Very different vibes than what I was initially expecting but once I Iet myself sit with it I was actually pretty impressed with this first episode. It doesn't feel like a BL, it feels more like just a solid workplace drama that just so happens to feature a queer lead character, which is nice. The slower pace and character driven scenes will surely drive some people up the wall but I'm actually a fan of these more character driven stories GMMTV is trying these days (Only Boo! and We Are come to mind). It actually reminds me a bit of the American remake of Ugly Betty, what with it focusing on a naive intern and a sharp but secretly softer boss. I think what will make or break this show is whether the main ensemble are all able to pull their weight. So far I like the dynamic of all the characters, so I'm interested to see where it all goes.

I enjoyed this series, but part of me wishes it could have been longer to develop the story and characters a bit more. It was quite a heavy narrative to try and tackle in only 8 episodes but I still think they did a great job. Archie quietly supporting the core group at the end from the sidelines is what really broke me. That poor boy has so much anguish, it was so bittersweet but lovely to see him tossing the confetti in support.

if you enjoyed this drama I highly recommend My School President as well. Similar premise, great chemistry of the actors, and an AMAZING soundtrack ❤️

For real, them staggering these releases is so painful I just wanna sob in the comfort of my own Playlist. all kidding aside though I am so very sad that Only Boo Sundays are over. I've been rewatching the show which helps a bit though.

To compare an obvious emotionally resonant hard hitting drama like Last Twilight to a lighthearted earnest romantic comedy like Only Boo is a little disingenuous considering the two shows are very different and trying to do completely different things, but the point is that they both do well what they set out to do. Only Boo is by no means perfect, but it was clearly a labor of love and offers an incredibly sweet and poignant love story and it's perfectly valid for someone to like it just as much or even more than something more widely perceived as good like Last Twilight. ❤️

I don't know if the Thai Cherry Magic getting a box set so late after it finished airing was because of a very specific reason, but if not, it gives me a bit of hope that Only Boo might eventually get one. Please GMMTV I need it 😫 😭

You can enjoy whatever show you want and you can also dislike any show you want too. no one is saying you can't, but to come in here and insult a show a lot of people like is rude. nobody wants to hear rude comments.

Everytime I see a negative comment I think I'm just gonna come on here to praise how much I love this show. it might be me expressing delulu fan behavior but this show means a lot to me.

to call it childish crap is so incredibly rude that it sort of invalidates anything meaningful you have to say. If you hated the show that's fine but why kick the hornet's nest when so many people clearly enjoyed the show?

I think its a little rude to call a show a lot of people seem to enjoy childish, but you're fully entitled to your opinion. Mydramalist is based entirely on fan opinions and different people enjoy different things. I enjoyed masterpieces like Last Twilight just like you did but enjoying Only Boo just as much isn't a crime. Quality lies everywhere.

just found this comment now but it resonated so deeply with me. I finished my rewatch of MSP just a few days before Only Boo's finale and now that both are finished I feel so empty without them. 😢 😭

It's only been a day and I already miss them like crazy. I hope it was enough of a success to convince GMMTV to eventually do a box set cus I'll pre-order it day one. It's really going to take me a while to get over this series. It was so special to me.
