I've noticed that you watch A LOT of movies, cause I frequently look at recent reviews and saw this documentary about consumerism and remembered this other great BBC documentary "Century of the Self" and while I've only watched 2 parts and don't know where it goes it shows where consumerism started and I thought you might be interested and wanted to share :) and btw listing politics as one of your dislikes...when I saw that I literally felt triggered :DD
If this is just like the original then it'll be really psychological, gritty and mature. It's like a VERY different coming of age story but at the same time, it's hard to tell what the author was getting at. I strongly recommend the original.
I just read the manga yesterday and now I'm really wondering how will they approach this, because the original is gory, violent but in the end pretentious and edgy.
It's an unpopular opinion but I think that manga and anime are slowly killing TV and Movies in Japan. I'm not…
While there are a lot of adaptations and most of the time they turn out mediocre at best I never felt like it's polluting Japanese doramas and Movies. Are there that many more adaptations compared to originals?
I'm very surprised yet happy to see that they'll adapt "River's Edge", it's such a niche title but I do recommend it. Also very happy that we'll get to see a "Marmalade Boy" adaptation - such a classic! ^^
Thank you so much for this, I love you! Will definitely use these recommendations, hope our styles don't crash cause I really did not like Full House that much >.<
I'm sorry. Didn't put much thought into the words I was using, just wanted to get my point across, my fault. Even then I would say that being a hater is a clear opinion. Love and hate are both words describing a very clear maybe shallow but still an opinion. And the way I put it, using completely distorted grammar (not that my English is perfect any other way) I thought would make it clear that i'm slightly sarcastic, especially since the concept of "haters" is already an intertnet meme at this point.
You're Beautiful was one of the first dramas I watched and that was like about 2 years ago. As someone who's pretty young my tastes change very quickly not to mention that it's way easier to enjoy a drama when you just started watching them. I am sure that I wouldn't enjoy it as much now but that is what I felt at the time and am not changing the score. And btw it's just an opinion I don't see why everyone is attacking me while I'm just looking for like-minded people..
Society has turned the word "intimate" into something sexual when It's really not all that.
