For example Coroner's Diary, The Wanted Detective, etc. The leads are popular and they are well known among romance dramas viewers. There is no complaints like this in their first airing period as far as i know. I watched them all during broadcasting period.
Coroner's Diary showed their romance after 10 first episodes and people were exciting for the cases + romance in that drama. The Wanted Detective showed the romance after 20+ episodes for main leads and people were still exciting for the drama. So it means romance dramas fans also can watch investigation and solving cases dramas especially if those dramas have mix romance in the story between main leads.
Unveil Jadewind will have romance in later stages. And people knew about it already.

I guess i will drop this season 2 in ep 12. I just can't continue to watch the cases. Previous cases are not solved yet and we got another corpse there. Their autopsies are also so boring. They only checked external injuries or bruises. It's so different with Coroner's Diary. They had some cases where FL needs to open the bodies to solve the cases in Coroner's Diary. And the results are very satisfying. Most of the time, they added unexpected twists as well.
The Wanted Detective is also better than TIC. They have big cases + side cases with interesting connections. And here, people are only busy to guess who is peacock without discussing any cases.

I think Coroner's Diary is still far BETTER than The Imperial Coroner. The budget and production designs of Coroner's Diary is more premium with higher budgets. Coroner's Diary is definitely more fast paced and they had well written script with interesting cases + jawdrop twists. The autopsies are well done + great logical thinking. The FL in Coroner's Diary is more beautiful, smart, briliant, mature, and charismatic. The ML in Coroner's Diary is more handsome, supportive, and mature. No unnecessary misunderstanding between couples. The chemistry between main leads in Coroner's diary is also very great as partner and couple.
If we compare this drama to Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty, STOTD is also better than The Imperial Coroner.
How about The Imperial Coroner? TIC season 2 got higher budget with better production designs than season 1, but that's all. Season 2 cases are BORING and flat. The closing of many cases are unclear. It's so different with Coroner's Diary and STOTD case solvings with satisfying closing and results for each cases. TIC is also slower in pace. Boring characters, boring chemistry, and boring cases.
