How did Han-young know that Jin-ah was in danger? From his past life or simply adding 2+2. (And. . . . I think…
Yep the only reason the lawyer changed sides to become witness for prosecution was because KSJ told him to and reassured him he would be protected if he did so. Only ofc he didn't mean that.
KSJ is basically playing to get everyone out of his way, but also he doesn't want the entire corruption scheme to be revealed because he wants to take over it.

They always thought that the S shopping man was going to come after Jin A, so they were on high alert until he got arrested. When he was finally arrested he offered Jin A a "final chance" to work with him which she found weird but she told Han Young who then realised that in the week before the arrest he was looking for someone to do the killing so he could hear the good news in jail.
Kang Sin Jin ordered the hit- because he had conspired with him to bring down the family. So while yes he was working with the prosecution, KSJ only wanted him to cooperate to a point- then he was a liability and could come back to bite KSJ and his involvement
His #1 stated goal from the beginning was to destroy Jang Tae-shik and Kang Shin-jin. At some point, he made the…
He also has promised the law firm to See Hee (I assume he does mean it) so he may plan on removing the rest of the family from it. I don't see See Hee being particularly upset about her father being sent to jail, lol.
Also- I'm a little surprised the law firm isnt a bigger player in the corruption storyline. In the first episode See Hee's dad was introduced as this mastermind villain but he barely has an impact this time around.
I donβt think se hee was that bad in her previous life. Judging from her interaction with her mother in law…
It's weird, Han Young is so introspective about all the relationships from his previous life but he's weirdly lost on See Hee. And I don't get it, really. He needs to make up his mind.
Nothing we saw regarding their relationship in the past suggested Han Young should have expected loyalty from See Hee. Did he really expect that the woman he told he was divorcing (without caring about her opinion at all) because he refused to work with her father anymore would go out of her way to support him at personal expense?
And was he acting all mushy and sweet at that restaurant because Park Sin Jin would hear about it?
Thanks- I've been finding some of the word play between them a little hard to follow so I was assuming she said I wouldn't have gone even if he had begged me to. But that also implied she was stalking him right after telling him she was letting him go.
I think she was a little out of her depth socially too. But yeah, I think it was seeing Na Yeon that made her mind to leave. It was a little weird of him to invite her, I thought, given that she wasn't really part of the scam, working with the others in an active role.
I know Han Yeong is trying to do his best for her as well even after their troubled past (even from a non-romantic standpoint), but he's giving her very mixed signals and I wonder if even now he realises how insecure she is under all the bubbly rich girl behaviour?
She also may or may not have misunderstood the relationship between Han Yeong and Na Yeon given that he's already been teasing her about a woman he goes to restaurants with.
I don't understand the Haenal law firm angle. I get that See Hee's dad wants these big name legal minds in his company as signs of prestige but he keeps going for honourable types? Does he think that Baek Ye Seok is going to join him in his legal corruptions when he's so morally upright? When they talk about 'taming' Baek Ye Seok does he think he'll own him after he makes him chief justice?
I get that Han Yeong may be starting to clean house as his revenge on the firm- getting good guys into the company, potentially driving out his corrupt ex-in laws. He keeps promising the firm to See Hee who doesn't seem to want it that badly in this timeline. But what does Haenal get from this?
Say what you will about it being a typical lakorn and the fact that there's very little logic, there's never a dull moment! There's always so much happening! Pu's been acting like he's masterminding everything but wow is it all crashing around him now. You can't be the mastermind and be so messy, lol.
But also, I haven't always been paying the most attention but I'm so confused, what about that nice lady that Panalee drove away earlier? I thought she was the love of his life? Was that a distraction?
The FL's friend is either really stupid or cunning and a snake because why the hell does she go around telling…
Omg yes! They're not showing her as having bad intentions so it really confuses me whether she's doing it on purpose or if she's genuinely just completely clueless. "You're both dating other people."
She also told the FL that it seems like the ML might marry the 2FL soon! I can understand thd villagers gossiping about it but not one of his close friends?!!
I might have to pause this one until it ends because this is a lot angst to watch in real time.
Doesn't help that I personally find it difficult to empathise with Gang Hui. Sure her childhood was difficult but she has a group of friends who would bury a body for her and a dad who loves her, all of whom she punishes along with herself. Also, she may be a talented designer but she got hella lucky professionally by meeting the right people. So I guess I dont understand why she tries so hard to make herself miserable when there is also so much good in her life.
i think this drama is going to be a psychological romance with lot of difficulties and agony .... it is going…
I'm starting to get flashbacks from the Dear HyeRi days, lol. You have a couple with trauma and baggage trying to come to terms with their past. And because they suck at communication its going to be unnecessarily emotionally difficult.
Meanwhile I'm continually distracted by the upbeat b-plots: does the librarian friend fancy the guy from the tractor? What trouble is the SFL who liberates puppies in her free time going to get up to? Is the SML going to have another plot beyond being in love with the FL? And hopefully the FL achieves professional success.
Really π No encounter is first encounter in dramas.I can understand YS's pov. He saw SG protecting GH, so YS…
And with her being completely out of communication over the years, there's nothing preventing him from jumping to the conclusion that they've been together since then. Sigh.
Since we're not getting a definitive answer beyond the generic old, childhood friends. I will continue to spread my propoganda that I think their parents have some kind of history (without them actually being biologically related).
Its why at the funeral the village elders were talking about how inappropriate it was that both his mum and her dad continued to stay at the village and one of them should have left. Also that sneering comment by GH to her dad about him looking like the mother's husband when he helped her up after she fell.
Wait, so is Yeon Su the only one who made the connection that Seok Gyeong and Gang Hui have already met before? Have the other two not made that connection? Heaven forbid someone truly meets for the first time during a drama, lol.
the original character has amber eyes, that might be why.
Brown eyes are dominant but from what I understand (although I haven't done genetics in a while) eye colour inheritance is much more complicated than the brown dominant, blue recessive punnett squares they drilled us with in all our science classes. I think there are 16(?) genes that decide the final colour so its not always that clear cut.
Like you say, not likely but again that doesn't mean its impossible. It's plausible enough that I'm choosing to unquestioningly go with that bit, lol. I'm sure I'm going to get stuck on another detail at some point.

He needs to figure out what he wants after his revenge.

Might even be ex step cousins, since we really don't know the family tree beyond the grandfather that they seem to weirdly share.
