I'm still on episode 6 and i dont understand from where and how she will kiss the ML as there is no feeling between them as for now, no chemistry, nothing. As well he is just so unremarkable for now as a character

Me too, it was a pleasant surprise. The only thing I don’t like is the male lead. I wish he would be more cunning and calculating if he can’t fight, or if he’s not a mastermind, at least he could be a warrior. As well he is the son of the former crown Prince and obviously somebody will need to take the Emperor place once he is punished. and I don't see FL happy to be caged in a Royal Palace. Anyway there is a lot of episodes for character to grow so hopefully he will be more interesting in time 😅

It seems that in the novel, she loved Cheng, but it didn't work out as they were on opposite sides of the war. I haven't read the novel, but I've been spoiling myself, and it seems they are already changing a lot of things from the novel, so we don't know what we're going to have in the end 😅

Don't know how was it in the novel but here she just experienced the cruelty of the other army towards civilians. (episode 5), I can't see her fall in love with the enemy. when I watched Long Ballad, ML was from the enemy army but he always tried to keep civilians safe by controlling his men and was quite honorable in a battlefield

I think they could have made it so much better than it actually is and the beginning was so off putting, in fact I continued watching just because I wrote in the comment section asking if it gets better as at that time there were already 8 episodes out but I couldn't pass the first few minutes of the pilot episode. Regardless the story and the characters are very good and I do enjoy all the main actors 😉

I have the subscription to iQiYi but the subs are so bad. I couldn't pass the first episode. does anybody know if the subtitles get better on iQiYi for this drama? or where else to watch with better subs

and at the beginning of the first episode I thought I would hate this ML 😄 but I like all the main characters. I wish the show would have been a bit more serious with better script and overall production but I still like it and I would very much like to play the game 😆

I'm now at ep 5. and yes it gets better. it was the first episode (expecially the first part of it) to be unwatchable. right now I feel like I'm playing an RPG game 😉 main characters are cute so far, hope the writer will give them more depth 🙂

i played the videogame (which should be sword and fairy 7) and i thought it will be more serious as a show, it just looks silly and bad. but it seems it is more enjoyable later on from the other comments, or at least i hope so as I'm gonna try to finish ep 1 😅🤣

hello! for whoever managed to watch the episodes that came out so far, is it worth the watch? i couldnt past the first few minutes as the young ml (i guess) acting was so bad, dubbing was weird and that cgi pig was so cringe... it just looks overall bad. Than the transition to his older version with the same annoying character as when he was a child was off putting. But anything is possible, so if the story is interesting and the leads are well done i could still watch it. so anybody who has some time please let me know... 😆 Didnt manage to see Ju Jing Yi as i stopped watching before her arrival.

I just saw that the first ep was out on Viki and I was wondering if the show is already out somewhere else because of the rating. who rates a show after only 1 or 2 episodes? and why is it even allowed 🤔 anyways I'm still watching ep 1 😅

No teams here but Ak Hee gives me the ick. don't know if that will change but I did drop the webtoon because of him, before I could even see how Sajo Hyun is as a character. but as I remember the Sajo Hyun from the webtoon was very different from the one in the drama 🤔 but maybe I remember wrong 😅😂 anyways I'm watching the ep 2 just now and enjoying it

Not having anymore dramas to watch on holidays i was thinking to start this one AGAIN. I watched it when it was on air but half way through it (or 1/3 dont remember) i couldnt go on as i felt the FL was just too amazing for a man like ML. He was so wishy washy for me, the kind of man i really dislike 😅 so for people who liked the female lead but not ML, does it get better later on or is it better just to find something else to watch 🫣

I feel like Lu Zhi was the only interesting character and wish they did better his turn to the dark side, and he would have been perfect. The actor looks promising and hope he will accept good and interesting roles in the future. Ps. Sorry him and the Judge. The protagonist was so 2 dimensional for me

After finishing this drama with express package i was a bit sad. But than i went to watch the kdrama My Dearest and i realised how much i prefer when the justice prevails at the end and all the evil people are punished regardless of what happens to the leads 🥲 so i realised I'm happy with the ending of Journey to Love. Sometimes a happy ending is realising your goals and leaving a better world behind. I prefer that than everybody dying or surviving in the shadows with evil people not being punished as that is even more realistic and horrible to me 🥲
