You're right, Yeon U is the only one who has made any progress. He's a lot less annoying since they broke up. I also thought that he could have been less nice to Mi Eun early on but tbh the only reason Mi Eun was a problem in their relationship was because So Jin was either being insecure or running around like a headless chicken on some ridiculous mission. I think So Jin got a pass because she didnt realise Gang Hoon was interested in her but they have such an enmeshed relationship.

I think this is basically how i watch this drama now- instead of questioining the subtitles I just believe that the man they're showing is actually a woman because there's no reason why that isn't possible.

I've noticed that generally she gives good relationship advice. Unless it involves her, then she completely loses her mind.
I was offended for So jin when she was calling her strange- because who are you? Even tho I'll be the first one to call the FL a nut.

The delusion runs so deep in these people. I thought oh 2FL has had her realisation today. No of course she hasn't- why would anyone in this drama have any personal growth. Although, some credit to ML he's taken a few steps forward.

Also, side eyeing Gang Hoon's love for FL when he treats her like a child, doesnt tell her anything that's going on but tells her ways to protect herself with 0 context. How could this possibly go wrong?

That very brief scene with the 2FL and 2ML was kind of cute. Its the least annoying they've both been in the last few weeks. If only they'd given us more of that instead of those two awful triangles. The mains didn't even need the second leads to cause problems in their relationship- they do a great job of it themselves.

Also, that twist at the end! Bet no-one predicted that, LMAO

YES, LMAO. I cant stop laughing. They couldn't go with the usual secret evil twin trope (for whatever reason) so this was how they decided to change it up a little.
They're having the same actor play both Andrea and the twin, right? Which is certainly a choice.

Oh they're all horribly inconsistent that way. Gang Hoon was skeptical of the DNA theories and the DNA lover idea until it turned out he was the DNA lover. Then he looks at her notice board with misty eyes.

That is the sensible prediction based on what we can see so far, but a girl can wish, lol.
And then what does poor desperate Gang Hoon who has started becoming annoying and territorial do? Is he going to just step back and cry in the red scarf he's he's knitting because he realises that the main two love each other.

The annoying thing about the FL is that you think she has a realisation but then no- shes just managed to manipulate the realisation to agree with her existing theory. This makes her a rubbish scientist.

You think she's realised that you can't force your partner to behave how you want in love, but no, now she's going to force herself to love who she thinks will behave how she wants in a partner.

The fact that the 2ML's dad (who is a proper romantic) is completely oblivious to this prospect makes me think it won't happen.

The man got more excited about the 'woman who gave the book'- although with the number of episodes left I think he might be disappointed if he had any hopes for the 2FL, lol.

This drama has got me cheering for Father Andreas now because why are ALL these characters like this? How can all four mains be so annoying in completely different ways? When is this going to stop? Father Andreas, make this stop!

Only don't make Gang Hoon's dad sad- he's the only one I like. It's interesting how he hasn't figured out the non-romance going on between the two.

Ahhhhh...That actually makes a lot of sense! I had assumed that the real Hye Ri disappeared quite recently as an adult and that was the trigger for the second personality. I assume she wasn't disassociating when she was with Hyeon Oh- he would have have figured something was going on in 8 years. So it's actually the break up that's the trigger. Or since we don't know how long ago they broke up, something else may have happened more recently.

But Hye Ri being much younger explains the very weird romance with Ju Yeon. Its the one plot that makes me feel uncomfy but I couldn't say why. But its because its literally your textbook romance plot that was created in the imagination of a teenage girl who read too many romance novels!!! The whole "he's not nice to anyone except the one he's in love with" and she actually alludes to reading things in webnovels- that's her source material. Yikes- poor Ju Yeon if the brother trauma wasn't bad enough, finding out about this is going to shake him just as he decided to live life. But then again, he willingly decided to get closer to the strange woman who basically forced herself on him. So who knows

Yes, thats my read on it too. I think the real Eun Ho personality-wise might be somewhat between the current Eun Ho and Hye Ri but whatever happened changed Eun Ho and the Hye Ri personality is compensating for that.

She's Ji On's sister. (The other guy who has a crush on her). So I guess it could make sense why she feels some kind of way about Eun Ho but dunno why she's talking to ML about it

I agree. But also (and this may be giving too much credit to the writing) does this show how broken So Jin is? Because the reasons she gave for considering Gang Hoon are so flimsy. Those things are the bare minimum you'd expect from an old friend- it doesn't mean you have to date them all.

So no, they're not officially dating, lol. And a lot of my assumptions are based on the promo for E13. So it may happen differently.

But basically at the end of E12 she has a bit of realisation that omg I ignored 2ML, but he's always been by my side and always supported me. And hes my DNA lover!!!

The promo for E13 shows lots of hand holding between FL/2ML but the ML is back in the picture as well. The SFL gives the ML an ultimatum that he should tell FL how he feels but if FL rejects him, he should give 2FL a chance

I'm a little impressed by how little has happened in the drama. None of these people had any kind of personal growth. I guess the 2FL has decided to give monogamy a try but that whole plot is weird. I thought So Jin was going to realise that DNA and destiny wasn't everything but nope she has now decided that the 2ML is the man for her!!!

There are only 4 episodes left. Are we going to address the boatloads of baggage these people have or are we going to just watch So Jin flit about trying to decide between the two men in pastel toned cuteness? Are we supposed to forget that her mother calls another woman her daughter? And I dont even know where to start with ML's baggage.

And dont forget the murder mystery in the background! At this point I hope he gets one or two of the mains, but I usually dont get what I want, lol.

(The teaser for E13 really annoyed me into a rant)

I think the whole point will be that you can have certain genes but that doesn't mean that it forms your destiny.

I do think the ML and FL will be endgame. But I dont know what this means for the second pair. Altho I guess even she's flexible about her theories- I wasnt paying a lot of attention to her talk show but wasnt she saying something along the linee of how you can be polyamorous but choose to be with a single person.

Also it looks like 2ML's dad is shipping him with the 2FL!
