It's just so endlessly and endearingly cute, I can't. Got me giggling even after it's finished airing. I actually cried a little today too during Achis monologue about being seen 😭
I enjoy watching My Demon. No complaint. I just want to ask for your opinion about one detail. Why didn't Madam…
It's selfish to give someone pain they can't process knowing you won't be there to experience the consequences. Telling her then doesn't better her life in any way. Maybe if she told her while she was alive that would be one thing.
It's so very sad that this show never got back up after its nosedive in quality / coherence. It's pretty bad when you're rooting for one of the MLs to die just to get it over with. Even Meen Ping being cutsie couldn't save me from Guy towards the end.
The fact the bad guys walked into hand to hand range of Tew instead of shooting their range weapons at range + the fact the authorities just let off Boss and Tew after they literally massacred a mansion full of people. I'm cackling.
There's a whole lot of giggling and feet kicking going on ngl. I just love this adaptation though I do have a TayNew bias as DBK was the first BL that properly hooked me into BLdom. I really like the second couple more here already and, as expected Tay New are being absolute cuties. I think I really like Tay's range and how distinct some of his characters feel.
Every week I watch this and just think Sprite is so out of pocket for actively disrupting his brother's life like this and making these really big out of character choices for him knowing he has to step back into it. Of course actual team work is better in a team sport but at the end of the day it's Zee's life and Zee's choice if he wants to be antisocial and what Sprite is doing is essentially setting Zee up to be a bigger bad guy when he returns and wants to be himself and doesn't want to be pally with people and has no connection in these relationshipe. It's then gonna be worse for the team mates because it would caus additional upset for the team.Obviously because it's a drama we know the team will find out it was Sprite etc but Sprite in universe doesn't know that and that's a real crappy thing to do your brother if so.
I have such a massive bias for this kind of story I can't even pretend to be objective. Absolutely bawled at multiple points. Would I have liked to see more? Maybe. But I think all the actors did a fantastic job here and the writing was warm and funny.
ROFL. I love the bar scene in ep 3 where the bartender talked about "nobody actually exists and that time doesn't…
It's ironic the Cupid Reaper suggests erasing Mek is immoral given that the whole premise is innately immoral. Why should any one person have the power to completely erase someone else from existence at all irrelevant of whether they were an activist at all. If the reaper thinks it's so evil and they're so against evil then he's evil for even offering it in the first place.
okay noting that i KNOWWWWW this is classic BL drama and u cant go off real life stuff etc etc, my thoughts on…
I fairness I think Shin has always been mean and they've put up with it. People who are friends with people like that have to also have a dark side. They can't all be clouds and rainbows as they appeared up until last / this ep.
Shin is acting dumb but this time I got to give it to him, his friends are top tier assholes 🤦🏻♀️Oab…
I think for Oab he didn't make a move because he just thought Shin didn't see anyone like that and it wasn't until he started being around Peach that Oab was like wait, he DOES want that, why not me. Obviously I'm not saying his actions aren't sucky but I can see why it's happening NOW of all times.Unfortunately this whole misunderstanding and conflict was super rushed so it felt really contrived anyway. Like all of a sudden they were in a relationship and in a blink of an eye they're already in turmoil.
Really liking this so far. The chemistry, the sass, the interactions between almost every character are priceless. I hope we get a butt load of domesticity coming up while we deal with the mysteries of the killers. Even if one of them is currently borderline cartoon villain haha.
I just realized that I, at least, didn't notice any other language dubbing! And I didn't catch any random English!…
There was at least one bit of random English this ep but it felt much more organic and like the kind of thing you'd actually switch to English for. If I recall it was something like "Looking good bro". I can't remember exactly what but I remember noticing it and giving them a metaphorical pat on the back.
I'm really sad because I looooooove time travel as a genre so very very much. So much so that honestly I'm very forgiving when watching time travel media because I've watched so much of it and not all of it can be 10/10. As such, I started this series off with an open heart and excitement. This started out so promising and the earlier episodes were good. They had a lot of heart, they introduced the conflict well, they were well shot and made me invested in the MLs. As the series goes on though it does just sort of devolve into mostly flashbacks (without deliniated timelines), different cuts of people crying in slightly different locations and slow motion shots - all with very little plot progression.
I relish a good slow burn but this is next level and it all slows down AFTER we get the majority of the burn itself which is wild to see. And the story beats in the latter half are just too predictable to be worth forgiving the pacing. I think this could definitely have been cut down to a 10 or even 8 episode series and held the purpose of the story that is trying to be told at the quality of the earlier episodes. I hope next ep they have something occuring worth wading through the last couple of hours.
I'd maybe have been willing to try and push through more of this show if the comments didn't show that it's actively harmful to the way people view what's appropriate to do to someone you have a crush on. Describing literal stalking and then saying it's not stalking is genuinely scary. It's as if it's a version of My Beautiful Man with far less nuance. I'm a little concerned.
I understand they're happy cause they're not going to prison so they want to celebrate, but they're acting like…
The problem is how would the even take precaution against that? They were literally in a crowded public place and they werent alone. They have cameras and stuff at their house. What was the other option, just lock themselves away until they have no food or money?I don't know how they can prove it but I hope their dad gets his comeuppance HARD in the finale. I'll be swimming in the joys of his downfall.
how tf does this have such a high rating? it was so obvious who was endgame, they just dragged out the love triangle…
Because it's not always the destination, it's the journey. It is very very rare that we ever get past episode 1 of a BL not knowing who is endgame anyway.
