I love this drama to bits and pieces. If you love slowburn romance that will send butterflies fluttering in your stomach, this is it! Not to mention the strong, smart and kind FL everyone looks for. ML and FL are on the same footing (mentally) and that was the best part.

Personally I'm obsessed with it. There are not many dramas where you can immediately tell that the quality is way above others. The plot is complicated but the direction, acting and soundtrack are mesmerizing. In my opinion this is what an S class drama should be like. Don't miss out until you try it yourself.

As a hardcore wuxia fanatic I'm absolutely in love with this show. The quality is top notch in all aspects. I was trembling to my bones when I learned Guo Jingming was directing it and nearly died when the trailer came out. And so far it hasn't disappointed me one bit. This is a psychological mystery thriller so people looking for romance be warned because it's not what you're here for.

A really funny joke that I'm sure flew over a lot of people's heads is when Hongjo tries to use magic to open the box while she's on a video call with Shinyu. First she tries the classic rubbing the lamp to get the genie out trick. Second, she tries to get it to open using the Open Sesame spell. Third, she chants some Buddhist mantras to get it to open. Then she requests it to open in Chinese since it could have been from ancient China. Lastly! She wants do the magician's abracadabra, but instead of performing a spell she sings and dances to the song Abracadabra by Brown Eyed Girls! And she's like "see? I even did abracadabra." Which I found to be the funniest thing ever.

I really hate it when people call characters like Hongjo childish or immature. Woman literally studied her ass off to get a job, is dedicated to her work, treats everyone nice, and is all alone with everyone around bullying her. Amidst all this she manages to stay positive for her dad and ignores her grievances to fit in among people. That's strong af, not immature. People want her to kick ass and what not but sorry she ain't rich and has no support behind her like other kdrama girlies do. Her job is the only thing she has and she wants to keep it, thanks. And calling her cringey and stuff because god forbid a woman act silly and wear her heart on her sleeve. She's sweet and adorable I love her.
