I understand why the break-up was necessary. But the thing is, it happens in almost every other GMMTV series so…
I'm hoping episode 11 will get us up to speed with what the two have been up to in the year since they last saw each other, maybe a couple of flashbacks or something. The show has been pretty good so far about tying up all its loose ends so hopefully they will do it here as well ❤️
Moo isn't selfish he's a teenager, and one who is trying to follow his dream, why would be listen to his mother…
your personal moral code not aligning with the things a fictional character does doesn't make what the character is doing bad or wrong. sure in real life it's good to listen to your mom but Moo is a character in a story and if he didn't push back on his mom's words thered be no story.
It's not giving the same Vibes anymore, at least for me. Moo is so selfish, like seriously from the beginning…
Moo isn't selfish he's a teenager, and one who is trying to follow his dream, why would be listen to his mother when all she seems to try to do is shoot down his dream? we as the audience understand that his mother is trying to protect him, but Moo is a passionate teenager who wants to be an idol, if he didn't pursue his goal there'd literally be no story. And what was he supposed to do, rewrite the entire idol industry? hello?
Kang did what he had to do to keep Moo from self sabotaging because of course Moo wants to be with Kang but he's also worked incredibly hard to reach his everest. his goal. his dream. the thing the entire show is based around.
and you understand that they were going to get caught no matter what right? them dating in secret was provided as humorous because it was never going to work. because it's been set up that way. since the start. are we watching the same show?
completely agree with you. as long as these last two episodes stick the landing and don't completely implode,…
That's so lovely 😍 Given how well the series has been written up to this point, I'm pretty confident that these last two episodes will be just as enjoyable and well done as the last ten. This doesn't strike me as a story that would end on a bittersweet note given how bright and joyful it's been since the start.
Liked the breakup, but not the time skip. It actually makes sense that Kang broke up with Moo. He has always been…
completely agree with you. as long as these last two episodes stick the landing and don't completely implode, this will easily be my favorite BL of all time. I love Moo and Kang more than anything 💗

I'm not here to argue with you, but since you commented in the comment section I assumed you wanted some sort of engagement. but if you aren't looking to discuss the show then I'll leave it be. sorry to see you go.

things can be realistic and still turn out happy. there's nothing about this series that isn't predictable but it's still an enjoyable ride none the less. I imagine you could predict all the plot beats from the first episode, but as long as it's done well it doesn't matter cus it's enjoyable. if you didn't find the last episode enjoyable that's perfectly valid, but if you think this series isn't gonna have a happy ending just because they added a little drama at the end then I don't think you are paying that close attention LOL
While in Western countries it is "entertaining" for many to follow the private lives of artists and spread "gossip"…
very well said. it's a very tragic side effect of wanting to pursue fame, but a very real one, and I commend Only Boo for delving into the storyline, especially because they had been setting it up since the very beginning. there's no doubt in my mind that Kang and Moo will get their happy ending, but a story needs a few hurdles along the way, and given Moo's choice of profession, this is a very obvious roadblock for the couple to hit. I think it was very well done, and am excited to see where the story goes.
Dropped with 2 to go.It wasn't as if I didn't know, but I DID think that they would leave the idol path quite…
I can understand your frustration. the last minute break up and time skip thing has been done to death in these dramas. but I do think this one was set up in a way that it makes sense. and granted we still have two full episodes left where the two meet up again so I'm confident it'll get a happy ending. I'm sad to hear you've dropped it 😔
I dont understand what other route they could've gone with it? I saw some people say the break up disappointed…
also break ups just happen, with couples sometimes. and in Moo and Kang's case it comes completely from a place of love. there's no contrivances here. Kang deeply loves Moo and by him doing this it just shows that intense love even more. I get that this is a fantasy story, but all fantasies draw from the humanity of reality, and that is why I know that despite these troubling times (which only show their deep love anyways) we will get that fantasy happy ending. because both Moo and Kang deserve it, and have worked hard for it. ❤️

agreed 10000% that this was how it had to go down, and it feels earned because everything was set up to happen this way. the story was never really about calling out the toxicity of the idol culture, but rather how two kind hearted loving people must navigate it. if this had started as a story about Moo trying to change the ways idols do things that'd be one thing, but this is still very much a story working within the narrative of "becoming an idol" and by default this is a roadblock that many must face, so it's not about him doing some unrealistic thing to win the day, but how two characters navigate a situation that's very real. and THAT is where the love story excels because it's always been about Moo and Kang and how they tackle things to make their love work. the idol stuff is just the final boss, so to speak.
the difference between this story and other series that do the same thing is that this story naturally built towards the events that happened in this episode. the story makes sense because everything has been properly plotted from the start. we have known Moo's dream from the very first scene. we know how important it is to him. we also know how much Kang takes care of Moo and puts him first. everything about this episode makes perfect sense and was handled beautifully. none of the events felt artificial or just for drama's sake, because this episode is a result of every piece that has been building since episode 1, and to me it's just very good writing. I have no doubt things are going to wrap up beautifully in these last two episodes. truly I am wowed every week by how great this show is at all the things it sets out to do.
I'm a huge fan of Fourth and Gemini. their acting and singing talents are no joke. and I know they have good chemistry from MSP and Moonlight Chicken, but I was a little underwhelmed with this first episode. I think it was a mistake to try and emulate the Japanese style rather than just filter the story through a Thai lense to focus on their strengths. The episode was a bit awkwardly paced and there seemed to be a lot of dead air that made each scene feel unnecessarily uncomfortable. I'm still looking forward to following this series for FourthGemini but I hope it picks up a bit. The theme song is unironically amazing, though.
It isn't even about the romances for me anymore (even though I am really enjoying them). I could honestly just watch this group of friends hanging out for six more episodes. I really enjoy the way the characters interact and how sweet and silly they are together. The author did a good job of making a fun ensemble that are all interconnected in a fun realistic way. I'm all for more queer slice of life stories. ❤️
If the last three episodes keep up the pace and quality of the previous nine then this will secure the top spot for me of my favorite BL of all time. I would die for Moo and Kang and their wonderfully charming love story ❤️
