Yes. They should not pick Liu Hao Chun in the first place. If they wanna cast young actress with similar features like Liu Hao Chun, I think Xu Ruo Han can be the suitable FL for Wang An Yu in this drama. She is a young actress with passionate kissing scenes in previous projects (Forbidden Flower, The Best Thing). We also know Wang An Yu is also very good in kissing scenes.

Ep 31-38

I think they should make 1-2 full eps about FL first life and how she did the wrong things to become the empress. The drama opening explained all of that but I think people still need more details of them. The whole previous life eps will also explain many things why she doubted Xie Wei and his intentions before. It also helps many viewers to build more connections to the characters. They indeed have flashbacks for all of that actually, but I think it will be better if they invested 1-2 whole eps to explain the previous life in details.

Blossom (2024) also did the Rebirth element like SOKP, but they explained the previous life of both leads for one full episode in ep 1. And it made people understand the future tragedy more.

But, overall, SOKP Jiang Xue Ning's second life was executed very well. The palace politics are exciting and both leads are smart. They also have fast paced stories and conflicts. The twists are very good. And her misunderstanding in earlier eps about Xie Wei is understandable enough. She fell in love with him in the end and they have happy life together with 2 children.

What do you mean? This drama is one of the best palace politics drama. Xie Wei as ML even can think 10 steps ahead of his enemies. He is very smart. There are many twists in the end. There is no boring moments until the end.

They have passionate kisses in many eps. From eps 32, 36, 38, and special wedding ep. It's clearly there is ROMANCE in SOKP. Main CP Zhang Ling He and Bai Lu also have great chemistry together.

No. I still get what you meant but tbh i was confused when I read your statement for the first time. Because we never use he's when we talk about something that belong to the subject. No offense.

But still, you can't deny that many of his scenes are cut in the final product. Nobody knows the reason, yes, but this is the fact. ZLH even remained silent about OG and its promotions. He is clearly disappointed with the final results.

They didn't cut "some" of his scenes, but "many" of his scenes. It was shot for around 4 months. It supposed to have at least 30 or 32 eps.

They cut the eps before give it to censorship. That's why it was licensed to 24 eps. But it was never 24 from beginning. Remember, the deleted scenes also have durations. More scenes = more episodes.

Dunno. No one knows except the key people in the production team.

Stop being denial. They indeed cut MANY of Zhang Ling He scenes. It was reported to have 40 eps, but they cut it down to 24 eps. Even Koalasplayground made the article about that before this drama was aired.
