I think they’re only supposed to be introduced after ep. 8 after the story of the first couple is wrapped up - maybe slightly sooner. I really am looking forward to that one as well

Oh sorry to hear that. The cast is the same but they are totally different in War of Y, like night and day. I also like 180 degree longitude on Gaga as well. The Korean drama Once Again is really exceptional - also on Gagaoolala.
What are the people who made ITSAY and IPYTM up to and why cant we get more good stuff out of them? Oh god Im…
You should check out War of Y on Gagaoolala. It's written really well, and is much more mature than this garbage. But it's not really a BL - more like a mockumentary of the BL industry.
These Mame productions are really kooky. They feel Disneyesque but with a lot of weird kinky scenes - like high school musical meets fifty shades of grey. The dialogue is just so silly- I'll just take it as comedy. Rain's dialogue is written for a very immature kid, somewhere around 8-10 years old. He treats his love relationship like a game of Candyland [omg how many times do I have to hear Rain complaining how Phayu cheated during his turn]. Phayu, who's much more mature, and really a decent guy, talks like he's a pedophile intent on molesting this kid in the most publicly embarrassing way possible. For the most part, I look at this as a comedy, and it's pretty entertaining that way. And the kissing scenes are not bad. Honestly the most memorable scenes were the spanking scene, the one with the anal suppository, and the make out scenes. The rest of this is just artistically terrible, and those scenes are terrible too but they're kind of fun to watch. And the kissing is really very, very good - some of the best in any BL.
Bad Buddy kiss was just legendary. The music, the good acting, the location, the emotions! But this one felt more…
It must be a contract because I feel the actors can do it. Why they force that into the contract, I will never understand. I think they feel that's all the Thai audience can take, but I feel things are loosening up lately. KinnPorsche certainly had a ton of intimacy beyond the norm.
OMG, I agree that was not a forced kiss. It's just the opposite, because we are so trained to not have virtually any kissing at all. Some only think this doesn't feel natural when it totally is, because they are not used to things that should be normal, realistic interactions between young men who have the hots for each other.
BB kiss still gives me 🦋🦋🦋🦋. ive watched lots of heated and non heated kisses even with actors with…
I know exactly what you're talking about. I only replay this kiss, and even if the one in Bad Buddy was good, and legendary, it still feels staged. Let's say that was a dramatic kiss with a lot of fireworks. The one in The Eclipse feels private, and I replay it because it feels so real and intimate. It might just be a matter of personal preference.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. They need organic development, and if people feel passionate about each other they WILL kiss, and it won't feel artificial and we will all love it. Please let it happen GMMTV, because even if all your care about is ratings, this would help.
Here's a video with Chang Min. Now I don't have any dislike for him even if he dropped Jeong Hyun, but he has had over 20 relationships since he started dating - that's just too many, imo. It's no surprise he just stopped seeing Jeong Hyun so quickly - he's having 2-4 relationships per year. On a positive note, he's a great singer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wiwj9m1Iw4Y&ab_channel=%EB%82%A8%EA%B7%9CNAMGYU
That had to be the best kiss in BL history. I agree with everyone that highlighted it. I'm just thinking how this happened with Bad Buddy, and people were talking about it for months. I really think this one was better. It was natural, and relaxed. This is about the only time I didn't feel like I was watching people acting. It felt more like I had a window into a personal moment between two lovers in the real world. Ayan was vulnerable, and Akk was tender and comforting. Just beautiful!
In this one he says he works at Chang Min's bar - huh? I didn't know Chang Min had a bar. I thought he had a catering business. I guess at least Chang Min treated him decently. Chang Yu also say his instagram picked up quite a lot after HIs Man and I'm thinking that probably helps his youtube career. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGS0XJR2M-0&ab_channel=%EB%82%A8%EA%B7%9CNAMGYU
Does anyone wonder why Ayan carries that notebook around? If it's really important to him, he should just lock it up in a safe, and Ayan's family could just help him with that since they seem to be pretty wealthy. Ayan's very intelligent so I'm sure he's up to something carrying that notebook around. I bet he wants it to be stolen for some reason.
Yeah, ratings end up lower than when they were airing (probably because of how active the comment section is while…
I don't understand the rating system at all. Several of us went into it when Bad Buddy was airing but none of it makes much sense - the numbers are, at best, approximations. The popularity rating has some role in it as well as number of watchers. Bad Buddy also had a ton of commenters but the rating just dropped in the end, anyway. If this rating system was for real they would tell you how they get those numbers, but they won't. Try asking an admin. They will never tell you.
8.6 is super good at this point. Most never get that high and their highest rating is usually in the first 2 weeks.
Excellent show! The acting and screenplay really hit home, like this incredible nostalgic feeling. It's this feeling of loneliness and desolation that is just beyond words here. I'm not sure why I like this shy, introverted law student, but he seems like a really nice guy, and he saves the young kid's life so no wonder he's so attractive to young Shin Jae. We're seeing everything through the eyes of this kid so I think we are drawn to KangJi through him even if, in Kang Ji's own words, he's not that popular or likeable [although he works fine for me]. His personality is also very sweet, especially when he takes the kid home to let him sleep in his dormitory.
I'm only distracted by the poor film quality, but I can live with it. I'd rather have a good story and great acting, than perfect cinematography.
Is it really no big deal that Akk released the handbrake of the truck just to make it seems like the curse is…
Good point. Unfortunately, in Thai dramas there is no consequence for the crimes people commit even if they try to kill someone [like in Tharntype]. It's even true in their lakorns so don't be surprised if this is just brushed off. It's a shame because the character development is really fantastic in this series. I'm trying to think of some other way for Akk to have done this. The blood scene was ok. Stuff like that which would have scared the protestors, but not put their life in danger would have been the better way to go with this. It's going to be chalked up to Akk was in a delusional state - but, hey, when you get that far gone in a cult you need some serious therapy. He also probably needs some jail time as well as being expelled from the university, but that would kind of destroy this whole story. In Tharntype it would have been ok to jail the guy who almost killed someone because he was the villain, but Akk is like one of the good guys, so what do you do here?
Just thinking about Akk - he's not a real deep thinker, but is still highly intelligent. He is easily manipulated because he doesn't really question things like someone with a more philosphical bent. He really needs to have his scholarship, especially in a poverty-stricken country like Thailand, so that is a serious motivating factor, but I think it is actually not as strong as his cult-like following of Chadok. The reason I think that is that Ayan got through every barrier with Akk except his attachment to Chadok. In the beach scene I think if it was just a matter of the scholarship, Ayan would have won Akk over completely.
I think it's obvious that Akk is actually a naturally good person, but that gets subverted by Chadok who is using every tool he has to control Akk. Ayan is setting up a counter to Chadok by using every tool he has in his arsenal, including the threat of exposing Akk as well as appealing to simple ethics. I just hope he doesn't use his love for Akk as a tool as well. You have to think that really complicates their relationship, as if it wasn't complicated enough, lol.
I just really love this character development in this series. It seems to me to be among the very best of any BL [I can only think of 1 or 2 that are comparable, but not more]. Every character seems really multi-dimensional, and alive.
