ahh i'm so glad that sol's feelings might not be one-sided after seeing today's episode. the way she looks at jiwan is seriously melting my heart <3 i just hope jiwan will genuinely like her back (without any drama or storylines like jiwan wanting her attention because someone else likes her or anything). i just want these two to be happy, the main story is already as complicated as it can be
really love how many ikjun scenes are going viral in korea (deserved!), his little greeting when he saw minha is already one of my favorite scenes of this season! chuchuu :')
the official title in korean has it too on the jtbc’s site. probably bc of the literal translation (i know but..) so it adds extra emphasis on the unfinished sentence (?)
But anyways, I'm really interested in what Jong Hyeop's character is going to be like. We haven't seem him at…
he's the SML but in the webtoon he appeared quite late. not sure if they'll make some changes, but i personally hope his character gets more screentime in the drama and we get more of his personal storyline
sohee really proved to be the perfect choice for nabi. she's a textbook example of understanding the assignment every single time and i love that she shows her versatility through her drama choices (especially now after WOTM). i might be biased but knowing how much she likes the webtoon, it's clear she studied the character well and i'm so happy to see that her understanding of nabi is evident through her portrayal of the character. aaand when i thought i couldn't be more in love..
I missed them. More like I forgot. Can you explain please
yoo yeonseok had a main role in reply 1994, where he played a pitcher (both hospital playlist and reply 1994 have the same director and screenwriter). so it's a reference to his previous role. the bluetooth one is a reference to hospital playlist goes camping series on youtube, when jung kyungho couldn't guess the word bluetooth in shout in silence game while in the scene in hp2 he's explaining what bluetooth is.. so it's kinda ironic haha (also there was a bluetooth scene in s1 where junwan's phone was connected when his gf was calling him so the reference is pretty natural).
i can't help but be bothered by the fact that there are so many judgmental comments about nabi, her behavior and…
you're absolutely right. and with how heavily her actions were controlled by her ex and how they got to date, it's not a reach to say she also needed therapy. plus she even wanted to give up on jaeuhn entirely after that friends gathering, but her friend encouraged her not to do it. like you said, that's not the environment to be in. and i'll definitely continue reading it, i initially didn't want to before the drama finishes but the story is too interesting and too relatable. i've seen what happens in the end and i hope the drama follows the same ending. i'm kinda tired of kdrama pds and writers forcing couples that are simply not good for each other to be together.
i can't help but be bothered by the fact that there are so many judgmental comments about nabi, her behavior and…
thank YOU! i'm glad i'm not the only one who feels this way. with all the criticism on other platforms, i'm kinda scared how her character will be perceived once the drama airs..
so i just started reading the webtoon but i have some thoughts (i'll mark them as spoiler below, though i believe…
i can't help but be bothered by the fact that there are so many judgmental comments about nabi, her behavior and her way of thinking considering her past. it seems to be something that people tend to brush off easily (tho i might be wrong because i still have to continue reading the webtoon). her character was clearly groomed as a minor, seeing that her academy teacher said he'd date her once she started college when she was still in high school.
the same boyfriend didn't let her change her hairstyle (and said she shouldn't make any similar decisions on her own), would create an issue out of pizza slices she eats, cheated on her and even exhibited art based on her naked body (which clearly made her feel uncomfortable and seemed to be done without her knowledge or consent). not only that the age difference is disturbing, but it also shows us the power dynamic of her past relationship. she was under constant control, manipulation and emotional abuse by someone older than her, she was in in a relationship where she couldn't act independently and where her presence wasn't respected for three years. and it took her a while before she realized that this is not normal, that's not how relationships are supposed to be. she doesn't just have negative past experience, this is actual trauma. and seeing all these comments (in the very beginning at least) on how she deserves to get played, how she's well-aware that the ML doesn't wanna date her leaves me with so many question marks. yes, she's somewhat aware. but she also has a history of abuse and the person she likes is clearly giving her mixed signals. do people really expect her to be extremely rational in such a situation? especially when the only friend who criticized her past relationship and the person whose advice she respects the most is telling her that the ML is not treating her like other girls and that she should go for it? something that would make her feel special and would give her hope? nabi is quite rational at times, but let's not forget that she's also very vulnerable. idk i'll just continue reading this but i'm having a lot of mixed feelings so far. i just hope the drama will portray the story well
so i just started reading the webtoon but i have some thoughts (i'll mark them as spoiler below, though i believe it'll likely be mentioned in the very beginning of the drama)
iqiyi added to coming soon section on their website, right after the dramas which will start airing this month so hopefully it'll come soon :') they didn't specify the date though
wow so it'll be on Netflix in September for inter fans ...The long wait :'(
it's not like that in every country. i live in europe and the kdramas always get released at the same time as they're airing in korea. but knowing how big hospital playlist is, there will be episodes with eng subs in a span of few hours after it releases in korea on platforms other than netflix
