You can tell that So Ra is a softie - she just has this cold demeanor (she probably got hurt in the past). She straight up told Dr. Cha that her husband is cheating on her and it's great to have her as an ally.
I really hope that Dr. Cha will choose herself at the end - it's gonna be a shame if the ending will make her rely on a man.
So she basically found out about the building in her name and didn't even raise a 'how come' or 'why'? Am I the…
I think she's used too much to being the one that cannot question anything in her household and doing what she was told. It seems that she just started learning how to be independent and how to decid about herself. I really hope that she'll soon be more active and outspoken about things that are clearly not right instead of constantly being used. She also needs more people in her corner that'll help her in the upcoming times that definitely will be hard on her (once she finds out about everything).
I hope she will find out about everything as soon as possible. I know that it'll hurt her greatly (although she seems to feel that something is not entirely right but still gives her husband the benefit of the doubt), but I cannot stand everyone knowing except for her. She deserves the truth. And Roy Kim (her husband is trash - for me cheating is unforgivable so I hope they will not go this route).
I like how the drama is paced and how the plot's unfolding so far. The Doldam hospital team is unrivaled and it's great to see all of them again.
It was a bit of weird for me to watch episode 3 when it comes to ski jumping accident as I'm from a country in which this sport discipline is quite popular in winter and a lot of people watch competitions. There is no way that this jumper would have been allowed to jump in such difficult weather conditions (and there are actually almost none of Koreans participating). At the same time I like how fresh and original their ideas are when it comes to showing us various medical cases.
I'm so invested in the story and I wish I could see all episodes at once. Although they introduced many characters, each one of them is interesting and seems to have a purpose. There is still so much to the story and I think we'll witness many heartbreaking moments. I cannot wait once Kang Ho realizes his relationship with the twins (we already saw a snippet in 18 Again). Also, Mi Joo is one unlucky woman (it seems like her life is one big set of failures) so I hope she finally finds peace and happiness. It seems that these forced returns to the village are going to heal a lot of people.
The acting here is so impressive too as many mentioned - the main characters' acting range is insane. LDH is extremely talented and I cannot imagine anyone else as a mother than Ra Mi Ran. I also like that Yoo In Soo is here as he needs more exposure and when you see Kim Won Hae, you know it'll be funny (he shines being part of the supporting cast). Hope it continues to be as good as episode 4 which was an eobvious10 for me.
Kang Ho's tenacity is the same as his mother's and that's actually a good thing. It'll help him recover sooner.
It's not easy to take care of someone sick and I like that the mother is realizing that her previous methods were wrong. I think it's important to remember that she never wanted to cause him any harm but did it eventually trying to fulfill her aspirations. It's her chance to redeem herself. Actually, I think it's both their chance to see each other differently, for Kang Ho to realize who he wants to be as an adult, and for them both to become a real family. I know it seems that Kang Ho was a cold person driven by ambition but I don't believe it at this moment (at least not entirely).
I think it's also gonna be fun once Kang Ho becomes friends with Mi Joo's kids.
It's getting better! Uhm Jung Hwa is so effortlessly hilarious and Kim Byung Chul suits his role perfectly. I think it's going o be even more fun once she decides to take revenge.
Btw SML is just soo handsome that I can't wait for romantic scenes.
Such a great drama! I'm in awe and had so much fun watching it.
It was full of scary and gripping action mixed with emotional moments. I couldn't believe I actually laughed at times - it was executed so well. All the characters were relatable and seemed familiar. What's important, they behaved like teenagers on a verge of adulthood (although some of them were badass). Each one of them was memorable. We had a chance to see a vast range of emotions and different approaches to an apocalypse. It also made you think: how would you react in such a situation? Would you act as a team? Would you help a friend?
I'm sold on the premise of this drama and want to see more.
The only thing that could've been a bit better is that there were almost no scenes grom the world (apart grom the school). It wasn't a huge drawback but it could've given the show more depth.
I saw a comment on twitter recently that said that all the recent dramas were underwhelming - it's not true. You just have to have an open mind and look around a little.
I stopped watching this drama after 4 episodes as I felt that it'll disappoint me if I go on. Reading the comments I guess I was right. It's actually such a shame, because it seemed promising at first.
I love the guessing game! The plot keeps me entertaining and I like all the characters. It's been a great combination of action, comedy, mistery and romance so far. We are at 6 episodes and I feel like there are still so many things to unravel about all characters.
I'm not gonna lie, I'll watch everything with Woo Do Hwan lol.
I've enjoyed first two episodes though and I'll definitely watch the rest. The plot may seem predictable, but I don't mind as long as it's well-executed and characters are not annoying.
I was surprised to see this drama has 20 episodes, but at the same time, I think it will delve more into political issues further on, so the number of episodes will be justified.
I liked episode 2 more as it was more fast-paced - I hope it will not change in the upcoming episodes. The tension/chemistry between ML and FL is awesome and they both seem to be really interesting strong characters so I'm intrigued for now and want to see more. I also trust Park Hung Sik's choices when it comes to dramas - he rarely misses (although in the case of sageuks, you never know).
For the people who spend too much time discussing their looks - they are not important and everything is subject to certain preferences so there's no point shaming any of them. It's too much. Don't be that shallow.
This drama and Crash Course in Romance are both the best dramas currently airing. Lee Bo Young is outstanding in this role and the show is nicely written so far.
I think this drama would get more recognition if it was airing on some streaming platform.
I really hope that Dr. Cha will choose herself at the end - it's gonna be a shame if the ending will make her rely on a man.

Is there actually anyone enjoying the drama?

And they can kiss 😉
