I watched the Japanese version before the original Korean one for some reason. Anyway, both had their own flavors. Some stuff the Jap version does better and other stuff the Korean version does better. If I were to summarize both versions it is as follow: Jap version is compact and complete story that did a good job delivering the core message. The Korean version is a more spread out story with 50% more content that carries the same core message with not much of a difference. But most of the extra content are from around episode 11 and onward, we get to see the FL chases after ML after the ML decided not to interact with both wives for several episodes. The Jap version barely showed that briefly. We also get to see a lot of "post credit" scenes in the Korean version, the entirety of ep16 is a post credit scene. Korean version also has your typical flavor of Korean comedy. The drama itself story wise was fine but I can't help feeling that the reconciliation at the end feels artificial and forced. This goes for both versions. Both versions had a great cast. I love when the Korean FL voice cracks every time she screams.

Both versions had a great cast. I absolutely love when the Korean FL voice cracks when she screams lol
This shouldn't be tagged with "Horror, Supernatural" it's just a thriller mystery even though the girl sees few visions here and there. The drama felt too tame and slow, the thriller aspect of it doesn't show it till the last 4 episodes or so. It fails to keep the viewer interested with the extremely slow uneventful investigation for most of the episodes. I would say it's worth it if you the time and patience to stick with it. Also, it seems like they did nothing about the rapist? Like seriously wtf!!!!???
This drama can't stick to one theme at all, it doesn't know what it wants to be. Sometimes it's a casual drama then typical melodrama then it tries to comedic and romantic then switches to thriller and mystery with the suspense. It feels too scattered that it ruins the mood and the pace.
Aside from that, when the killer was revealed it felt disappointing for such a character that wasn't shown more than few scenes in the series. They completely ruined the climax for a 20 episodes build up. Such a waste!
One more thing, since the topic of infidelity was one of the main subjects where all men were cheating I wish if they would take advantage of the topic to explore more variety of why these men would cheat. As it is portrayed here, it seems they all are cheating for the sake of it. It could have been a stronger and better plot.
In the beginning, it felt it was going in the right direction but it never did. I would say watch it if you have nothing else to watch but otherwise it's mediocre at best.
You would expect such a drama to have a good amount of intimacy but it's far way too scarce. It has two kissing scenes in total and they were just touching lips.
It tries to portray itself as a "mature romance" relationships but behaves like highschool drama hookups. You can expect loads of cringe and cheese for a drama that meant to focus on these men's relationships in their 40's.
Regardless, it has a decent cast with nice moments here and there but it remains mediocre.
If you want an actual matured theme drama then go watch "One spring night"
This is genuinely amazing! This instantly became my top 3 dramas. The same writer for "Something in the rain" with the same ML which is the perfect cast for such a drama. I absolutely love the soundtrack that I bought. It is extremely rare to find a drama at this caliber, the only dramas to match this are (Something in the rain, My mister, Because This Is My First Life). Overall this gets a perfect score from me 10/10 !
It's pretty good! Both leads are my favorite actors and I was happy to see them in one drama as leads. This drama is miles better than Can You Hear My Heart. Although this drama from 2018, I feel like Namkoong's hairstyle and style is older than that and it doesn't suit him at all. Something from Good Manager or Beautiful Gong Shim suits him much much better.
It went downhill in the last third. Also, I personally didn't like the ML, I wish ML and 2ML switched places. This drama has 2 of my favorite actors but the drama itself is weak, uninteresting and overrated!
Don't be deceived by the low rating and give a shot! This is not your typical drama, I feel like it's a bit misunderstood. This drama doesn't take itself seriously, it has a bit of satire. If you are looking for something different, this is for you. It's crazy fast paced roller coaster that will keep you hooked till the last episode.
Not good! borderline bad! FL is hella cute but everything else is falling apart. It's 16 episodes long but we don't get any romance between leads until the last few minutes of the last episode and it's not even worth it. On the other hand, 2FL gets 100x more romance scenes. Boring, no romance no comedy, very few cute scenes and unlikable ML. It's just not worth it.
It's great, well written and high quality production but I can't help but feel at some points it's way too lengthy with nothing interesting happening. 1.5hours per episode is way too much and it shows after few episodes. Some scenes I was bored out of my mind. Also I wish there was more interactions between ML and his sister since SHE is the main reason he is in jail!!!!! If it were packed better I would give it a higher score but for me it's a 8.5/10
Really enjoyably one. I much prefer these kind of dramas where couples are getting a second chance rather than getting to know each other for the first time. Just like "Once again" Some thoughts: The ML didn't only get crazy rich in 3 years but his character completely changed which somewhat short for that much change in 3 years. The company logo/font/slides are really ugly even for 2011!
The first episode is not a good selling point, a lot of stuff happening and dialogue is scattered everywhere. I was worried and my expectation were very low. But I was completely hooked from the 2nd episode. It's really good and entertaining but it can get a bit heavy on the business talk, fortunately the comedy offset that. Ngl I wished for just a tiny small bit of romance even if it was in the later episodes.
The FL is one of my favorite actresses which is the reason I watched this. But my god the ML is just unbearable and I wasn't interested in his story/past at all. I couldn't empathize with him which ruined the whole drama for me. I wonder if I were to feel different about the drama if the ML actor was different but I guess I will never know.
I felt I was losing brain cells every single episode.
The high rating of this drama seems to be purely driven blindly by fanboyism. I understand when you watch your favorite actor's work and you want to support them but at least be a bit objective to the piece of media itself. But who am I to judge, you do you.
I'm not familiar with most of the cast, I might have seen a drama or 2 for each. So I wanted to give the drama a serious watch but it is atrocious no matter how you look at it!
