I like this drama no matter what people say. XQ's problems are real and raw. They are nowhere as easy to overcome as people are making it seem. I simply adore the fact that SY is the one who decides to accept her because she clearly has more at stake. You can't even blame her for 10 years ago because she was a helpless and coerced kid at that time. Her indecisiveness now is causing him pain and annoyance. When he chooses to love her he faces nothing but humiliation and opposition from her family. But when she chooses to love him she faces the being abandoned by her family that she feels in debt to. She doesn't know about how her family harassed his and how he's been working hard to narrow the gap between them. Because he doesn't tell her shit. By now he must have realised that she isn't aware of this but he doesn't let her know. That's why she's so uncertain and afraid. Afraid that once she chooses to disobey her family and go to him he might not even be as serious about the relationship as she is. That she might get abandoned by him too when he's had enough of the opposition from her family. If only he tells her yes I love you and I'll fight for you so fight for me too. It's so simple why don't people understand. Her situation is not a child's play.

Anyone who comes here crying about how a romance drama doesn't deserve a 9.2 rating can go to hell. This is what happens when a drama is perfect from start to end. If it kept me laughing and smiling for 25 episodes straight, it gets a 10/10 from me!!
Although the super heart-fluttering first kiss scene in the book made me scream like a dolphin, this first kiss scenario is so much more suitable for her sweet age and his inexperience. Makes sense that he isn't a macho man who knows all the ins and outs of physical intimacy.
I must say that one of things I hate about c dramas is how they have a token chubby person a there are lots of…
Qian Fei is an essential part of the friend group. He's the one character that brought the leads together. He's not a token chubby guy in this drama for sure.
can you please tell me in which ep leads start dating?? and is there any breakup??if yes in which ep?
Towards the very end, and there is no breakup. It has only 16 episodes and the relationship of the 5 friends is more in focus than the couple relationship.
Listening to You Are My Only Wish by Zhang Bichen is giving me gooesebumps from head to toe! I know I'll cry my eyes out when it finally plays in the drama. I've read the novel and it suits them more than any other OST. Listen to it now people!!!!
I keep commenting the same thing every episode but I'm amazed by how much of a classic romcom this is! Tripping and falling into his arms? Getting drunk and opening hearts to each other? Stuck at a remote island because of unfavourable weather conditions? Him catching her crying by herself?! This has all the cliches and I love it for that!
