.

Qiushan's expressions when Youyu was singing absolutely killed me. I love he switched between frowning at his voice and enjoying the other parts, his character is hilarious! I can't help but laugh every time he pushes his hair back :')

To be fair, it'd be even more ridiculous if the pds made an exception to keep Yihyun just because she was a fan favorite. The constants are warned about the rules on the very first day. She broke them and she knew what the consequences would be. It's not like the pds can be selective about who they want to keep and which rules to ignore. What would be the point of them in the first place? They also had a tough decision to make: either edit out all her scenes which would just make the first few episodes incredibly awkward given how talkative and friendly she is, or show her scenes in the house and protect her by not giving out a clear reason about why she left. They made the right decision, imo.

Title EXchange Season 2 Spoiler
I've seen two theories on a Korean forum that actually make sense if Yihyun really did get eliminated. While they were drinking, she had a phone with a white phone case while Taei had a black phone case. Someone zoomed in and it looks like Yihyun was on Instagram so one theory is that they exchanged SNS (which is against the rules). However, in that case it's a bit weird to only eliminate her (unless she was the only one to share it).

The second theory is that she got eliminated for using Wonbin's phone on the balcony . She was holding a phone with a green phone case while her phone (the white one) was on the couch where other contestants were. There's also a scene where Wonbin uses his phone so we know who it belongs it. She could only be playing music on it but they're not allowed to reveal any personal information and we don't really know what she did on it so that could be another reason for her elimination.

i really like the explanation i came across by one of the korean viewers so i thought i'd share it here with some of my thoughts :') all the scenes starting from gu breaking the street lamp to the one where mijeong gets home are a metaphorical expression of what happened between them. they slept together that night.

right before they showed mijeong drying her hair at home, there was a scene of an unbroken street lamp. that's because they never went outside and gu never destroyed it; he simply turned off the lights. the mountain climb represents the act itself; gu reaching the mountain first and leading the way, followed by mijeong who says she wants to see heaven while she's alive and she reaches the top of the mountain too. as mijeong was climbing the mountain, there was also some green light over her at one point. and finally mijeong drying her hair is pretty self-explanatory and where most of these theories started but i agree that it was purposely included, especially because we got to see changhee complaining about either mijeong or kijeong washing hair at night (can't really remember). mijeong spent the entire summer not washing her hair in the evening but she did it now after coming back from seeing gu. someone also said that when the window was closed, it kinda looked like gu was behind a jail cell (mijeong too, right across him) but once he opened the window, fresh air came in and he felt liberated first.

Title My Liberation Notes Spoiler
after today, i don't think that gu is directly responsible for his ex's death but he definitely sees himself as guilty. saying that he told her to die was just another attempt to push mijeong away. the same way he did when she first told him to revere her and he talked about how he didn't want to do anything with people. he feels like he already failed someone once. without a name, it's like his identity is taken away, like there's just a body left. he was suffering and he still is. not only the silence and the drinking, but the walk home after meeting his ex's brother showed just how much pain he was in. he feels like he told her to die through his actions, by feeling exhausted and helpless, asking her to see a therapist, and not knowing how to deal with anything anymore.

i also think he's aware that his ex's brother is not concerned about his death as much as he is worried about "eliminating" him for financial reasons (he accused him of stealing his "customers" and the driver bowed to him so it could've been his former employee). a man with those kind of resources could find gu and would not stop until he pays for what he finds him guilty of. but he was more concerned about money. more importantly tho, the meeting showed him that the brother now knows about the life he was hiding and that the threat (for whatever reason) is still there. the scene with changhee was hilarious, but it also showed gu fearing that someone broke in. what if someone really did and what if mijeong was there? that must've slipped through his mind, and it's just one more reason to push her away. he said he doesn't curse inside his mind only when he sleeps, drinks, or talks to mijeong. but we could see mijeong slowly occupying his thoughts, from remembering their encounters to worrying about the time she gets home. i think he's just afraid of mijeong getting hurt and that's why he also asked her what would happened if he just left.

edit: just wanted to apologize for a wall of text, i guess i got lost in my thoughts :')

i agree with the comment below that said that jumping off a cliff was only a metaphor and that gu's ex passed away in a different type of accident. but one of the first things that came to my mind when i heard him say that was the scene where mijeong and hyuna looked at high-rise buildings, saying that the people who live there must be mentally strong because they could end their lives anytime.

for those who are curious, the movie is actually based on real events and real people (with a few factual exceptions). i reckon they had to change the names so they could have more freedom with some scenes without any troubles but the story follows the former president kim dae-jung (kim woonbeom in the movie) and his strategist um changrok (seo changdae in the movie) during park chunghee's dictatorship and 1971 elections.
