This makes me so much more annoyed with the direction they took in the show, especially for Yi Zhi and his character. Where can I find the novel, even if it is in Mandarin?

My only hope at this time is that she will leave everything behind in the end and be free alone. Anything is better than her being with him. I thought I would start liking him in time, but no expecially because their romance is so badly written as well. 😭 By the way, in the OST video, it seems she will end up alone and free.

Six more episodes to go. I can't drop it now, it's too late. 😪 I need to resist because I'm stubborn. It's all January's fault, as it didn't have too many great dramas. came to watch because of the ML and the other drama with him looked even worse than this one, but come on! how could they make something like this? I think it is even worse for the main actress. her role was horrible, with those weird mannerisms and childish womanchild character, feel embarrassed for her. I don't know the actress but I'm sure she can act so much better than she is allowed here

That happened to me as well! It didn’t help that, through previews, etc., it just looked so flat, despite the great visuals. And I did finish some dramas that seemed so much less than this one. I don’t know what it is about it, and I like the lead actors. I still haven’t officially dropped it, but I can’t find myself picking it up again.

Yes, and the fact that there was no build-up for his feelings for her makes me dislike him even more. I don’t like this kind of man in the first place, they should have left space for his character to develop a bit before, but no.

I was quite enjoying it—one hour per day or two episodes per day. I wouldn't be able to watch more than that. I'm now on episode 10, and I feel the nothingness is getting to me. Don't get me wrong, the leads are great, but there is nothing going on at all. There is barely any semblance of a plot, and that would have been okay if they had done a shorter show and cut some unnecessarily long scenes. I don't mind slow-paced stories. I really loved Meet Yourself, but there was a plot there and character development. Here it is just a love relationship with great chemistry, and I just have to accept that and continue watching 😅 Hopefully until the end.

Yeah, I wouldn't be able to watch more than one or two episodes a day. I like it, but obviously, there is little storytelling outside of the main characters' love story, so it would be impossible for me to watch too many episodes. I'm enjoying it day by day 😉

For once, a drama is how I expect it to be from the trailer. It is slow, and not a lot of things are going on, but strangely, it is nice and well done. So far, all the actors are amazing. Are there going to be any secondary couples? As well, it doesn't seem there are going to be love triangles or such, and I'm so happy about that. I hope I'm not mistaken 😆😅

Perhaps if the character he plays were more interesting, it wouldn't be so bad, but as I said elsewhere before, the character is so unremarkable and uninteresting. Since there are so many male characters, they should have made him unique in some positive way, but no, he feels more like an extra than a ML. Hopefully they make something of him in the future episodes

So far, I like everything except for the English title of the drama and the ML. 😄 I'm still holding onto the hope that he can become intriguing down the line, never say never 🤣

If the ML is her main love interest i hope she will not end up with anybody, get her revenge and live a free life
