If you understood the background of both of their stories I think what he is doing makes sense, it is Josean era…
I think you both should consider the fact that you are watching a historical drama. As you are probably aware in the past the marriages, especially royal ones, were simply political and had nothing to do with the morality, love or loyalty. Women barely had any rights. Therefore appying any modern approach here will definiteley make you unsatisifed as a viewer.
Wow, I love it. It's refreshing and addresses extremly important issue. I hope they keep up the pace until the end.
It was really frustrating watching this bullying monster in ep. 2, but the second part of the episode was utterly satysfying. There is also much room for improvment for Goo Ryun.
The idea of Joon Woong being in intern is also clever and fun to watch.
I'm convinced now that this is my favourite version of all. I'm in awe. And the friendship element is so well-done here. All characters have such an amazing chemistry. And it's so funny.
Am at ep 6 rn and I see that most people find Ohn Jo annoying while honestly I find almost all of the characters…
They're still kids - I found most of their behaviour quite believable even though annoying at times. Not everyone is made for fighting zombie apocalypse.
I don't need a season 2 for this drama. It was all so satisfying for me. Perfect in every way. This is more than…
Yes - that's what I also felt while watching this drama. It's not only about zombies - it tackles many important social issues and gives you a chance for reflection. If you watching carefully though.
I actually enjoyed this drama a lot (as much as you can enjoy all those gory scenes). There were some parts that did not live to the potential and some deaths felt unnecessary, but overall it was a pretty good show.
What I like the most is that it wasn't only about the zombies - this drama has a lot of undertones which shouldn't go unnoticed as it also depicts how easily we all can loose our humanity.
Those words of the science teacher strucked me the most: "There is no more hope. It's like every sin became concentrated and entered the human body. Even if we can conquer this virus, a world in which humanity rules will never return. Can we believe people are beautiful after seeing them turn into the absolute worse beings?"
I was sure that he can hear him in the first episode then he managed to change my mind but I was thinking how…
I felt the same 😄 at one point I was sure that he can see and hear Cha Young Min, but then he made me doubt myself, but then again I knew that there is no other way and he's aware of his surroundings. Kim Bum did an excellent job here. I'm looking forward to the future episodes.
The twist at the end of episode 4! I KNEW IT! It's going to be even more much fun from now on! I'm kind of surprised that there are not so many people checking out this drama as Rain, Kim Bum and Sung Dong Il all have amazing acting moments here.
Now I am curious if red sleeve is that good.Even for public broadcasting the ratings are good.Don't recognize…
The Red Sleeve is really well-produced and well-written drama and whole cast is exceptional (I would't call them "unknows" - they are all pretty recognizable to anyone who is not a stranger to Korean drama world, especially some of the veteran actors). But sageuks are not for anyone so I guess some people may find it difficult to get immersed into this type of a drama.
This was hands down one of the best historical dramas I've seen. It was well-written and Deok Im is going to be one of my favourite drama characters ever. We have seen an enormous growth of her character throughout the whole drama. Actually, all female characters were written nicely and had memorable backstories.
Junho was exceptional in his role as well. It's definig him as an amazing actor. The whole cast was great.
The last scene of episode 8 was pure perfection. I really like how they are slowly accepting their feelings that were buried for a long time, but definitely did not disappear. I just hope that they will be honest with each other and accept each other faults by being transparent about them.
For a community that loves watching series and movies from korea, there are lots of people who give 0 fucks about…
I said the same thing while having a discussion with others on drama's page - if you decide to watch a show from foreign country, you should take a note of cultural and historical implications. Obviously, people may watch the way they like (and in my opinion be ignorant as it's their choice), but then situation like this happens and people are bringing "cancel culture". Koreans have a right to influence how their history is perceived internationally and obviously Blue House cannot cancel the drama as SK is a democratic country. This is all on producers and broadcasting station as they failed to see all problematic issues (or ignored to see them) as they were blinded by money (or had other agenda).
Tbh the lack of any interest in history always baffled me as I think people should be aware what happened in the past if the don't want to make the same mistakes once again.

And I really like NJ - she's a cool person.
