God, the actress for the FL wasn't here to play! I don't think I've seen a better presentation of a woman pretending to be a man, where she is actually supposed to be convincing. Her voice, her posture, her mannerisms... So brilliant! I think I'm in love!
I suggest you to re-watch. This time, don't expect. Just accept. It will show you something meaningful.
I don't really see what's meaningful about being falsely blamed time and time again and never fully earning the trust of the person you love. All I can accept is that Li SuSu was an awful lover. Allow people to be disappointed.
People need to accept that the writing got sloppy towards the end. So many loose threads. Imagining what happens to most of the characters doesn't make sense because I would've just read the book then. What's the point of making such a high budget drama with such efforts if they're not gonna do well till the end? Liking the actors doesn't mean I have to blindly praise everything they're in. The first half gets a 10 from me and the second a solid 7. Overall, an 8.5. And the ending is tragic sorry. Saying philosophical crap like "TTJ was happy with his decision blah blah" is so dumb. All the man wanted for three lives was to live with his wife in peace without being blamed for things he didn't do. And no he didn't get that in the end. Call is tragic like it is. No such thing as open or happy here! You can recommend it to people that don't mind sad endings but please stop advertising it as happy. I'm sure many would appreciate not being disappointed.
This was kinda exhausting to watch.I LOVED this so much in the beginning but from the halfway point forward it…
Agree! Loved the characters to bits but the story isn't doing it for me. 8.4 would be a more fitting score for this. Imagine expecting something amazing from that 8.9 and watching this ending!
