Zhang Wan Yi is so regal omg. The way he is so proper and elegant looks so natural, like he was born with noble blood in him. And his voice my god! He's young but he feels so manly. I dropped LYF after the first few episodes so I didn't have much of an impression of him but now I'm in love.
Bruh the way I had a very similar argument with my mom right before I watched today's episode! I related to it so much a laughed at the way mom and daughter made up because that's exactly how it happens!
I don't think I've seen a spin-off being confirmed before the main drama starts airing! This just shows how deep and multi-dimensional the characters may be. Well I'm definitely SAT for this!
Cheng Lei for this role is the most on-point casting I've ever seen. In fact if you bring his character from MJTY and drop him here it might work out too! I'm so excited omggg
Xu Kai dramas might but Tan Songyun dramas never miss! I'm happy I watched this. Xu Kai was so good here, his eyes do all the talking. This couple was so cute!
I'm sorry I feel like the cast wasn't a good fit for this story at all. Of course the actors are extremely talented but they did not suit these roles. As an avid reader and fanatic of Chinese palace intrigue books, I'm obviously aware that ages set by writer are quite young and don't match the actions and intelligence of the characters. This is mostly due to the time regression plots. But that doesn't translate well onto live-action. How am I supposed to believe that these baby-faced kids are scheming up storms and intimidating anyone? Especially the Crown Prince! Su Rongqing was convincing though, because I wanted to slap him at every moment.
Take THE DOUBLE for instance. Mature looking actors made that show! The characters were supposed to be teenagers but the director chose older-looking actors for the plot to seem convincing!
Suzy has an eye for choosing her dramas. How smart she is to star in While You Were Sleeping and Start Up, both of which have the best first episodes I've ever seen.
The perfect cliché but not-so-cliché drama for whenever I'm in a slump! It's funny and cute and makes me feel like a giggly teenager even though I'm a whole adult.
Best drama ever, forget Yang Yang, I was drooling over all the other characters! The charisma radiating off of them, you'd think Yang Yang was a rookie actor in the midst of veterans.
