I’ve noticed that what’s referred to as “polyamory” in Kdramas isn’t really that, it just seems to be…
No, no. I think we're concluding that even though in the show the 2FL and everyone around her say that she's polyamorous... she actually isn't?
Basically she's just a single woman who goes on casual dates. It's not clear how involved she is with any of her dates but as she's only shown stalking the ML or eating from a street food cart I dont think she's very involved or there are many guys.
I genuinely don't understand why there is so much focus on the love triangles.
Could be wrong, but I got the feeling by the end of this episode that maaaybe the 2ML might have accepted that he's missed his chance so he may step back now?
It seems like the 2FL will continue her deranged chase of a man who has repeatedly told her he's not interested in her.
Srsly. I'm ~20 minutes into episode 5, and I am largely annoyed, not amused
Right??!! I was thinking that they both outrank them, why can't they tell them to stay out of their personal lives? We're also told how good of manager Yun Seo is and there was a whole monologue about how scary she is at work. But is she really?

Saaame. They guy was kind of annoying from day 1 but they were verging on unbearable this episode. It looks like they're going to be over involved and meddling throughout. Bleh
I thought the DNA compatibility plot was wearing a little thin but the polyamory side plot is even more tedious. And is the 2FL even polyamorous given how she keeps chasing the ML?
I'm assuming both women are going to give up their relationship theories at the end? Is that the point?
The problem is that I feel like as we go along more of Gang Hun's plot will be with the 2FL and its too early…
He's probably going to change too, lol. I don't know if I should take what she says at face value but didn't she imply that guys like him can really get fired up or something. I'm all for her being proven wrong so lets see!
The only likeable character is Gang Hun ... the rest is kinda annoying especially 2FL I hope he gets more screen…
The problem is that I feel like as we go along more of Gang Hun's plot will be with the 2FL and its too early to say whether she drags him down or he brings her up...
Lots happening in this episode. I'm sorry but both CEK and HYR had the patience of Job with that chick that was…
I knew that the affair wasn't going to survive for long when it was in the open but even I didnt expect it to collapse so spectacularly and so quickly. Did they not talk to each other at all between illicit hooking up and taking engagement pictures? Its like their relationship was sustained by their shared disdain for Eun Kyung.
But I don't think Ji Sang is going to do anything once he loses custody. It's his defeat in the way their break up was for Sa Ra. Jae Hee is not expendable to him in the way Eun Kyung and Sa Ra were, and she's going to deliver his punishment by rejecting him. Since its a family drama we're probably going to see Eun Kyung being the bigger person and brokering some kind of peace between them.
Then again, there are still 7 episodes left so who knows if its just going to get more unhinged.
I'm a little surprised that I'm enjoying this on the whole but maybe its because I was keeping my expectations low. They are testing my patience by continuing to build up Mi Jin's character through her absence, though. We've got a pretty good background on our main players so let's see So Jin already now, lol. I'm curious why she agreed to this arrangement to begin with. And why is she the red wine fairy?
What??? FR?I am so excited for this and seeing the ML's determination to protect his love in the teaser has made…
Oh, she was the only woman I recalled seeing with the ML in the trailers so I wasn't sure if thats who you meant. Even if there is a triangle I don't think it should be too much of a threat. I keep telling myself that there are only ten episodes, how much could they complicate what looks like a pretty straight forward story? Lol

If you mean the woman in the trailer who enters the building on the ML's arm-- that's his sister-in-law. So she's unlikely to be involved with the leads like that but there could be plot-device misunderstandings I guess
Admittedly, I've only read the first 40/50 chapters but from what I could tell there was very little about Si…
Contract marriages are evidently much less controversial than age gap stories! Lol. Possibly? Si Won's wife was a very minor character as far as I got. I don't think she was seen or even named. So at this point we can only guess what direction the show chooses with Mi Jin. Maybe they were arranged by their parents, maybe they chose each other because there would be no family opposition for them to ignore their marriage and live their own lives.
I'm curious about the comments below... why does everyone seem rooting for the second couple Seo Si Won and Lee…
Admittedly, I've only read the first 40/50 chapters but from what I could tell there was very little about Si Won and his wife in the webtoon. Basically after a failed attempt at rebellion with another woman Si Won ends up marrying someone his mother approves of. And they seem to be happy together. But just because it worked out for him, he doesnt necessarily support the mother's schemes.
So I think the excitement for Si Won and Mi Jin is mostly anticipating its potential. It seems like it'll be a contract marriage plot which people enjoy. Then there's the fact that Park So Jin and Yoon Park were recently paired together in Delightfully Deceitful and they had pretty good chemistry there.
tempted to tune in only for yoon park and park sojin... i loved their chemistry in delightfully deceitful
Same! Especially since the promo pictures show shades of a similar dynamic to delightfully deceitful where he looks at her in confused bemusement, lol.
How are these cheaters so shameless? What kind of delusional world they are living in to believe that they can…
Right?! Even if Eun Kyung hadn't found out about the affair and they'd gotten divorced. How exactly was this going to work out? Like, oh yes after the divorce I just fell in love with my ex-wife's assistant? Hopefully their latest plan blows in their face quickly.
Well! I certainly wasn't expecting that revelation at the end!
I'm glad Han Soo's optimism and unshakeable faith has come down a notch because it was a tad unbearable. Episode 2, I even found his chats with his family kind of sweet, lol.
I'm a little unsure whether I should find the middle brother suspicious or not. A chaebol power struggle where everyone is well-adjusted and honest apart from the crude black sheep half-brother? It's never that straight forward.
He threatened to tell her family about her fatal illness and was flabbergasted when she turned that weapon around…
It shows us more of Hae-In's character. She was willing to keep it a secret and spare her family the pain as long as she was the one carrying the burden. But she wasn't going to keep the secret at the expense of Hyun Woo's reputation/she wasn't going to let it be used to hurt her people.
I do enjoy a failed blackmail scheme! And good on Hae-In for being fearless as ever.
I'm also enjoying all the side plots, tbh. Even the villains don't annoy me as much since the reveal because things aren't going in their favour constantly and as their alliances continue to fracture, Hae-In and Hyun-Woo are strengthening.
I hope Hyun Woo's dad also manages to win over his nemesis. If the Queens side gets back their place in society they'll need their in laws to be political, lol.
I wondered the same thing about the baby. I'd have believed it if we found out another way but Da Hye admitting…
Exactly!! That's what I think so too. We know there's a redemption arc coming for her but this is a pretty wholesome drama so there will be a limit to how much will be forgiven.
