Another compilation of my thoughts. 1.) I completely understand that Luo Yao is a shinning green flag but his relationship with CSS falls so flat even the adults see it. Anytime he is there with CSS and LBY, I want to sho him away. 2.) I really enjoy Yuan Shen and Cheng shao shang's bickering, I look forward to it. 3.) Not Cheng Zhi saying he would take care of his face and marry himself if he was looking for someone beautiful to marry. I really love his character. 4.) The Chemistry between CSS and LBY remains scorching. I feel bad for Ling Buyi. 5.) There are so many lovely characters in this drama, I can't pick a favourite. For a while now I have been watching cdramas where I want to strangle almost all the characters including the main leads. So this drama is refreshing. 6.) I don't really find the grandma comical. she's annoying and her outright preference of males is disgusting.
That's all I have. I may not watch the following episodes as soon as they come out. I have a feeling it's going to be so angsty, I am going to feel so bad for Ling Buyi hence it would be better if I just binge watched everything during binge watch this week's episodes over the weekend.

Exactly...LY cannot keep up with CSS. When he was told to get reinforcements, he came back with Cheng Zhi and one other dude (I wanted to facepalm myself). If Zisheng didn't go to save CSS, all of them would have died.
He is determined and I believe with his determination, sometime in the future he will achieve his dreams but now. He is weak and flexible and cannot maneuver the evil plotting of characters.
I will just lump all my thoughts into this comment. 1. The emperor is their biggest shipper and I love it. 2. For once, I concur with CSS's Mum but I don't like her methods. 3. Ling Buyi's eyes actually sparkles when he sees CSS or hears her name or title. 4. I swear I don't hate Luo Yao but I can't wait for him to leave the picture. I even prefer Yuan shen to him, At least there's a bit of chemistry between Yuan Shen and Niao Niao. 5. I just know this week's episodes are going to give me nothing but Heartache. 6. Is it so hard for Yaunyi to compliment her own daughter especially when she has done so much for Huo county. it's getting tiresome...7. Ling Buyi shirtless is just.........🥵
