Many dramas have green flag MLs. Hidden Love fans also claimed Duan Jia Xu as greenest flag ML. And the first commenter didn't ask about green flag ML only. They also want dramas with no misunderstanding between couples (non toxic, little to no drama).

The dramas without misunderstanding in whole journey are like Blossom, The Double, Who Rules The World, Blossoms in Adversity, and etc. They have other conflicts with outside world, but there is no misunderstanding or fights between couples. Coroner's diary is also like that.

However, IMO, it's natural for dramas to have conlicts. Many great dramas also have some misunderstanding parts, but they cleared it up during their journey. For example Love Like The Galaxy, Story of Kunning Palace, Kill Me Love Me, A Dream Within A Dream, The Prisoner of Beauty, and etc. I still enjoy them a lot and they executed the whole stories well.

Modern non idol dramas = Minning Town, The Bond, Romance in the Alley, Six Sisters, To The Wonder, The Knockout, Northward, Born to be Alive, Ordinary greatness, Always on the Move, and etc.

Historical non idol dramas = Qin Dynasty Epic, The Longest Day in Chang'an, The Wind Blows from Longxi, The Litchi Road, Ripe Town, Under The Microscope, and etc

Stop overhyping. Wang Xing Yue is still a young idol actor no matter what you said as his fan. He is in the same group with other rising stars like Dylan Wang, Zhang Ling He, Xu Kai, and etc. Also, nothing is wrong with idol status. Many good actors & actresses also have idol status in Chinese dramaland.

WXY has not joined any general/realistic dramas about life (for example To The Wonder, The Knockout, The Bond, Minning Town, Six Sisters, Northward, Romance in the Alley, and etc) or non idol historical dramas like The Longest Day in Chang'an, Qin Dynasty Epic, The Wind Blows from Longxi, Ripe Town, The Litchi Road, Under the microscope, and etc.

Even some idol actors and actresses still had idol status even though they already did some general/realistic dramas. For example Bai Lu with "Ordinary Greatness" and "Northward", Zhao Lusi with "Hu Tong", Xiao Zhan with "The Youth Memories", Bai Jing Ting with "Always on the Move", and Yang Zi with " Born to be Alive".

Also, you posted about Calming Waves as S drama? Beijing literature weibo didn't say about S production in their post.

No. WXY still do many idol dramas. Just look at his filmography. First love, Amidst a Snowstorm of Love, One & Only, Story of Kunning Palace, The Double, Perfect Match, Your Sensibility My Destiny, and The Wanted Detective are still idol dramas. His upcoming drama with Bai Lu is also idol drama.

This is still idol drama. Julia Xiang and Wang Xing Yue are good looking people with good traffics. Idol drama also have detective and mystery genre. Coroner's diary is one example of detective idol drama.

Love of The Divine Tree is iQiyi in-house production. And Tencent also aired the drama.

I don't forget anything. I already watched all of the dramas that you said. But they simply don't enter my top favorite dramas.

TFF got full of misunderstanding in the beginning. From the past until present time because FL never speak about her real situations with ML.
