I suggest you to re-watch. This time, don't expect. Just accept. It will show you something meaningful.
I don't really see what's meaningful about being falsely blamed time and time again and never fully earning the trust of the person you love. All I can accept is that Li SuSu was an awful lover. Allow people to be disappointed.
People need to accept that the writing got sloppy towards the end. So many loose threads. Imagining what happens to most of the characters doesn't make sense because I would've just read the book then. What's the point of making such a high budget drama with such efforts if they're not gonna do well till the end? Liking the actors doesn't mean I have to blindly praise everything they're in. The first half gets a 10 from me and the second a solid 7. Overall, an 8.5. And the ending is tragic sorry. Saying philosophical crap like "TTJ was happy with his decision blah blah" is so dumb. All the man wanted for three lives was to live with his wife in peace without being blamed for things he didn't do. And no he didn't get that in the end. Call is tragic like it is. No such thing as open or happy here! You can recommend it to people that don't mind sad endings but please stop advertising it as happy. I'm sure many would appreciate not being disappointed.
This was kinda exhausting to watch.I LOVED this so much in the beginning but from the halfway point forward it…
Agree! Loved the characters to bits but the story isn't doing it for me. 8.4 would be a more fitting score for this. Imagine expecting something amazing from that 8.9 and watching this ending!
Love the cast they did such a good job, but writers you have failed me. Sad to see a brilliant drama come to this kind of conclusion. The ending isn't even the problem, it's how half-assed the story became at one point!
I want to know if the second CP has explosive chemistry in the novel or something because I've seen some really hardcore fans that make romantic edits of them and get mad that they aren't getting more screentime. I'm confused whether they are the character CP fans or the actors' CP fans. I mean, I wasn't even aware that anyone could tolerate watching them for more than 3 minutes straight.
If anyone is planning on reading the novel... don't. It will only get harder to wait for the drama, trust me. The novel is extremely good and you'll go nuts with impatience.
Am I the only one who loved the dream arc? It was all my xianxia dreams come true! Seeing the gods have their fights and their costumes so matched to their powers and identities was so awesome! Gods are supposed to be like this, not in their boring pastel coloured clothes with their mediocre light beam powers like in other xianxia dramas!
People who think they are better than thou for not watching chaebol romcoms... your loss babe. Nobody here wants to listen to you complain about how the script is below the actors before the damn show even airs. I'm sure there are plenty of dramas that suit your sophisticated tastes for you to comment under.
Shaodian Youqing 2.0 really IS our three soul shards all together! Look at him being an obedient puppy like Lamu, stingy and mischievous like Mei Youqin, and flirty and affectionate like Wenren gongzi! I love him!
