It's pleasing to watch though they are some differences. The Meteor gazing scene was really disastrous in the novel😭😭. Shaodian Youqiin almost killed Yetan by mistake.

Listening to the OST of this drama makes me really happy...almost to the point of tears. This drama gave me so much Joy and then sadness and then Joy again. When I listen to the OSTs, I feel nostalgic even though it hasn't been that long since I finished. I wish I could wipe my memory and start all over again. I promise myself I will watch it again next year or at the end of the year when I have time.


Also is this drama doing really well in China, I hope it is because the cast is excellent and the story is engaging

This is my favorite Xianxia drama so far. The relationship building was so good and no plotline dragged out too long. They carried me from the beginning to the end without boredom.

Both couples were wonderful but The Yetan and Youqin are my favorite because they were just so mischievous.

That being said, please who knows where I can read the English translation of the Novel. I have tried web novel but the translation is giving me a migraine

I swear Li xun gave Zhu Yun trauma with his impulsive decisions and pushing her away. she was near suicide. if she was my friend, I would never support her going back to him. The worst part was after meeting three years later, he was still an asshole towards her and everyone around him.

He is the epitome of superiority complex. I am a fan of flawed characters because that's how real life people are, however, I feel the relationship in this drama is highly incompatible. someone is always giving and the other is taking. He basically alienated her from her parents (yes they are toxic) but he didn't even try to convince them that he'll be good for her (at least the father)

No jealous female characters for rivals..the relationship between the women in the drama is top tier. The character developments are also well done

Where do I start? How is the cast so perfect, there are so many lovable people in this drama likewise annoying characters and They all play their roles perfectly.

The Romance was so freaking natural. I have to say that Mudeok is really a magnet to all men. I think it's nice seeing a change in dynamics between the male and the female lead. I can sit here and write long ass essays about how Mudeok is such a cool female character (I am a fangirl for life)

This drama was a ride really. it was funny, intense, emotional, suspeseful and intriguing.

All the important characters are multifaceted, The CGI is beautiful, The story is so well thought out and complex.

I am crossing out the days till we get season.

What can I say, I cried a bit with Cheng shao shang when they were planning out their future. This episode was so adorable and sweet. Ling Buyi thinking the rabbit was a rat had me wheezing.

I was shook when the Emperor threw pancake (I assume it was pancake) at Ling Buyi. It was so quick, The emperor takes no shit. Ling Buyi looked so sulky and rebellious throughout the emperor's scolding, it was low-key cute.

I just finished episode 42 and I am pouring tears. I am really able to formulate opinions now so I shall list all the times this episode made me cry. The first was when niao niao's mother slapped her, I just felt the strong emotions coming from both of them. The second was when Cheng shao shang knelt in front of the palace with the crown prince and empress accompanying her. The third was when the Cheng family made a resolution to eat because they have faith that Cheng Shi's name will be cleared. The fourth final time was when Cheng shao shang told the Emperor not to insult her father, I just broke down.

Cheng shao shang's intelligence is a refreshing kind of intelligence in female leads. she's so knowledgeable when it comes to handcraft and is always inventive. it's so impressive and cute when she rambles about her discoveries and inventions.

She may not be book smart or know military tactics but she's a quick learner and a wise schemer.

I didn't like the chemistry between Wu lei and Diliraba in the long ballad. it was there for the first part and then it vanished.

I was more into the second leads' chemistry..I really enjoyed Haodu and Leyan's relationship

This drama is a rollercoaster of emotions, how does one go from crying with Cheng shao shang to smiling like an idiot in seconds. That SCENE had me fanning myself. I need self-defense lessons too.

Why can't I strangle people from my screen. I'd I can get my hands on fifth princess neck, I will feel so fulfilled. She's so vile and disgusting, self-centered bit*ch, Jealous and foolish. I can't wait for Ling Buyi to give her what she deserves.

I am so anxious for episode 37/38..Cheng shao shang's sweet relationship with the empress might come to an end. Honestly, the empress shouldn't defend her daughter's action even if it's her daughter but it's understandable. I hope consort Yuo won't spit fire at CSS, my heart can't take it. I doubt she will though.

Not Ling Buyi leaving Cheng shao shang's room empty after claiming he was going to get a few things. I am weeping and dying of laughter 😭😭

I'm late Y'all. These are my opinions for 33 and 34.

1.) Oh my gosh. I love to see couples fighting and resolving their issues. Cheng shao shang realizing that Ling Buyi has done so much for her and it's the minor things he does that really upsets doesn't negate that fact. Ling Buyi is so sweet, he always realizes his faults and apologizes immediately. He dotes on her so much.

(2.) How can I forget one of Ling Buyi's guard saying 'If I carry a foot stool, Master will have to reason to carry you'...sneaky ling Buyi likes to carry CSS whenever he can.

(3.) Miss Huo might not have been a good person when she was young but I feel so bad for her and Ling Buyi. Maquis chengyang and his wife are scum.

(4.) Don't we all just love it when insults are thrown around. CSS and her mother served Marchioness chengyang what she deserved. If I was her, I would never show my face again but she had the audacity to come for the engagement.

(5.) MVP of episode 34 goes to Consort Yuem she came to slay. Episode 34 gave me bursts of adrenaline, I couldn't stop smiling. Cheng shao shang did not back down and insulted those good for nothing women, Yuanyi delivered with that slap and Consort Yue came to slay. it was just so satisfying.

(6.) The Trio (The emperor, empress and consort You) is so refreshing and harmonious. when the women talk, the emperor doesn't interfere. When Consort Yuo begins to spit fire, you better take cover
