An interesting mini series with a wide range of stories each one is unique with a small twist. Some of them were good enough that they can be turned into a full featured movie. Each one had a different theme and feeling, some took the comedic creative route while some took more of a serious one. Some of them had the vintage feel of early 2000s Korean horror movies. Overall, it's interesting watch.

The first episode was promising but things started to fall apart from as early as episode 2. Ji Hyun is the worst liar I've seen in a drama. Kids can practically lie better. The drama had an idea but the characters' writing was abysmal, every single character. The cast didn't help in bringing the script to life either. It can also be considered one of the worst and most boring dramas about infidelity.

Title 18 vs. 29
She forgot everything and returned to the age of 18 but she behaved like a 13-14 years old all the time. I was expecting an actual drama but turned out to be a boring daily life of nothingness in the second half. Even if it wanted to go for a lighter rom-com route, it failed to capture that later on especially when that highschooler got involved. I liked the set up and the cast but the 12 episodes in the middle lacked any meaningful structure. A bit of bad play with the amnesia part. Her memory came back way too late when it didn't even matter anymore. They had the opportunity to do a lot with what they had. At the end of the day I just want to see more main roles from Park Sun Young and even Ryu Soo Young.

A nice little drama. Everyone is a lead in their own story, at the same time they become support characters for other stories. I kinda liked how the stories were independent instead of parallel while having different directors/writers at the same time. There's an overall melancholy theme going on especially with the last story. It's a little different from usual drama but it's a decent watch. Also, young Bae Doo Na is amazing as always.
On Doctor Detective Apr 30, 2023
This was so damn boring and mind numbing. All the personal relationships were out of place and done poorly especially the leads one. Both the cases and the relationships were conflicting with each other constantly to which one should be given the focus while overshadowing the other. Personally, I would prefer if it was strictly about the cases. Bong Tae Kyu became too much to stomach after a couple of episodes. The story in general wasn't appealing at all, there was no need to give the bad evil corporation/s a character especially since these cases were adapted from real ones.
On Pegasus Market Apr 30, 2023
Fun little drama but the concept became stale mid way through with some skits weren't as good as the earlier ones. It would make a great comedy movie with some refinements or at least cut it down to 6-8 episodes while removing the boring bits and this would be a solid package. The music bits were decent. On another note, whenever they use CGI it doesn't blind well especially the shot of the main building they keep using.
On The Great Show Apr 30, 2023
I liked the set up but there was a serious lack of affection for this "great family". The two younger kids were almost invisible and appeared for a total of 5 scenes. The 2nd sibling maybe had a couple of sentences in the whole thing. This leaves us with only the eldest daughter which was the main focus yet it failed to establish a real connection with her father. The daughter had a stronger connection with Soo Hyun than her father. Meanwhile, the politics were fluff politics at best.

I was planning on watching this, but not sure if it's my type of drama. I like HK drama Beyond The Realm Of Conscience…
It's hard to say because it took about 25 episodes before the main story began. The first 5-7 episodes were for the kids cast then followed by 15-20 episodes of some competition in the palace to establish the characters then the main story began. It's a very slow burner in general. Maybe try the first 10-12 episodes and see if you like it.

The cast did their best. Good concept but meaningless and tasteless execution. The drama does nothing but stating the obvious "the water is wet". They tried to shove in a handful of backstories for various characters to make it more like a "drama" but that backfired, it came across as if the writer trying to force sympathy. Not a good work-place drama! On an unrelated note, what's up with the extreme skin smoothing filter? Checked both WEB and TV versions and it's the same thing. Reminds me of one of those Topaz plugins in Photoshop.

The usual OCN formula. I found it to be a weak thriller, especially with the strong plot armor and the protagonist super vision. Even the mystery elements weren't interesting. Failed to get me hooked. I was excited to see Park Won Sang in a main role but the drama didn't quite deliver.

Title She Is Wow!
Unhinged wild ride. A train wreck that doesn't stop. At the end of every episode there's a new revelation to one of these wild hidden secrets. Although it was interesting but it's a total mess with the limited runtime. It was all about the twists and secrets.

Nice concept but turned out to be very meh. Feels like it was made by robots for robots. It's a shame because it got a decent recognizable cast.
On Flowers for My Life Apr 29, 2023
Too much time wasted on the love triangle/square while the terminal illness was brought to attention way too late. It's definitely one of the weaker tearjerkers. The earlier parts were funny and interesting but I couldn't bring myself to like the later parts, they were so dry and bland. The drama didn't do a good job in portraying that deep connection needed for any tearjerker drama. On the other hand, I was glad to see Kang Hye Jung in a 1st main lead. It's a rarity in her short career, usually it's either 2nd lead or support.
