Obviously, Hye Won and Jae Ha were the highlights but I wanted to see more of them in the second half. Their story was almost finished mid way through, why not create more arcs for them? At least they were cute af at the end. I said it before and I'mma say it again, Lee Yoon Ji is one of the most underrated actresses.

It's a passable family drama but lacks some focus on a bigger scoop. Every chunk of episodes focus on a different character/story. They missed the opportunity to make the three sisters' dynamic as the main focus, it was, but for a short period and brushed off fairly quickly. Regarding conflicts and escalations, the writer seems to know one and only one way to achieve that, this is done by isolating the victim and shift all the blame to them by everyone including their family. This was done repeatedly to most of the characters/stories, it makes it hard to watch when it's this detached from common sense. They went overboard by showing that they live in an extremely sexist society, this is not 1920 anymore, again this also comes down to how the writer choose to create conflicts. The overcooked "happy moments" for the last episode felt off and just had too much artificial flavor. Especially with this wacky 10-years promise for Ji Won, just be normal.

My god! What's wrong with Min Myeong Suk, he's abusive, toxic, manipulative, mastermind in gaslighting and borderline misogynistic. Really got on my nerves! I just wanted a better resolution for Ji Won at the end.

The root of all the problems is this piece of shit three timers who can't keep his dick inside his pants. The first half was fine but the second half was hilariously bad. The story lost its structure and became loosey-goosey wet spaghetti infested with plot holes and comical sequence of events.

First time seeing Go So Young in a drama, it's a shame she quit acting after marriage 15 years ago (this drama was an exception).

I hated the ending and hated seeing Goo Jung Hee happy at it. Not worth it!

Holy shit! This cast is stacked and I mean S.T.A.C.K.E.D. You won't see such a heavy weight cast nowadays. Byung Hun stole the show by a long shot, absolute veteran even at the age of 29. Throughout the drama he must have ran over 10km. The drama got such a unique vibe and energy. That ending song is a certified banger! Great drama highly recommended!

The chemistry between the leads is off the charts! Much better than I thought it would be. Big family and full of likable cast. Although the teacher Seon Woo was pushy and borderline creepy. The first half was great and Da Hyun was full of character and vibrant, but then in the second half it got a bit ordinary and Da Hyun became soft spoken and quite for some reason. It's really a shame that Kim Jung Hwa isn't getting main roles nowadays. The last 6-7 episodes were nothing but a long sequence of happy events, cycling through every single character and giving them a resolution. It's long but inoffensive. Overall, it's a good drama from the good old times, it's well worth it for the main leads alone.

DON'T WATCH THE REMAKE "Something About 1 Percent (2016)", it's awful! Full of nothing but cringe tasteless fluff. Watch this one instead, it's more than enough.
On Rooftop Prince Sep 15, 2022
It's 10 episodes too long, cut it in half! Feels like a copy from every other time-travel joseon era drama, especially "Queen In Hyun's Man (2012)" which shares great similarities. In comparison, "Queen In Hyun's Man (2012)" was better than this thin lukewarm copycat.

A lot of things are thrown at you and you are meant to accept them without questioning or whatsoever. Se Na is a generic pitiful villain with no character. Diluted story, poorly executed. The chemistry is often too awkward between them. Don't get me started on the script/romance/characters/editing, all of which were distasteful. It's a shame, these kind of drama are the ones that get popular. 4.75/10

Don't watch it from NETFLIX, they cut scenes from every episodes. Watch the TV or Blu-ray version.
On Beethoven Virus Sep 15, 2022
Only watch it for the music and nothing else, don't expect anything else from it at all other than classical music. The drama got nothing else to offer. Another unnecessary awful love triangle. The worst romance you'll ever see in a drama, guaranteed! Jang Geun Suk got some hideous sideburns, too distracting. Half of the side stories were meh.

It's not good, not even worth it for Park Shin Hye. A cheap rip off of other sad stories from that era. A joke of a script. It also shares great similarities with 'Autumn Tale (2000)', might as well consider it a blatant copy:
- Both second male leads are the sons of a hotel owner and love the female leads.
- Both female leads work at the said hotel
- Both main male leads are painters and likes to draw
- Both had forbidden love between none blood related step-siblings.
- Both were poorly written
- Both had a shitty ending

Look at the bright side, it's only 10 episodes.
On Autumn in My Heart Sep 14, 2022
The mothers giving up their daughters to one another so easily was off putting, weird and irrational. This shitty start will linger with you for the remainder of the drama. Of course with such oldies they slap you with the classic terminal illness trope to give you an ending only your grandmother would love.

Out of the 4 Endless Love installments, this one is the worst. Spring Waltz, Summer Scent and Winter Sonata were better than this. This one isn't well written, they push hard to maximize the angst and sadness while neglecting anything else. Song Hye Kyo was gorgeous and remained so 22 years later!

Don't watch it from Amazon/KOCOWA, they cut some scenes here and there, and later on from episode 9-16 they shave off 5 minutes from every episodes. Watch the TV version or even better the DVD version if you can which got extra scenes where every episodes reaches +1h and got separate deleted scenes.

Ji Sung and Kim Min Jung worked together here 13 years ago before Devil Judge, interesting! They didn't age a single day but became great actors :). It's a decent medical drama with its pros and cons. The way the leads were pushing each other away excessively was getting on my nerves way too much. Some illogical things happen here and there, whether it's medical or characters related. The cast was mostly good especially our leads but some of the side characters can't act to save their own lives. At least my favorite Ahjussi Sung Dong Il is here. Most of the patients stories were good but that last one was just weird and out of character. For Ji Sung's fans, go ahead and watch it, he was great.

One MAJOR downside:
Can "Lee Ji Hoon" just fuck off, seriously!! The dude is pure cringe, his predatory advances are nothing but creepy YIKES!! He is the worst part about this drama! At least he's only around for half of the drama.
On Vampire Detective Sep 13, 2022
It's a tiny little small step up from Vampire Prosecutor but still shit! This is script is extremely flawed beyond belief. Both seasons of Vampire Prosecutor + Vampire Detective, are one big package of complete utter irredeemable failed project. How did they manage to push for 3 seasons is a mystery! So for three seasons they teased for that one mastermind vampire but never revealed anything about him, were they seriously thinking they will get the green light for another season? People say this had potentials and started off promising but no! It was doomed from the very beginning.
On Vampire Prosecutor Season 2 Sep 13, 2022
What's this? A mystery/thriller for children? Everything is too cartoonish, script, acting, filming, effects...etc. Apparently, black eyeliner = vampire and Emo boy = vampire. Lee Young Ah seems to have gotten a couple of plastic surgeries between S1 and S2. The entire drama is nothing but close up shots, it's extremely nauseating. Most of the budget was wasted on inviting too many familiar faces cameos.

I wanted Uhm Ji Won to be the main character. I didn't like the main pairing between Shin Young & and Min Jae at all, none existent chemistry and the script doesn't help them either. Even the other pairings weren't good. Kim Bum doesn't fit in a main role, he's better off being a sidekick. It's also one of the worst "noona romance" dramas.
On Miss Korea Sep 12, 2022
This drama truly took me by surprise. It's criminally low to have this rated 7.3 on MDL. The cast couldn't be any better than this, Lee Yun Hee and Lee Sun Kyun are the perfect embodiment of their characters. A really well written delightful story with good attention to details. The music and soundtracks are amongst the best, even editing wise, the right song plays at the right time. It's also shot beautifully, especially with those snowy scenes. Overall, it's a solid package 8.5/10.

Damn! You will lose count for how many times they break up.
The drama doesn't "start" until episode 13 and kinda ends around 27 with the last 5 episodes being bullshit stretch and on episode 32 they stretch and squeeze any soul left. They neglect most of the hotel staff in the second part and turn it to pure melodrama, the same thing with other characters like Da Bae who completely disappeared in the second half. You just keep watching to see Lee Da Hae smile and crack stupid jokes.

Go watch "Valid Love (2014)" or "My Wife’s Having an Affair this Week (2016)".
On A Word from Warm Heart Sep 10, 2022
Don't expect to find a realistic portrayal of marriage and infidelity here, it's mostly quirky melodramatic maneuvers. Therefore, it's hard to see any raw emotion that carry a heavy emotional impact. Especially from Eun Jin, static stiff expressions throughout any emotional scene. Yes she tears up and her eyes get red but that's the only part of her face that moves. Also, Eun Jin had no chemistry with any of the two men. It only makes it harder to get invested. And of course, everything, with the power of magic, work out after a time skip :/

Below average direction, weird inconsistent transitions and dialogues. Awkward insertions of music and sound tracks. The way the episode is divided into clips doesn't flow properly. It only get worse when they switch the topic within a scene to something irrelevant or unfitting for the scene.

I finished this drama and looked who was the screenwriter? Guess what? It's the cursed writer "Ha Myung Hee", she is the infamous writer for ruining any project she works on and this is no exception. As I said in my comment 10 months ago on her profile page "The writing is so weird, detached from reality and has no good construction.", since then, I watched 6/9 of her projects and my opinion remains the same.
