that is bold! I would say MLC is still my #1 fav cdrama. but this comes very close! I enjoy the calm episodes…
I feel like the frustration that everyone is feeling in these latest episodes might just be a minor side story compare to the overall plot, that is if all these little hints come true.
After some more sleuthing around, found out that up until ep. 16, XMM has been reset 3 times already. So for everyone complaining about the writing and how disjointed everything was in the first 6 episodes, it was because XMM had already been reset in the first episode. Some abrupt/disjointed conversations was because of scenes/info that had already happened from his actual first transmigration and now he's following up with questions. Take for example when he asked if Xueyu was his adopted sister (his first go around he must of discovered something to ask this question), and now in the later episodes people are speculating if she might be LCZ's sister (?). In terms of CY's acting in these first few episodes and how people think it's 'off', these 'irrational performances is to lay groundwork' for some plot down the road. And there were also comments about how come he seems to adapt to the system so easily and how he's attached to everyone so quickly, that's cause this was his second reset. So now I wonder how many more of these conversations that comes across as awkward or unexplained events in the early episodes were clues into the later episodes ??
And as for the 'fake' scenery and weird special effects, it was because they wanted to convey the feeling of being in a game/made up fantasy world. So people might not like how it was approached or overall look, but there was a reason for it and not because it was cheaply shot.
And this is the second person who said the first few episodes are a foreshadowing and they couldn't go into an explanation without ruining the whole plot, so now it's driving me crazy what it is! Not to mention they said once everything unfolds, it might be even better than MLC. These are really bold words to express!
So even though we are all combing through the finer details, these details might lead to a much bigger picture at hand. Please share if someone notices anything!

Not sure if they might've changed the final plot from the novel? With adding the whole traveling into a book theme, they would keep some core elements of the novel, but change the overall ending?
After reading some comments discussing the plot on weibo, found out there'll be a twist of some kind that people in the know are keeping a secret (??), hints and easter eggs in the earlier episodes, and some sort of foreshadowing at the beginning?? I know there's a lot of talk and guessing of the characters on who's good and bad, but did anyone pick up on any clues about the end game? There must be more than him just surviving and becoming a hero right? 🤔🧐

Ignore or block them. They're really mad this show still has high ratings thus the flooding of negative reviews. Everyone here that is commenting likes it so they're objective is a moot point. All they are doing is wasting reading space. Not a very bright group of trolls.
