This show is a step up in Thai drama. The guy is sweet and there is no rape anywhere (yet, I'm on ep6). I like the sweet story. The only complaint I have is that sometimes James looks so young that I laugh. He looks like a boy trying to play a man and not quite succeeding sometimes. However, I can so get over that. I'm enjoying this.
I think about it too. And all the dramas you named, I've watched lol. I think it doesn't make you choosy about the one you already have, but it makes you depressed in the moment because you're single. Romance dramas hit singles hard! And then you want that someone to share your life with.
But I remember that life is harder than a drama and people are not perfect. Relationships are hard work. I still want my precious someone to share my life with, but I don't expect him to be perfect because I definitely am not.
Still - those dramas drill it into you hard! It's hard watching for single people. Like myself lol. And yes, it does kind of give you unrealistic expectations on how you will meet that special someone.
I liked Master's Sun, but it is a bit overated. Everything else, I agree with you though. Some others that everyone liked but I didn't was "City Hunter" and "Sound of the Desert" and "Personal Taste"
My thought on the ending was bitter sweet. But in fact I can make at least 5 different interpretation about the…
That's the trick that will keep this drama lingering in our minds: we don't know if the last ep was a prequel and we will never know for sure. But in the first round, the 1st Jung Woo went to Nepal in 2011 alone. In the 2nd, he went in 2012 with Sun Woo accompanying him. I'm thinking maybe the 2nd Sun Woo used only 1 stick to save the 1st Jung Woo. Remember in ep 1 or 2 somebody told Sun Woo that a man came and used 1 stick to save his family. He then left the sticks in the hotel because he didn't need them anymore. We could just go round and round in circles with this lol.

That did confuse me. And to be honest, I am still thinking about it to this day. The young Sun Woo (let's call him 'the 2nd') when he grew up, he went to the mountains the same time as his brother, in the same year. I think they left together, not so? It was the same time the girl was in the hotel and Sun Woo confessed to her. The next day, his brother arrived and they went together. And it was 2012. So no, no one died. I can only guess that some future version of the 2nd Sun Woo went back in time to save the 1st Jung Woo who had died. Remember, the whole series began with that scene. I think this show was a mind trip. I'm still trying to understand all the nuances from that last episode.
I'm glad that Xia Mo ends up with the guy I was rooting for, but boy was it frustrating along the way! I'm not…
I think because he was more obsessed (aka love in dramaland) with her. Maybe he couldn't see anything else but her? While the other guy still focusses on his career? I have not watched it yet but I plan to. I like romance novels and shows with the hero a bit over the top for the heroine. Guilty pleasure lol.
Currently watching too. I love this show. It's amazing with a great story, minimal plot holes, excellently presented characters, great acting, intrigue, suspense, a sweetly developing romance. This is wonderful
Lol, Mine was "Playful Kiss" and "Personal Taste". I'm also going to drop "East of Eden" now. It's just too repetitive and I realise I don't like Song Seung Ho's shaggy look - despite liking Song Seung Ho himself. I also struggled through "Protect the Boss" until I gave it up. I just couldn't get through it because I like my drama men a little stronger. I also had 2nd lead syndrome which I hate.

Jung Woo was Choi's biological child. It directly says so in the last episode. Sun Woo is his father's (the husband's) biological child. He said so in his death scene. he confronted his wife about what he though was an affair and her love child. He told Jung Woo that he was leaving everything to Sun Woo because Jung Woo was not his child and was not smart enough. Jung Woo still considered his and Sun Woo's dad as his father though, because the man did love him and raise him well before he went off his rocker.
I can't say that I completely know the story because I dropped it after episode 1. The yelling turns me off. Everyone…
Yes it does. But the gangster became a businessman who took over everything. If you don't like gangsters (or Cruel City) this is probably not your cup of tea then. But JaeJoong did play a nonchalant guy like you like them.

The second brother is the cool one later on in the show. He's cool, calculating, and can fight elegantly when he needs too. His brain is nothing to be scorned either. The older bro's anger tunes down in ep 2-3. He is actually the most level-headed one.
One of the best that I have seen. The OST was great too. JJ as Yeong Dal/ Dong Chul was excellent. He's a very good actor. His walk was attention grabbing and his role was excellently portrayed - not to mention intensely interesting. These three brothers and the actors who played them were wonderful to watch.
I love seeing him. I watched Noble, My Love and was blown away by him. He acted rather well and I couldn't understand why he didn't have more lead roles in full length dramas. He's really good and he's really beautiful. He's really fits a rich, chaebol lead role. I'd seriously watch him in anything.
