Kluea is the worst type of character. First he tries to kiss someone who's passed out (pretending aside) then…
In fairness on the second part it's entirely Plawan that was in the wrong and it was right for Kluea to tell about Metas having a plant given the ONE thing he didn't want in this competition was Metas' influence.

So I disliked the ML more than half the K drama villains I've experienced. I've not finished but his actions just keep irking me with every new episode. He cares about what he did to his kids for a total of two seconds then giggles to himself when he realises he's WIPED OUT his BEST FRIEND's beloved family? And then he doesn't even bother trying to make sure he'd righted his other wrongs when he's forced to go back again instead selfishly hiding from his wife AGAIN. I found myself rooting for bad things to happen to him often.

Same happend with "Absolut Zero" and both were great.Don't know why age is sooo an issue nowadays... It's not…
Child and teen actors for TIME have grown up to tell people how exploited they were on set in their youth and how it affected their development and people like you just don't listen.

You really heard people telling fans to stop being weird about ships irl because it's just acting and took it to another level. Just because it's acting doesn't mean it doesn't require a certain level of intimacy to play the lead in a romance with another person. Let alone an adult who you are contractually obligated to be intimate with and who you're societally obligated to listen to and trust because they're significantly your senior. This isn't just one or two scene, its a whole series playing a romantic lead. This isn't a peer, it's someone significantly their senior. There's a reason so many acting partners end up dating after doing shows together. And again, there's a reason we don't have a BUNCH of 16 year olds playing against 28 year olds in more things and it's not because of lack of talent.

You can call me seeing this one instance of a child being contractually obligated to do intimate scenes with a 30 year old seeing objectitication everywhere if you want to? Not sure where you got that from but go ahead. I'll take whatever that makes me. I think it's kinda weird you're going so hard to bat for watching a 16 year old make out with a 30 year old but you do you, I guess?

Idk, maybe because I think it's a communal responsibility to protect children? Adults, including parents (ESPECIALLY parents in the entertainment industry), exploit children all the time and do things that aren't in their best interest all the time. There's a reason the industry have adults play teenagers most of the time, especially in romantic settings and especially when playing alongside people 10+ years older than them and it's not because there aren't talented 16 year olds out there... Or did you think that was the reason?

Fictional age gap is very different from real life age gap where one person is 16. Just like fictional mafia exists and people enjoy those stories but I'd think most people wouldn't root for actual murderers in real life.

I'm sorry that this was your experience.

How old are you now? And do you find 16 year olds emotionally and physically attractive yourself now that you're presumably older?

In some places the age of consent is still in single digits, do you feel your statement still applies in those places too?

What are you on about? Everyone in absolute zero cast are in their 20s. There's not a single 16 year old in site. Are you confusing the in universe ages with the age of the actors?

People's parents sell them into child marriages from age of 10. Parental input into kids in the entertainment industry isn't an indicator of anything. Stage parents exploit their kids literally all the time.

The choice to cast a literal child and and adult was... Something. 😬 I'd heard vague murmors but I didn't realise he was 16 playing alongside a 28 year old 😬 it's a shame. I was looking forward to the Thai adaptation if not for that.

I mean he worked 3 days straight doing a weeks work apparently without eating to surprise her. (was surprised…
I was trying to say that his effort shows that he cared. People don't work themselves ragged when they could be chill if they don't care. He could have got 4 days off just for working over the weekend but he not only prioritised but went above and beyond so he could be there with her.

I know *she* says she had to remind him but we don't actually know the reality of the situation. She constantly goes overboard. Just like he took care of himself before he was with her so the stuff she is doing is likely not necessary for his survival, her reminding him is potentially her needing him to communicate with her about it more in advance than he was going to but the problem is that she also doesn't communicate that with him. And that's seen with this whole situation. She was specifically told to tell him how she feels and even that she doesn't want to have to remind him of their anniversary (which, had she brought up the conversation she'd have known she didn't have to anyway) but instead she chose to only confide more and more in Judy about it. She needs more from him but she doesn't communicate that and this has been their dynamic for years so it's hard to break out from. He doesn't need more from her and he can handle what he clearly thinks is her way of caring so he wouldn't have a reason to be the one to bring it up so the conversation needs to be brought up by her.

And actually we don't know if she *had* to remind him of their anniversary or if she just reminded him anyway. Like if she reminded him this year she'd have thought she was the only reason he remembered but he had it highlighted in his calendar and remembered it without her.

I was just responding to the fact that you said you were surprised he was upset.

In terms of her worrying over him - he didn't ask for any of that as far as we know. She's choosing for it to be the way she shows care but he managed his life before her, he would manage his life if she backed off a bit. In fact she has been extremely over bearing to the point it affected their work at work and he hasn't even chastised her for that.

Like I said, I do think they're not a fit because she clearly needs more than Tae can give but I think she'd have similar problems with anybody if she brings that amount of energy to the relationship. She's doing it because she's insecure about his feelings for her which is why I like her and Judy together in theory (well, apart from the fact they cheated.) She calms tf down around Judy bc she's not insecure in that space and I think that's best for everybody involved.

No fr. I think I said it last episode that if he wasn't the protagonist Ryan would have been fired by now. He's kind of a bad intern 😂

Ngl I think Judy was going after Bha Mee. A lot of her comments in the run up to the anniversary felt very pointed and who just sits there with two burgers if they're happy eating one?... As a supervisor I wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't also fully aware of the workload of the production team during that time. Like, I don't want to think she's been insidious because I do actually like her and Bha Mee together because I think BM calms tf down around her because she doesn't feel as insecure but yeah. It very much felt like Judy was going for this.

You keep posting this but it's mostly untrue. I general fans clown on cheaters irrelevant of their gender or sexuality. I think your bias is blinding you. There was recently a BL where someone DREAMT of cheating and the comments went crazy and they didn't even actually cheat. Like...

I mean he worked 3 days straight doing a weeks work apparently without eating to surprise her. (was surprised she was just hurt by him not eating her sandwich and not concerened that he hadn't moved or eaten)

I think in the end they'll stay broken up because I do think she needs more than Tae can give her but it's real sad that it had to be this way. Poor bubba.

What I really like about this is that these leads really said we're here to learn. They make mistakes and miscommunicate out of the gate but then they really try and learn from them and get so much better for it.

I know you've said it differs a lot but can you give a handful examples of changes you feel worsened it? Bc the books are almost always better than any screen adaptations but I'm intrigued as to by how much
