I was prepared for a lot of deaths, so I gotta say Qian Zhao and Sun Lang didn't take me off guard. It was devastating,…
The LTG wedding scene was so bad and out of nowhere and as well spoiled the wedding between the leads as i was still in cringe mode. But i loved the 3 butterflies appearing on ML shoulder, it made me feel there is an afterlife.
Don't mention Mr Queen ending to me!!!! Hate it so much, horrible and so depressing while painted to be a happy…
I still cry thinking of how the ML was feeling after returning in the future, alone and forgotten by everyone in the past, as his existence wasnt even acknowledged. I feel it is an open wound to this day ๐ฅฒ
oh boy... been waiting to binge all eps while checking updates and cuts on internet... to see THE ENDING SPOILERS....…
I went to spoil myself in past days with all the deaths, and as much as i didnt want to believe it, all the speculations i read online came true. So at least when it happened i was mentally prepared ๐ as much as i hoped for different ending they managed to make most of the deaths realistic and meaningful and actually the only thing weird was those few seconds of happy ending for the leads
That's why I don't watch ongoing dramas... I have major, MAJOR trauma from Mr Queen's ending, the worst ending…
Don't mention Mr Queen ending to me!!!! Hate it so much, horrible and so depressing while painted to be a happy ending. I dont think i ever watch an ending so bad in my life. In this show I'm sad for many characters but i still loved the journey and those who died, died for a reason. As well there are hints of afterlife, like the 3 butterflies flying on the main character shoulder. Of course i wished for less death but still it didnt make me hate the show. The last few seconds of a hinted happy ending for a couple of character was a bit out pf nowhere to be honest
I like the reversal. He was probably fed misinformation. And it's hard to learn to be a good emperor without fighting…
Me too, even with all the spoilers around i dont know about him, just finished ep 35. The Emperor is open on admitting he was wrong and that is a good quality considering they are regarded like Gods
I was hoping at least somebody will have a sort of a happy ending but it seems nobody did. Didnt watch but read the spoilers... do we at least get some glimpse of a better world for people they created or not even that?
Agree. To add, they are from Ludiao Hall, so they live dangerous lives and can be killed in any action/mission…
And as well his brother literally died to save the Emperor, if the Emperor dies his brother died for nothing, not to mention all thousands of other soldiers who died. Only this Emperor can bring them honour by ruling in a good way, the edict is not enough

I think he is not completely a bad person to begin with but he was stupid, selfish and ignorant. It did seem he had some degree of care for the soldiers dying defending him and he was about to write the edict straight away when YY arrived, but him being paranoid and selfish he decided not to do it and use it as a bargaining chip. It took him time to realise his mistakes, but he admitted his wrongdoings. As you said he will need to live with it and he was suspecting QZ wanted to kill him but still went with him. I'm hoping as well that this is enough for him to permanently change and be a better person and ruler. And not to return to his old ways once he is Emperor again (if he manage to return on throne). The Emperor of An would never do the same. Ps. Still not sure if the wu emperor is worse than his brother to be the ruler of wu.... there is not a lot of choice for wu in terms of good emperors
I haven't started watching it yet so is it good? Is it mainly plot focused or how big the romance part is? In…
It is character focused. Depending what kind of dramas you normally like, romance is there but i confess i care more for the friendship dynamic between the leads and the people around them, but i do enjoy the leads romantic moments too (except in the first few eps)
