That's really interesting! And since it incorporates my favourite drama genres(mystery, sageuk and gender bender)…
Okay how about Lee Soo Hyuk killed a person for revenge, because that person messed with his family in some way, but other murders start occurring and it turns out that Lee Soo Hyuk was being manipulated by one of the male gisaeng. You know at first Lee Soo Hyuk wasn't really planning on taking revenge, but since the mysterious man manipulated him, his anger and sad memories just appeared so he murdered someone. But murders started happening all over the place and Lee Soo Hyuk was framed for all of them even though the other man killed all the people except one. does this make any sense? :D

Honestly, I am sorry but in such a setting (wich I love btw) the murder case doesn't really fit. You see if you…
You know I would enjoy "mystery a day" kind of plot. Like "oh no someone is stealing our food, who could it be?!" and then they found out that a boy has to take care of his mother while she is sick and they help him and his mother heals. Or "There is a rumour going around that 2 men in the gisaeng house have a romantic relationship" and you know...it might just be a rumour or it might be true *wink*. Or Every night there is a ghost seen walking in the halls of the house and everyone is scared but they find out that someone is just sleep walking. And lets make everything ridiculous and funny. I am just writing my own drama :D

I have't actually :) I don't think I got my point across well, my bad. ;D I feel like mystery genre could be excellent if it is fairly light. In my opinion a murder case would be pretty cliche and heavy and I don't know if we want that. But again that is just my opinion ^^

Honestly, I am sorry but in such a setting (wich I love btw) the murder case doesn't really fit. You see if you want a good mystery it has to be dark and deep. In my opinion it just seems so unnecessary and out of place. But hey what do I know! Maybe you could pull it off! ^^ I would just roll with the slice of life and make it super comedic, light and cute. A lot of the times after a hard day at work/school that is all you need :)

Is Gender Bending considered cliché? Not yet on my side. XD But all the others... I need to write a second part…
Try "Smile, you". It's kind of the other way around. :D
