The Beimo part will probably be solved quickly at the end. After all, both the 2ml and the one who killed her family have the same screen time as extras, not even as supporting roles. They've already shown us how much the show is focused on the ML and his journey. The ending is already shown in Sara Liu's OST/official music video, with FL leaving town and riding towards the sunset. Maybe they will surprise us at the end with some kind of twist but doubt it 😆

From the previews, it does not seem so, but he will eventually appear as that part of the story (Beimo invasion) is still unresolved.

A long time ago, I read the webtoon, but I stopped reading it because I felt the female lead was too powerless in the amnesia plot, which was longer than the one in the show. Additionally, the Akhee's dialogues about what he did to her were too disgusting for me. On the other hand, many plots were different there too, and those seemed more interesting than the ones in the show, where they changed the characters and fates of many side characters (his brother included).

a lot of people with abusive parents will mourn them after they die. Remember as well that if you never managed to confront your bully and that person is lost forever that unresolved feeling will linger on you. I have people in my life who had abusive parents and they love them, I don't understand their point of view but I know my personal experience doesn't match theirs

There was a show called The Imperial Coroner and the FL was the Coroner so I thought it was a show about her, but it wasn't as after the few initial episodes the show was all about the ML. Don't get me wrong, all the characters there were interesting and I cared for their future but I felt tricked as the FL wasn't really central to the plot as the ML was. Now in this show originally called Amei joins the army or any other alternative of a title with Amei part of it... I feel it is more about the ML journey at this point and not hers. But even after 24 episodes there is no character development. Everybody is just the same like in the episode 1, the only thing that changes sometimes is the situation. I have no connection with side characters so I'm never worried for them and I confess don't care for anybody really. The second ML or whoever he is supposed to be in this show is non-existent. The 3ML who is supposed to have some kind of brotherly relationship with her is barely there too. The relationship between the leads doesn't feel earned, they could have wrote their romance in so many ways but no, they liked eachother straight away out of nowhere. Maybe there were scenes they chopped off and that's why it is like this, but who knows, this is what we got. ps. I almost forgot about her childhood sweetheart/enemy, he is almost not existent too because FL is put on second place in the story so it is not about her, but about ML and his journey to become Emperor abd his relationships with people around him

I confess I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of progress on the revenge part, and I was kind of expecting Amai to be a general by now. I feel the story is not that much about her at all, except when she needs to give plans and ideas to her boyfriend. Finishing episode 23 now... and there aren't too many episodes left...

She may not be visually what you like, but she is a good actress. Recently, she was in Amidst a Snowstorm of Love.

Of course, when I'm off on the weekend, there are no new episodes. But at least I'm going to Chinatown today to stockpile some cakes from the bakery and have a super crowded walk. 😆 Happy Lunar New Year, everybody! Let's hope the Year of the Dragon will be a good year 🐉🎉🎇🎆

At first, I was delighted that this was a 12-episode drama, as I believed it would eliminate any unnecessary filler episodes. However, now I find myself wishing it were a 16-episode drama 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲

I'm sure he is. She was his childhood sweetheart and his family. I guess he did what he did in the past because the family would have been killed anyway, and that was the only way for him to save her. I guess he can only go through some kind of redemption arc by dying or something like that. Anyway, his decision ruined so many lives, regardless of his reason. As much as he seems an interesting character, he doesn't have any problems letting his soldiers kill and torture civilians.

They could have at least tried to write it well if they wanted to change main parts of the plot, but no, it was too much to ask. Their love story is not love and it is not a story; it is just there. It feels like he fell for her just because she is female, and she likes him just because he was the first man to see her and treat her as a woman. The end. My coping mechanism is like when your friend falls for some guy that gives you the ick, but you can't say anything because it is her choice and you just need to accept it 🤣😅

I understand that it is common for dramas to simplify or alter the original story, but in this case, the changes made are actually the aspects that I hate 😅 But regardless I still love the drama so far
